  • The Home network system means that information appliances, Home PCs, etc., using wired or wireless network method enable to control and share with peripheral devices such as internet, shared data, a scanner and a printer, and it is networking solution, which intelligent communication will be possible as the system which can do a remote control such as TV Set, refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, digital camcorders based on external network using an internet, a potable information terminal and a mobile phone whenever, wherever and freely. In this study, the home network interface solution is used one of the wired network standards, PLC (Power-Line Communication) technology, so we can construct of intelligent home network's home controller without re-build a network at home. On keeping with current waves of thought, we will focus on a home controller development with great interest which is enabled to do an effective managed control, applying intelligent home network technology which can be new paradigm like a cyber apartment.

  • 본 연구는 언어 교육용 프로그램을 개발하는 저작도구9authoring tool)와 학생들이 자율적으로 학습할 수 있는 지능형 컴퓨터 교사시스템(ITS : Intelligent Tutoring System)으 로 구성된 지능형 학습환경(Intelligent Learning Environment)을 설계한다. 특히, 범용시스 템에서 제공되는 불필요한 기능들을 제거하고 언어교육에 필요한 기능만을 가진 간편한 저 작도구의 설계와, 인공지능 기법을 이요하여 학생 개개인의 지식수준에 따라 차별화하여 지 능적으로 교육할 수 있는 지능형 교사시스템의 구성 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, the efficient prevention of cross talk technique for basically avoiding the confusion problem between the overlapped ubiquitous network of the other object is developed within the same area. The intelligent unified wireless network remote meter reading system of the ubiquitous ZigBee base is developed based on this technology. Therefore, in this paper, each meter reading equipments managed the information of its own adjacent ZigBee channel. The intelligent network system steadily transmitting data a relay was developed based upon this information in each region through the flexible channel conversion technique.

  • This paper proposes an intelligent search modeling using avatar agent. This system consists of some modules such as agent interface, agent management, preprocessor, interface machine. Core-Symbol Database and Spell Checker are related to the preprocessor module and Interface Machine is connected with Best Aggregate Designer. Our avatar agent system does the indexing work that converts user's natural language type sentence to the proper words that is suitable for the specific branch information retrieval. Indexing is one of the preprocessing steps that make it possible to guarantee the specialty of user's input and increases the reliability of the result. It references a database that consists of synonym and specific branch dictionary. The resulting symbol after indexing is used for draft search by the internet search engine. The retrieval page position and link information are stored in the database. We experimented our system with the stock market keyword SAMSUNG_SDI, IBM, and SONY and compared the result with that of Altavista and Google search engine. It showed quite excellent results.

Intelligent Electronic Nose System for Detection of VOCs in Exhaled Breath

  • Significant progress has been made recently in detection of highly sensitive volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using chemical sensors. Combined with the progress in design of micro sensors array and electronic nose systems, these advances enable new applications for detection of extremely low concentrations of breath-related VOCs. State of the art detection technology in turn enables commercial sensor systems for health care applications, with high detection sensitivity and small size, weight and power consumption characteristics. We have been developing an intelligent electronic nose system for detection of VOCs for healthcare breath analysis applications. This paper reviews our contribution to monitoring of respiratory diseases and to diabetic monitoring using an intelligent electronic nose system for detection of low concentration VOCs using breath analysis techniques.

  • This paper aims at developing remote contro system to control and monitor distributed various devices through internet or information communication network. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and rectifier operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time java-environment software is constructed. Also general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, seria communication such as RS-232 and RS-485 is used between controller and applied device.

  • With the increasing availability of medical sensors and Internet of Things(IoT) devices for personal use, considering the interaction with users, it is planned to add intelligent function design to the fashionable jewelry, and develop composite multi-function intelligent jewelry through sensors identification. By means of IoT technology, while possessing communication function of intelligent jewelry, the function of intelligent jewelry can be expanded to the linkage network. In order to rapidly manage the mass data produced by intelligent jewelry sensors based on IoT, an intelligent jewelry system for health management is designed and an ontology model of intelligent jewelry system based on IoT is worked out. After the state of the services through the smart phone application is shown. The application provides a personalized service to the user and to determine the risk to show the guide lines according to the disease.
