TOC와 6시그마의 통합 전략 (on the Integration Strategy of TOC and Six Sigma)

  • The TOC and Six Sigma are the most attention-getting concepts for managing manufacturing companies. Using the ideas and methods of the TOC, companies can achieve a large reduction of work-in-process and finished good inventories, significant improvement in scheduling performance, and substantial earnings increase. The six sigma approach derives the overall process of selecting the right project based on their potential to improve performance metrics and selecting and training the right people to get the business results. These two concepts have different backgrounds and different viewpoints for production systems. so, if the two concepts integrate each other, the synergy effects to innovate production systems can be expected. The purpose of this paper suggest that integration strategy between Six Sigma and TOC for profit maximization.

A Study on the Categorization of the Strategy Group of Program Provider(PP)

  • The purpose of this study is to categorize Program Provider(PP) outside and inside of the country systematically under the notion that the categorization system of the strategy group for PP is not properly organized. In this paper, not only Commercial PP but also Public PP and Homeshopping PP are also included and PP Company is consistently classified and reorganized as a strategy group in the level of contents, because existing positive study does not entirely deliberate over the characteristics of the PP contents industry inside the country. According to this frame, it is classified into 6 contents group-oriented PP strategy groups using 14 variables including vertical integration, horizontal integration, the sales, advertising revenue, license revenue, total net revenue, the number of employees and history.

오프라인 매장에서의 온라인 채널 통합 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Online Channel Integration in Offline Shops)

  • Due to recent proliferation of the mobile shopping channels, customers increasingly tend to purchase using online channel while experiencing physical products in offline shops. This phenomenon requires traditional offline retailers to consider integrating online channels. In this study, we propose strategic options for the traditional offline retailers regarding the online channel integration, and provide corresponding decision models to maximize the expected profits. We also investigate how the strategic options vary with the product characteristics, by categorizing the products based on inventory cost, demand uncertainty, and fitness to the online channels. By analyzing numerical examples we illustrate how the best online channel integration strategy should be differentiated depending on the product categories.

M&A시 최고경영자의 전략적 리더십과 인적통합전략이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -LG화학의 현대석유화학 인수를 중심으로- (A Study on the Influence of Strategic Leadership, Integration Strategy on Performance after M&A -Focused on the Case of LG Chem's M&A-)

  • 최근 M&A는 기업의 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 중요한 전략적 의사결정이며 이러한 M&A를 추진하는 기업들은 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 M&A의 성공은 흔한 일이 아니며 M&A가 성공하기 위해서는 인수기업의 최고경영자의 리더십과 함께 인적통합전략의 실천으로 구성원에 대한 관리가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 M&A기업들이 궁극적인 성공을 위해서 구성원들의 변화에 대한 저항을 극복하는 것이 중요하다는 인식을 바탕으로, 성공적인 M&A를 마무리하고 성과를 내고 있는 LG화학(현대석유화학 인수) 사례를 중심으로 최고경영자의 리더십과 인적통합전략이 구성원들의 변화저항, 수용 그리고 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 최고경영자의 리더십과 인적통합전략 등 기존 연구를 살펴보았으며 이를 기반으로 LG화학(대산공장) 담당자 및 구성원들과의 인터뷰를 통해 M&A이후 최고경영자의 전략적 리더십과 인적통합이 어떻게 발현되는지를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 인수기업을 빠른 시일 내에 정상화하기 위해서는 최고경영자의 전략적 리더십과 인적통합전략이 중요한 변화동인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 사례연구를 통해 M&A이후 실질적인 통합방안과 리더십 발현방안을 제안하여 향후 M&A를 추진하는 기업들에게 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

  • This paper examines to focus on General Strategy of e-logistics activity for SCM(Supply Chain Management) Build-up, especially the field service logistics integration. And this research analyzes the case study(Business of Strategy Group Unit) Survey involving effective logistics management that leads customer satisfaction, seeking to find out the key elements of competitive policy. Because problems arise from the differences between their goals and structures, which cause each side to feel vulnerable to opportunism or shirking of responsibilities by the other. The goal of a logistics system is to ensure that every family planning client always receives the contraceptives partner wants, and that they are in good condition and have not expired. In order to select, procure, and distribute the right quantities of the right contraceptives, managers of the logistics system must keep informed of the rates of use of each contraceptive and of the quantity of available supplies. As a result, We propose that a firm's e-logistics safe strategy is an important locus innovation and a crucial source of value creation for the firm its suppliers, partners, and customers.

