지능형로봇 기술개발 현황 (State of R&D Projects for Intelligent Robots)

  • Abstract MOCIE(Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy) handles 6 Projects for Intelligent Robot, whose budget is around 40 Million dollars per year. In this paper we have tried to analyze the state of robot technology of the projects. Each sub-projects has been divided according to the technological classification. Two major projects of Next Generation Growth Engine and 21C Frontier show different state each other. The former is focused on the product while the latter on the technology. Output of 21C Frontier should be linked to the Next Generation Growth Engine, otherwise, it will fail to advance. The project management handles only the quantitative performance such as business results, number of prototype, and number of patents and papers. Technological Capability is essential and it should be managed. This paper proposes efficient classification of robot technology and technology index.

Anti-Reactive Jamming Technology Based on Jamming Utilization

  • Since the existing anti-jamming methods, including intelligent methods, have difficulty against high-speed reactive jamming, we studied a new methodology for jamming utilization instead of avoiding jamming. Different from the existing jamming utilization techniques that harvest energy from the jamming signal as a power supply, our proposed method can take the jamming signal as a favorable factor for frequency detection. Specifically, we design an intelligent differential frequency hopping communication framework (IDFH), which contains two stages of training and communication. We first adopt supervised learning to get the jamming rule during the training stage when the synchronizing sequence is sent. And then, we utilize the jamming rule to improve the frequency detection during the communication stage when the real payload is sent. Simulation results show that the proposed method successfully combated high-speed reactive jamming with different parameters. And the communication performance increases as the power of the jamming signal increase, hence the jamming signal can help users communicate in a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environment.

주요국의 지능로봇 정책 추진 현황과 시사점 (Status and Implications of Policies on Intelligent Robotics in Major Countries)

  • As artificial intelligence advances, major countries are actively promoting the use of intelligent robots to improve industrial productivity and enhance the quality of life. As robots become more capable of interacting with humans, they are being increasingly integrated into the human realm. Accordingly, major countries are actively implementing policies to lead intelligent robot technology and secure market leadership. We examine the status of policies related to intelligent robots in five countries: United States, China, Japan, Germany, and South Korea. These countries apply 1) government-led intelligent robot policies, 2) investments to secure core robot technologies and promote the convergence of artificial intelligence and robots, 3) programs for research and development on intelligent robots, 4) strengthened human-centered human-robot interaction and collaboration, and 5) ethics, stability, and reliability in the development and use of robot technologies. For Korea to compete with major countries and promote the intelligent robot industry, high-risk, high-performance innovation projects should be prioritized.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 대형 선박을 위한 산업용 이더넷 기반의 선박용 제어 네트워크를 설계하고 이를 위한 메시지 시방 등을 분석했다. 대형 선박 환경을 고려해 실시간, 비실시간 데이터를 분류하고 이를 기반으로 이더넷 기반의 선박용 제어망의 구조를 설계하였다. 대형 선박의 제어망은 기기나 센서들은 연결하는 네트워크가 신뢰성과 실시간성을 가져야 한다. 이를 위해 선박 내 제어 기기들의 신뢰성과 실시간성을 만족하는 제어망의 구조 설계 및 성능분석을 하였다.

  • The intelligent auto-tuning method fur a strongly stable adaptive control system of a DC motor with great load inertia variation is proposed. The stable characteristic polynomial that is designed by an optimal servo is specified for the adaptive pole placement control system. The appropriate adaptive control system can be derived, by adjusting automatically the weight of a performance criterion in optimal control by means of the fuzzy inference on the basis of the stability index.

Imbalanced sample fault diagnosis method for rotating machinery in nuclear power plants based on deep convolutional conditional generative adversarial network

  • Rotating machinery is widely applied in important equipment of nuclear power plants (NPPs), such as pumps and valves. The research on intelligent fault diagnosis of rotating machinery is crucial to ensure the safe operation of related equipment in NPPs. However, in practical applications, data-driven fault diagnosis faces the problem of small and imbalanced samples, resulting in low model training efficiency and poor generalization performance. Therefore, a deep convolutional conditional generative adversarial network (DCCGAN) is constructed to mitigate the impact of imbalanced samples on fault diagnosis. First, a conditional generative adversarial model is designed based on convolutional neural networks to effectively augment imbalanced samples. The original sample features can be effectively extracted by the model based on conditional generative adversarial strategy and appropriate number of filters. In addition, high-quality generated samples are ensured through the visualization of model training process and samples features. Then, a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) is designed to extract features of mixed samples and implement intelligent fault diagnosis. Finally, based on multi-fault experimental data of motor and bearing, the performance of DCCGAN model for data augmentation and intelligent fault diagnosis is verified. The proposed method effectively alleviates the problem of imbalanced samples, and shows its application value in intelligent fault diagnosis of actual NPPs.

  • 이동통신 시스템과 T-DMB는 재난경보 방송을 위한 CBS와 AEAS 기능이 정의되어 있다. 그러나 재난 발생으로 실내 공간의 통신 인프라가 불능이 될 경우 실내 공간의 거주자들은 재난경보 수신이 불가능할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 지능형 이동 로봇의 협업 기법을 제안한다. 재난경보 메시지 수신에 성공한 지능형 이동 로봇들은 협력통신 방식을 이용하여 수신에 실패한 지능형 이동 로봇들에게 재난 메시지를 재전송한다. 협력통신의 성능을 높이기 위하여 지능형 이동 로봇들은 각자의 위치 정보를 이용한다.

  • We propose a new PI FLC which utilizes the error(e), change of error( e), and previous control(u(k-1)). It is shown by simulation that the proposed scheme gives better performance in steady state than the conventional PI FLC.

Cascaded-Hop For DeepFake Videos Detection

  • Face manipulation tools represented by Deepfake have threatened the security of people's biological identity information. Particularly, manipulation tools with deep learning technology have brought great challenges to Deepfake detection. There are many solutions for Deepfake detection based on traditional machine learning and advanced deep learning. However, those solutions of detectors almost have problems of poor performance when evaluated on different quality datasets. In this paper, for the sake of making high-quality Deepfake datasets, we provide a preprocessing method based on the image pixel matrix feature to eliminate similar images and the residual channel attention network (RCAN) to resize the scale of images. Significantly, we also describe a Deepfake detector named Cascaded-Hop which is based on the PixelHop++ system and the successive subspace learning (SSL) model. By feeding the preprocessed datasets, Cascaded-Hop achieves a good classification result on different manipulation types and multiple quality datasets. According to the experiment on FaceForensics++ and Celeb-DF, the AUC (area under curve) results of our proposed methods are comparable to the state-of-the-art models.

Seismic deformation behaviors of the soft clay after freezing-thawing

  • With the development and utilization of urban underground space, the artificial ground freezing technology has been widely used in the construction of underground engineering in soft soil areas. The mechanical properties of soft clay changed greatly after freezing and thawing, which affected the seismic performance of underground structures. In this paper, a series of triaxial tests were carried out to study the dynamic response of the freezing-thawing clay under the seismic load considering different dynamic stress amplitudes and different confining pressures. The reduction factor of dynamic shear stress was determined to correct the amplitude of the seismic load. The deformation development mode, the stress-strain relationship and the energy dissipation behavior of the soft clay under the seismic load were analyzed. An empirical model for predicting accumulative plastic strain was proposed and validated considering the loading times, the confining pressures and the dynamic stress amplitudes. The relevant research results can provide a theoretical reference to the seismic design of underground structures in soft clay areas.
