STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 과학수업이 초등학생의 창의성과 과학교과 흥미도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Science Lessons Applying STEAM Education Program on the Creativity and Interest Levels of Elementary Students)

  • 과학 기술 경쟁 시대라는 시대적 흐름에 따라 세계 주요 국가들이 STEAM 교육에 주목하고 있다. 우리나라 과학교육의 목적이 과학적 소양을 지닌 창의적 인재 육성이라는 점에서 보면 STEAM 교육의 필요성은 부정할 수 없는 사실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 과학 교과에서 활동과 흥미를 고려한 주제 중심의 STEAM 통합교육 프로그램을 개발하여 초등학생의 창의성 및 과학교과 흥미도에 어떤 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 STEAM 교육 프로그램은 6학년 각 단원별 마무리 활동에 단원 정리 및 심화 보충활동으로 적용할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 주제별 활동중심의 프로그램으로 학생들의 과학 학습을 통해서 창의성 및 과학교과 흥미도를 높이는데 주안점을 두었다. 개발한 STEAM 프로그램을 J도내 3개 초등학교 학생들에게 사전 사후에 투입한 결과, 실험 집단은 비교 집단에 비해 초등학생들의 창의성 및 과학 교과 흥미도가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 따라서 지속적이며 체계적인 STEAM 프로그램의 개발이 요구되며, 더 나아가서는 초등학교 전 학년에 걸쳐 적용할 수 있는 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하고 교육현장에서 적극적으로 활용하려는 노력이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

물리치료학에서의 PBL 학습교재 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Implementation of Problem-Based Learning Package in Physical Therapy)

  • Within physical therapy education, there has been increased attention to curricula and course that emphasize problem solving, clinical reasoning, and synthesis of information across traditional discipline-specific boundaries. This article describes the development implementation, and outcomes of a problem-based learning course in Physical therapy. The course was designed to help students to integrate the various elements of a physical therapy curriculum and to enhance their abilities to respond to an ever-changing health care environment. An evaluation of the course by the first 50 students who completed it revealed both strengths and weaknesses. Students responded that the course enhanced their professional behavior, including interpersonal communication skills, team work, and follow-through with professional responsibilities. The learning package was developed by the authors and implemented to a college students during three weeks of the first semester of 2001. Most studies which conducted PBL module development were short period or temporary PBL package application and evaluation rather than a whole semester's. While, this study carried on partial integrated PBL curriculum development and application with recomposing content of the two subjects to one subject Physical therapy which includes four PBL packages. This package was developed from a simple concept to complex and partial integrated PBL curriculum application systematically variable learning methods such as discussion, practice, lecture, video. There are 2 classes, each class has 25 students, in the college. Each class has 5 small groups consisting 5 students. Two tutors proceeded discussion charging each class also, they used multiple methods and materials like tutorials, self-directed learning, lecture, and video. The package is 5 grades and 5 hours per week and the rate of discussion, lecture is 4, 1 respectively. One of the most change is the increase of interaction between students and tutors. Whenever students need information and suggestion, they can visit tutors who provide reading materials and guide for the direction of self learning. Therefore, this study describes the PBL package development process and application during one semester recomposing contents of two subjects to Physical therapy concepts. Besides, it will contribute to active application of existing each subject to tutors who intend to convert as PBL methods. The study has significant meaning to show potentiality of partially integrated PBL application, using systematic PBL package development from two subjects contents. However, when students' need of yearning is over the extent of Introduction of Physical therapy and Rehabilitation medicine, tutors should set learning extent. So, there is limitation to attain completely integrated PBL education within one subject, therefore, it is high lighted to proceed development of integrated curriculum to maximize learning effects of PBL. It is exected that partial integrated PBL package development and application will distribute to prosper excellent physiotherapist in practice.

통합 체질진단 툴 β-version의 웹기반 응용프로그램 (The Web Application of Integrated Sasang Constitutional Diagnosis β-version)

