태양광 발전의 성능향상을 위한 PV/T 시스템 개발 (Development of PV/T for Performance Improvement of Photovoltaic System)

  • This paper proposes photovoltaic thermal hybrid module to get the electrical and Thermal performance of building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system. BIPV system is decreased the system efficiency because output of PV is decreased by the thermal rising on generating. In order to improve the efficiency of BIPV module, water cooling system is applied and generated thermal is used the warm water system. Water cooling system uses the flux control algorithm considering water temperature and power loss. Electrical and thermal performance of proposed photovoltaic thermal hybrid module is confirmed through the actual experiment and herby proved the valid of this paper.

뉴스 비디오의 내용기반 검색을 위한 자동 인덱싱 (Automatic Indexing for the Content-based Retrieval of News Video)

  • 본 논문은 내용에 기반한 뉴스 비디오의 인덱싱과 검색을 위한 통합된 해결책을 제안한다. 핸재 일반적인 비디오의 자동 인덱싱은 불가능하지만 뉴스 비디오와 같은 구조가 명확한 경우는 가능하다. 이러한 뉴스의 구조화된 지식을 이용하여 키 프레임들을 자동 추출하기 위해서 제안된 우리의 모델은 뉴스사건 분할, 자막 인식, 검색 브라우저 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 첫 번째로 뉴스사건의 분할 모듈은 얼굴인식에 기반하여 사건의 중심인 앵커 장면을 인식하고 앵커 장면의 공간적 정보를 이용하여 뉴스사건을 분할한다. 다음으로 뉴스아이콘을 추출한다. 자막인식 모듈은 먼저 자막의 특성을 이용하여 자막 프레임을 검출하고 분리병합 방법을 이용하여 문자열을 추출한다. 다음으로 문자인식기(OCR)를 이용하여 문자인식을 한다. 마지막으로 검색 브라우저 모듈은 다양한 검색 방법이 가능하도록 하였다.

  • In this two-part paper, a virtual machine tool (VMT) is presented. In part 1, the analytical foundation of a virtual machining system, envisioned as the foundation for a comprehensive simulation environment capable of predicting the outcome of cutting processes, is developed. The VMT system purposes to experience the pseudo-real machining before real cutting with a CNC machine tool, to provide the proper cutting conditions for process planners, and to compensate or control the machining process in terms of the productivity and attributes of products. The attributes can be characterized with the machined surface error, dimensional accuracy, roughness, integrity and so forth. The main components of the VMT are cutting process, application, thermal behavior and feed drive modules. In part 1, the cutting process module is presented. The proposed models were verified experimentally and gave significantly better prediction results than any other method. The thermal behavior and feed drive modules are developed in part 2 paper. The developed models are integrated as a comprehensive software environment in part 2 paper.

  • 적외선을 이용한 수/발광 다이오드에 집적소자를 혼합한 Hybrid형 단거리 광무선 통신용 원칩모듈을 개발하였다. 발광다이오드는 850nm 의 적외선파장을 30$^{\circ}$지향각을 갖는 AlGaAs계 고속신호용으로서 전파지연이 60 ns 이며, PIN 포토다이오드는 Si계 반도체 수광소자로써 450-1050nm의 파장대에서 수광 흡수율이 양호하고 필터겸용 블록 에포시렌즈를 750nm 파장 저역대를 여과시켰다. 데이터 전송속도는 115.2 kbps이며 IrDA1.0 SIR 표준조건에서 동작이 양호함을 확인하였다.

SAE J1939 프로토콜기반 Gateway 제어모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study of Gateway Control Module Using SAE J1939 Protocol)

  • This study presents the development of Gateway Control Module using SAE J1939 protocol for the commercial vehicles. Presently, the load rate of CAN bus is increased by the single network composition and addition of new ECUs for development of intelligent vehicles. Because the embedded system of the integrated network control function has the errors of the CAN bus caused by the increase of ECU, it is needed for development of commercial vehicles. Also, this study presents the development of smart functions that can diagnosis CAN bus errors, fault diagnosis of ECU and basic function that arbitrates CAN bus between ECUs of commercial vehicle. GCM was designed for 4channel separation about Gateway function as solution of load rate decrease and smart functions. HILS(Hardware in the loop simulation)system that can achieve simulation about CAN Messages of all systems on vehicle was applied to evaluate performance and verification of all functions and performance. The load rate on CAN bus was decreased at using functions what was delivery, block and process of GCM. Through this, it was enabled to organize systematic architecture for gateway.