지식경영 전략과 정보기술 역량 간의 적합 관계가 제조기업 혁신에 미치는 영향: 혁신의 공개성 (The Effects of the Fit between Forms of KM Strategy and Types of IT Capability on the Innovations of Manufacturing Firm: Innovation Openness)

  • Purpose This study exploratory investigated the effects of the fit between forms of knowledge management(KM) strategy and types of information technology(IT) capability on the kinds of innovations such as product and process innovations. In this study, the openness of innovations that affects the innovations of a firm is considered. Design/methodology/approach For this empirical study, 104 manufacturing firms' data were finally collected through field survey. For the analysis of the data, cluster analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed. Findings This study demonstrated that when a system-oriented KM strategy is adopted, IT flexibility, which supports the implementation of a system-oriented strategy, is highly employed and utilized. It was also found that under a dynamic KM strategy, both IT integration and IT flexibility are highly employed. For the innovation of a firm, it was found that when a system-oriented strategy is employed and the flexibility of IT is highly adopted, the levels of product innovation are enhanced. Under a dynamic strategy, when the degrees of IT integration and IT flexibility are high, high levels of product and process innovations were empirically found. The impact of innovation openness on the innovations of a firm were partially demonstrated. Finally, the positive impact of the innovations on the improvement of performance in manufacturing firms were demonstrated.

하이브리드 클라우드 구축을 지원하기 위한 스크립트 기반의 클라우드 결합 기법 (Script-based cloud integration mechanism to support hybrid cloud implementation)

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 대중화로 다양한 유형의 클라우드 서비스가 등장하고 있으며, 퍼블릭 클라우드와 프라이빗 클라우드를 결합하여 이들의 단점을 상쇄시킨 배치 모델인 하이브리드 클라우드가 최근 각광 받고 있다. 하지만 서로 다른 클라우드의 결합에 대한 복잡성 문제와 관련 솔루션 부족에 의해 기업이나 조직의 하이브리드 클라우드 도입과 클라우드 전략 확보가 늦춰지고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 결합 복잡성 문제 해결을 위한 클라우드 결합기법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 클라우드 결합 기법은 스크립트 기반으로 클라우드 결합을 해결하며, 하이브리드 클라우드 기능을 실현하는 결합 스크립트와 이를 생성, 실행하는 프로세스, 소프트웨어 디자인 패턴을 적용한 스크립트 생성 모델로 구성되어 있다. 제시된 결합 기법을 이용하면 다양한 클라우드 서비스를 결합하여 사용자의 요구에 맞는 스크립트를 빠르게 생성할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 하이브리드 클라우드의 도입과 클라우드 전략 확보를 촉진시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Study on the Factors Associated with the Success of CRM in the Insurance Company

  • This paper studied the theory and methodology of CRM for insurance business and perform empirical analysis to verify causes of success. It considered five factors as variables to explain success of CRM which are (1) Integration through the partnership among organization and members. (2) Utilization of customers' information. (3) Strategy through marketing channel and interaction with customers. (4) Investment and IT infrastructure to construct CRM system. (5) Interaction among organizations for CRM. The success is defined as four terms; effectiveness of organization, curtailment of cost, improvement of customer service and sale of insurance.

  • A PWM switching control strategy based on instantaneous integration concept for reducing hamonic components of inverter system with fluctuating input voltage is presented. Applying this strategy to single phase full bridge PWM inverter through bipolor switching method and unipolor switching method, reduction of hamonic components of output voltage and current is demonstrated through simulation. The system operation is examined and confirmed by experiments.

시스템 통합의 발전방향 (The Future Directions for System Integration)

  • Economy of scale would be one of the most important issues among organizations pursuing system integration projects. Cerntainly there are other benefits than cost reduction for achieving system integration. However. these benefits could not be achieved automatically. if system integration projects were undertaken without thoughtful planning. In this paper. we propose a framework for an effective system integration by (1) defining the objects(user interface. database. application. and server) and (2) considering the level of integration(physical integration and rational integration). Therefore. 6 types of integration can be considered. Five case studies of domestic organizations were reviewed to suggest various issues and solutions. Based on our case studies. we discovered that five integration types - EIP. EAI. ERP. BPM and System Reconsolidation - were most widely used.