  • 1. Objectives : It is very important to classify people into Sasang constitution correctly in SCM. There have been many researches for this and several tools have been developed for diagnosis of Sasang constitution. In our study, we introduce a new web application for Integrated Sasang Constitutional Diagnosis (ISCD) ${\beta}$-version and algorithm on the base of face, body shape, voice and questionnaire. 2. Development : The web application of ISCD ${\beta}$-version was designed to be used easily for subject, staffs, and oriental medical doctors. For this purpose, we developed a web-application of Integrated Sasang Constitutional Diagnosis ${\beta}$-version using mysql database, tomcat web system, JSP, JAVA, and C++ languages. 3. Current State : The ISCD ${\beta}$-version could be accessed at http://210.218.196.115/SDT/login.jsp. The ISCD ${\beta}$-version consisted of 3 parts, for staffs, subject and oriental medical doctors. The system has been managed since February 2011. Currently 7 oriental hospitals have used the system and 1,439 subjects have been diagnosed by the system. 4. Conclusion and future work : Although many researchers have tried to develop a system or an algorithm for diagnosis of subject's constitution, we could have not used the system based on objective information of human body type, characters, symptoms. In this study, we describe a web application of objective diagnosis algorithm as ISCD ${\beta}$-version. This system may help an oriental medical doctors to make a decision of Sasang constitutional diagnosis easily and correctly.

  • Comparative Study on Historical Changes of Practical Arts Education and Technology-Home Economics Education in Korea and Japan This dissertation is a comparative study on Practical Arts(Home Economics) Education and Technology-Home Economics Education of Korea and Japan. I established two research objectives to conduct the research : To understand the differences in historical changes in Practical Arts Education and Technology-Home Economics of the two countries: And to grope for the new direction of Home Economics Education. Research findings are as follows : Japan was also ahead of Korea for about two decades in terms of putting Home Economics Education in practice at elementary schools. Practical Arts Education Started to emerge in Elementary school system in 1955, which had been originated in vocational education before the year 1945 in Korean However, from the 3th curriculum Practical Arts Education Curriculum put emphasis on home lives. Regarding the characteristics of education from the perspectives of historical changes at Korean Junior-high schools after the year 1945. Home Economics Education had been regarded as “female subject”until the 1980s and was integrated into regular curricula for co-education in the middle of the 1990s. when the 6th Curriculum was activated. Technology-Home Economics started to emerge in Japan in 1962. while the subject Home Economics Education was integrated into curricula for males in high school as well in 1989. In the Korean 7th Curriculum, the combined subject Technology-Home Economics is divided into three categories. A remarkable difference from japanese Technology-Home Economics is that korean curriculum has no division between required and elective. In conclusion. I observe that both Korean and Japanese curricula for Home Economics Education were originated in Confucianism. However, unlike Korean situation, current Japanese Home Economics Education takes a significant part as a continuing and required subject for both primary and secondary co-education.

남.북한 중학교 과학과 교육과정 및 교과서 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of the Science Curriculums and Textbooks of Middle School in South and North Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare and analyse the subject organization and teaching units of middle school science curriculums and science textbooks, by studying the organization of subject matter and content scope and level of middle school science subject in South and North Korea. As a result of this study, the composition, scope, and level of content between middle school science textbooks in South and North Korea were similar. However, the study found that science education objectives, separated science curriculum subject organization, economical efficiency weighted format and organization of science subject matter, result-centered experiments, the enlightenment of Kim Ilsung and his son in North Korea science education were very far from the desirable direction of science education. Therefore, the view on level-based curriculum and organization of the science curriculum should be integrated, and preparation of student-centered organization of textbooks and expansion of science-technology-society content is needed before unification. And also, the united Korea science curriculum shouldn't simply compromise or neutralize between middle school science curriculum in South and North Korea. They should make a future-oriented plan for information and globalism society.

건물일체형 지열히트펌프시스템의 난방 성능 분석 (Heating Performance Analysis of Building Integrated Geothermal System)

  • Ground source heat pump is a central heating and cooling system that pumps heat to or from the ground. Building Integrated Geothermal system used in this experiment is one of the Ground Source Heat Pump Systems which utilize energy pile. The purpose of this study is to evaluate heating performance of the system. The building is a low-energy experiment apartment in Yonsei University Songdo Campus and the subject is one of the energy reduced houses in this apartment. In the experiment, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature and the inlet and outlet temperature of ground heat exchanger and subject model, were measured. Then the heat pump's Coefficient of performance(COP) of the heat pump was calculated. As a result, the COP of heat pump is 4-5. Although the depth of the ground heat exchanger in this experiment is shallower than usual heat exchanger, the result of heating performance of this system was good as well.

