ARMA 모형선정을 위한 통합된 신경망 시스템의 설계 (Design of An Integrated Neural Network System for ARMA Model Identification)

  • In this paper, our concern is the artificial neural network-based patten classification, when can resolve the difficulties in the Autoregressive Moving Average(ARMA) model identification problem To effectively classify a time series into an approriate ARMA model, we adopt the Multi-layered Backpropagation Network (MLBPN) as a pattern classifier, and Extended Sample Autocorrelation Function (ESACF) as a feature extractor. To improve the classification power of MLBPN's we suggest an integrated neural network system which consists of an AR Network and many small-sized MA Networks. The output of AR Network which will gives the MA order. A step-by-step training strategy is also suggested so that the learned MLBPN's can effectively ESACF patterns contaminated by the high level of noises. The experiment with the artificially generated test data and real world data showed the promising results. Our approach, combined with a statistical parameter estimation method, will provide a way to the automation of ARMA modeling.

  • Digital Manufacturing is a technology to facilitate effective product developments and agile productions by digital environments representing the physical and logical schema and the behavior of real manufacturing system including manufacturing resources, processes and products. A digital virtual factory as a well-designed and integrated environment is essential for successful applications of this technology. In this research, we constructed a sophisticated digital virtual factory by measuring and 3-D CAD modeling using parametric methods. Specific parameters of each objects were decided by object-oriented schema of the digital factory. It is expected that this method is very useful for constructions of a digital factory, and helps to manage diverse information and re-use 3D models.

  • 본 연구는 UML을 이용해 유스케이스에 의한 순차 다이어그램을 도출하여 클래스 다이어그램을 만든후 그 클래스 다이어그램에 의해서 XML 모델링과 데이터 모델링을 구현하고자 한다. XML 모델링을 위해 UML 클래스를 XML 문서로 변환시키는 가이드라인을 제시하고, 제시한 방법에 파라 UML 클래스를 XML DTD로 도출하는 예를 보일 것이며, 한편 데이터 모델링은 UML클래스를 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마와 객체-관계 데이터베이스 스키마 그리고 객체지향 데이터베이스 스키마로 변환시키기 위한 통합 설계 변환 방법을 제시하며, 제시한 변환 방법에 따라 각각의 데이터베이스 스키마를 구현했다.

  • Using the hydraulic and numerical model of semi-enclosed bay (Chinhae Bay), the efficiencies of flow-control structures on the seawater-circulation in the inner bay were investigated. Expecially, this study was confirmed the effectiveness of the flow-control structures at the mouth and narrow channel of Chinhae Bay through the experiments. The system of flow-control structures could enhance the water exchange improvement appropriately. The results of this study can be used as the long-term and integrated environmental impact assessment model in the inner bay.

An Approach to Composing a Structured Model from Validated Submodels

  • Structured modeling provides a formal mathematical framework, language, and computer-based environment for conceiving, representing, and manipulating a wide variety of model. It provides a natural framework for integrated modeling owing to its explicit representation power for computational dependencies among submodles. Nevertheless, it doesn't seem to offer a systematic way of composing a structured model from submodels. In order to develop a systematic way, this paper discusses three key issues : (1) Genus structure for model composition, (2) Storage of structured models, and (3) Integration of structured models. To formalize and visualize the approach, a programming module is developed to implemented the step-by-step integration.

GCAM을 이용한 국내 수송부문 모델링 (Modeling Domestic Transportation Sector Using Global Change Assessment Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 통합모형인 GCAM을 활용한 국내수송부문을 모델링에 대해 논의한다. GCAM은 IPCC 5차 보고서 평가에도 활용된, 국제적으로 널리 쓰이는 모형이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이를 국내수송부문에 그대로 적용하는 데 상당한 문제가 있다. 첫째, GCAM의 기준년도(2010년) 수송 서비스수요가 국가통계와 일치하지 않다는 점. 둘째, 수송부문 시뮬레이션 결과가 관련 부문별 서비스수요의 과거추이를 제대로 반영하고 못하고 있다는 점이다. GCAM을 활용한 국내 수송부문 모델링에서 가장 중요하게 영향을 미치는 수송서비스수요 항등식을 상세히 점검함으로써, 기준년도의 서비스수요를 국가통계와 일치시키도록 노력하였다. 또 GCAM의 시뮬레이션 결과가 과거 통계추이를 제대로 반영할 수 있도록 기존모형을 점검, 수정하였다. 점검 및 수정결과, 기존 GCAM의 시뮬레이션 결과와 어떤 부분에서 문제가 있는지, 또 수송부문별 과거 서비스 수요의 추이가 어떻게 제대로 반영되고 있는지를 상세히 보고하였다. 본 연구는 향후 수송부문의 정책, 기술평가 및 온실가스저감 대책 마련 등을 위한 시나리오 분석의 기본분석도구로 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

  • 연안환경요소를 효과적으로 모니터링하기 위하여 모델링 결과와 관측결과를 통합하여 제공하는 연안환경정보 제공 시스템이 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템은 실시간 관측 자료를 관리하기 위한 모니터링 모듈, 환경요소를 수치모의할 수 있는 모델링 모듈, 그리고 모니터링과 모델링된 결과를 그래픽으로 볼 수 있는 후처리 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 시스템 개발의 목적은 사용자가 쉽고, 편리하게 연안 환경요소에 대한 정보를 관찰할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 개발된 시스템을 활용하면, 연안환경요소에 대한 신속한 평가, 빠른 모니터링이 가능하여, 궁극적으로 환경오염과 자연재해로 인한 피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것이다.

  • In manufacturing companies, different types of production have been developed based on diverse production strategies and differentiated technologies. The production systems have become smart, factories are filled with unmanned manufacturing lines, and sustainable manufacturing technologies are under development. Nowadays, the digital manufacturing technology is being adopted and used in manufacturing industries. When this technology is applied, a lot of efforts, time and cost are required and training professionals in-house is limited. In this paper, we introduce e-FEED system (electronic based Front End Engineering and Design) that is the integrated design and analysis system for optimized manufacturing line development on virtual environment. This system provides the functions that can be designed easily using library and template based on standardized modules and analyzed automatically the logistic and capacity simulation by one-click and verified the result using visual reports. Also, we can review the factory layout using automatically created 3D virtual factory and increase the knowledge reuse by e-FEED system.