  • 연안환경요소를 효과적으로 모니터링하기 위하여 모델링 결과와 관측결과를 통합하여 제공하는 연안환경정보 제공 시스템이 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템은 실시간 관측 자료를 관리하기 위한 모니터링 모듈, 환경요소를 수치모의할 수 있는 모델링 모듈, 그리고 모니터링과 모델링된 결과를 그래픽으로 볼 수 있는 후처리 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 시스템 개발의 목적은 사용자가 쉽고, 편리하게 연안 환경요소에 대한 정보를 관찰할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 개발된 시스템을 활용하면, 연안환경요소에 대한 신속한 평가, 빠른 모니터링이 가능하여, 궁극적으로 환경오염과 자연재해로 인한 피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것이다.

Jini Surrogate에 기반한 광대역 PLC 홈 제어기 개발 (Development of the Jini Surrogate-based Broadband PLC Home Controller)

  • The home network system guarantees families a safe, economical, socially integrated and healthy life by using information appliances. And it provides a family with domestic safety, control of instruments, controllable energy and health monitoring by connecting to home appliances. This study designs the broadband PLC home controller using broadband PLC(Power Line Communication) technology which can save much cost at a network infrastructure by using the existing power line at home. The broadband PLC home controller consists of the broadband PLC module, the embedded main controller module and I/O module. The broadband PLC home controller can control various domestic appliances such as an auto door-lock, a boiler, an oven, etc., because it has various I/O specifications. In this study, selected home network middleware for the broadband PLC home controller is Jini surrogate using Jini technology designed by means of access to easily a home network system without a limitation of the devices. And a client application program is supported java servlet program to manage and monitor the broadband PLC home controller via web browser of a PC or a PDA, etc. Finally, for an application, we implemented and tested a home security system using one broadband PLC home controller.

Ka-Band용 MMIC VCO의 설계 및 제작 (Ka-Band MMIC VCO Design and its Fabrication)

  • 소형화, 집적화된 Ka-band용 MMIC VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator)를 설계 및 제작하였다. Clapp-Gouriet형 오실레이션 방식을 이용하여 VCO를 직접 설계 및 제작하였고, 또한 이를 별도로 제작한 Alumina 기판과 함께 Carrier 위에서 조립 후 모듈화하였다. 결과적으로 MMIC로 구성된 Ka-band의 VCO 모듈은 출력 10dBm, Bandwidth 400MHz, phase noise -90dBc/Hz@1MHz까지의 성능을 보이면서 우수한 성능을 가짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The roof among the outer surfaces of buildings is an optimum place to install PV since it is the best favorable part in the building to be exposed to day light. Especially, in case of module of BIPV for Roof, it should have essentially the functions of both electricity generation and roof-finish as a construction material. The followings are the results of the study which has analyzed the architectural conditions and applications thereof at the job site. -The aesthetic function of BIPV module is very important because the roof, mostly located at the top of the buildings, is easily recognized and affects outer interior design of the building a lot. -The heat proof of BIPV for Roof could affect the energy consumption through the roof having a wide area. -For architectural condition to the weather, the roof has to ensure the stability of the weather, humidity proof, and airtightness to the wind respectively. -For architectural condition of the structure, endurance by physical power such as stability of both combining and fixing and transfer of load should be ensured. -For residents protection, it has also architectural functions to secure for the space and shield ozone, UV and noxious substances. -Through its practical applications, It is already confirmed that there are various types of BIPV modules overseas and its application has been proved successfully.

Current Sensorless MPPT Control Method for Dual-Mode PV Module-Type Interleaved Flyback Inverters

  • This paper presents a current sensorless maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control method for dual-mode photovoltaic (PV) module-type interleaved flyback inverters (ILFIs). This system, called the MIC (Module Integrated Converter), has been recently studied in small PV power generation systems. Because the MIC is an inverter connected to one or two PV arrays, the power system is not affected by problems with other inverters. However, since the each PV array requires an inverter, there is a disadvantage that the initial installation cost is increased. To overcome this disadvantage, this paper uses a flyback inverter topology. A flyback inverter topology has an advantage in terms of cost because it uses fewer parts than the other transformer inverter topologies. The MPPT control method is essential in PV power generation systems. For the MPPT control method, expensive dc voltage and current sensors are used in the MIC system. In this paper, a MPPT control method without current sensor where the input current is calculated by a simple equation is proposed. This paper also deals with dual-mode control. Simulations and experiments are carried out to verify the performance and effectiveness of the proposed current sensorless MPPT control method on a 110 [W] prototype.
