  • The purpose of this study was to explore employees' experiences of integrated services in Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers in Seoul. In-depth interviews were conducted with seven employees, including managers and heads of Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers. The interviews identified three themes: the direction of integrated service, the characteristics of the integration process, and the challenges of integrated service. For the direction of integrated service, the participants identified the integration center as a professional family services organization that provided customized services for different types of families. During the integration process, employees found it difficult to provide integrated services because few guidelines existed on operating an integration center that provided services to families with different characteristics and needs. However, they also explained positive aspects of integration, such as strengthening the business's capacity by expanding the organization. To improve integrated service, employees emphasized the expertise and appropriateness of the family services over the efficiency of the integration centers. They also stressed expansion as a role of a professional family services organization. These findings suggested that establishing a clear direction for integrated service as well as the roles of administrative support agencies is important for activating integrated services.

  • This study aims to examine the effect of integrated health and welfare(IHW) services on medical use and medical expenses in Korean Veteran Hospitals. Data on the volume of medical use and medical expenses were collected from two patient groups of 5 Veterans' Hospitals: the beneficiary group who has received IHW services and the non-beneficiary group who has not. Each group was composed of 265 patients respectively. The results of the study revealed that the volume of home nursing services, home rehabilitation services, ambulatory services have increased significantly, whereas the average length of stay, number of using emergency services, and average medical expenses have decreased after receiving integrated health services in the beneficiary group. In contrast, the non-beneficiary group showed much more increase both in the volume of inpatient and outpatient services, as well as the average medical expenses, compared to those of the beneficiary group. This results imply that the provision of IHW services have positive impacts on the enhancing the effectiveness of the medical resources utilization for the veteran patients.

  • The Purpose of this study was to develop a comprehensive and integrated child-care services model for children both with and without disabilities. The comprehensive perspective included several dimensions such as education, child welfare, family welfare, and community welfare. Survey research based on theories and models regarding the integrated child-care services was carried out to determine the overall needs of child-care institutions, parents, and community members. The results revealed the need for development in the following three areas: (1) edu-care curriculums for integrated programs, (2) programs for supporting family members who have disabilities children, and (3) improved community members' perception about integrated child-care services. A model was developed for fulfil these identified needs.

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the communication ability, communication type and satisfaction of nursing service on the re-use intention of nursing and care integration services of the hospital. The research subjects were 291 patients who were hospitalized for more than 3 days in the integrated nursing and care service center. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. As a result of the study, the variables that significantly affect the reuse of integrated nursing services in hospitals were satisfaction with nursing services and integrated services. The explanatory power of these variables was 63.4%. Therefore, to increase the intention to re-use integrated nursing and care services of the hospitals, efforts are needed to increase the satisfaction of nursing services. And research on other variables that affect the guarantee is highly recommended.

  • The purpose of this study focused on community role about Integrated child edu-care services. First, this study was carried out to determine the needs of teachers, parents about Community members. Second, this study was to examine community members' perception and support intention about Integrated child care services. The subjects were 124 teachers in child care center, 88 preschoolers with disabilities' parents, 172 community members. The major findings were as follows: (1) The result revealed parents and teachers's needs for community members support. (2) Community members' perception about Integrated child care services revealed greatly positive on every fields, (3) community members' support intention for the integrated chid care revealed very positive.

  • Roaming authentication protocol is widely used in wireless network which can enable a seamless service for the mobile users. However, the classical approach requires the home server's participation during the authentication between the mobile user and the foreign server. So the more the roaming requests are performed the heavier burden will be on the home server. In this paper, we propose a new roaming authentication framework for wireless communication without the home server's participation. The new roaming authentication protocol in the new framework takes advantage of the ID-based cryptography and provides user anonymity. It has good performance compared with the roaming authentication protocols whose authentication do not need the home server's participation in terms of security and computation costs. Moreover, a new User-to-User authentication protocol in the new framework is also present. All the authentications proposed in this paper can be regarded as a common construction and can be applied to various kinds of wireless networks such as Cellular Networks, Wireless Mesh Networks and Vehicle Networks.

  • In this paper, we study the design of network coding for the generalized transmit scheme in multiple input multiple output Y channel, where K users wish to exchange specified and shared information with each other within two slots. Signal space alignment at each user and the relay is carefully constructed to ensure that the signals from the same user pair are grouped together. The cross-pair interference can be canceled during both multiple accessing channel phase and broadcasting channel phase. The proposed signal processing scheme achieves the degrees of freedom of ${\eta}(K)=K^2$ with fewer user antennas.

  • To serve the growing demand of the bidirectional information exchange, we propose a single relay selection (RS) scheme for physical-layer network coding (PNC) in a bidirectional cooperative network consisting of two sources and multiple relays. This RS scheme selects a single best relay by maximizing the bottleneck of the capacity region of both information flows in the bidirectional network. We show that the proposed RS rule minimizes the outage probability and that it can be used as a performance benchmark for any RS rules with PNC. We derive a closed-form exact expression of the outage probability for the proposed RS rule and show that it achieves full diversity gain. Finally, numerical results demonstrate the validity of our analysis.

  • This letter considers the problem of resource sharing among a relay and multiple user nodes in cooperative transmission networks. We formulate this problem as a sellers' market competition and use a noncooperative game to jointly consider the benefits of the relay and the users. We also develop a distributed algorithm to search the Nash equilibrium, the solution of the game. The convergence of the proposed algorithm is analyzed. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed game can stimulate cooperative diversity among the selfish user nodes and coordinate resource allocation among the user nodes effectively.

  • Web services are being recognized as the efficient way to integrate the distributed applications on the web based on the web standards such as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Recently, BPEL4WS is suggested as a standard integration model language for web services to integrate them efficiently. The recent studies of web service integration are focused on the comparability among the services, process identification and tracing, and automation, However, little or no effort has been dedicated to the reusability, extensibility on the business process integrated services and how to allocate the services dynamically, So, in this paper, we propose how to increase the reusability and extensibility of integrated structure when services are integrated using BPEL4WS, and how to allocate and use the services dynamically. Also, we propose the framework of the composition of web services for the efficient use of suggested integrated structure.