자유학기제 도입에 따른 기술.가정 교과통합 진로교육 운용 방안 - 가정 교과 영역을 중심으로 - (Career Education in Technology.Home Economics Education and Application Plan in Free Learning Semester - Focus on Home Economics education Unit -)

  • 본 연구는 자유학기제 시행에 따라 실과(기술 가정)에서 진로교육의 활성화 방안으로서 가정교과통합에 따른 진로교육의 타당성과 방향을 탐색하고 이를 활성화하기 위한 진로교육 방향 및 모형을 제시하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 자유학기제의 의미와 동향, 교과통합 진로교육의 동향과 실과(기술 가정)에서 교육과정 분석 및 가정과교육에서의 진로교육 연구의 동향을 탐색하였다. 이를 통해 발견하게 된 것은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자유학기제의 의미의 모호성에도 불구하고 생애 전반에 걸친 진로교육의 중요성에 대한 요구가 증가함으로 진로교육은 확대되어 갈 것이라는 것이다. 둘째, 교과를 배제한 진로교육은 실효성에 문제가 있으므로, 교과를 중심으로 한 진로교육인 교과통합 진로교육의 중요성이 더 중요해질 것이라는 것이다. 셋째, 핵심 성취기준에 따라 실과(기술 가정)에서의 교과통합 진로교육에서의 핵심성취기준을 추출하는 것이 중요함을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 자유학기제에서의 가정교과의 진로교육 방향 및 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 제한점은 자유학기제의 개념의 모호성에 따른 실천의 모호성의 문제를 제기하고 이를 해결하기 위한 교수 학습 과정 모형을 학교 현장에 적용하지 못하여 그 실효성을 확인하지 못했다는 점이다. 그러나 본 연구는 자유학기제의 실행에 앞서 교과 내에서의 진로교육 활성화 방안을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있을 것이다.

  • In Daegu, spread works of photovoltaic have were carrying out from a part of the solar city Daegu but, actual results have were insignificant. According to this study, it analyzed actual conditions of four building integrated photovoltaic system proper to the subject of investigation in Daegu City, in order to investigate the cause of inactive spread of building integrated photovoltaic system. After analyzing of actual state and performance, this study will present not only economic evaluation that Is problem of spread but also, environment evaluation by estimating to have an effect on greenhouse gas reduction.

교과융합 정보윤리교육 프로그램의 개발과 효과 분석 (A study of the effect analysis and development of informatics ethics education program based on subject integrations)

  • 과학기술의 발달에 따라 정보통신기술의 활용에 따른 역기능이 사회적 문제가 되고 있고 이에 따라 초 중등학교 교육과정에서 정보윤리를 강화해야 한다는 사회적 요구가 크다. 정보윤리교육의 내용은 범교과 수준의 교육과정에서 다루어지도록 되어 있으나 정보윤리에 관한 총체적인 교육과정이 마련되어 있지 않고, 일부 선택 교과의 단원 안에 편성되어 있다. 따라서 교과별로 정보윤리교육 내용의 중복 현상이 발생하고 있으며, 중등학교의 경우 정보윤리교육을 다루는 교과의 대부분이 선택과목으로 되어 있어 학생에 따라 정보윤리교육을 받지 못하는 경우도 생긴다. 본 연구에서는 정보윤리교육의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 교과 통합 교육과정 모델과 사이버 윤리 교육모델에 기초한 교과융합 정보윤리교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 정보윤리교육 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 고등학교 1학년 291명을 대상으로 5개월 동안 실시한 결과 정보윤리 이해도 지수가 현저히 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 정보윤리교육의 기존 문제점을 구조적으로 안고 있는 2015년 개정 교육과정의 정보윤리교육을 위해 본 교육프로그램의 사용을 제안한다.

통합에서 독립으로, 이스라엘 컴퓨터과학 교과의 진화 (From integration to independence, the evolution of computer science subject in Israel)

  • 국가 차원에서 교육과정을 이해하는 것은 해당 교과가 어느 정도의 위상을 갖고 있는지를 확인하는 것이다. 본 연구는 창의 인재 양성의 선두주자인 이스라엘의 교육과정과, 컴퓨터과학 교육의 현황을 분석하고, 우리나라 컴퓨터과학 교육의 방향에 대한 성찰을 제시하기 위한 목적이 있다. 이스라엘의 컴퓨터과학 교육은 중학교에서는 자연과학/기술 교과에 통합된 형태로, 고등학교에서는 독립교과로서 위상을 유지하고 있다. 2011년에는 중학교 컴퓨터과학 교육과정이 개발되면서 통합에서 독립교과로 변화하고 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라의 컴퓨터과학 교육 또한 통합과 독립의 관점에서 교과의 위상이 논의되어야 함을 제시하였다.
