  • Active attention and effort are needed to develop an integrated water management system in response to climate change. In this study, it proposed models for cross-use of agricultural water and river maintenance water using sewage treatment water as an integrated water management system for the Yeongsan River. The impact of the integrated water management models was assessed by applying the concept of Nexus, which is being presented worldwide for sustainable resource management. The target year was set for 2030 and quantitatively analyzed water, energy, land use and carbon emissions and resource availability index by integrated water management models was calculated by applying maximum usable amount by resource. An integrated water management system evaluation model using the Nexus concept developed in this study can play a role that can be viewed in a variety of ways: security and environmental impact assessment of other resources. The results of this research will be used as a foundation for the field of in the establishment of a policy decision support system to evaluate various security policies, as we analyzed changes in other factors according to changes in individual components, taking into account the associations between water, energy, food, and carbon resources. In future studies, additional sub-models need to be built that can be applied flexibly to changes in the future timing of the inter-resource relationship components.

Interference-Limited Dynamic Resource Management for an Integrated Satellite/Terrestrial System

  • An integrated multi-beam satellite and multi-cell terrestrial system is an attractive means for highly efficient communication due to the fact that the two components (satellite and terrestrial) make the most of each other's resources. In this paper, a terrestrial component reuses a satellite's resources under the control of the satellite's network management system. This allows the resource allocation for the satellite and terrestrial components to be coordinated to optimize spectral efficiency and increase overall system capacity. In such a system, the satellite resources reused in the terrestrial component may bring about severe interference, which is one of the main factors affecting system capacity. Under this consideration, the objective of this paper is to achieve an optimized resource allocation in both components in such a way as to minimize any resulting inter-component interference. The objective of the proposed scheme is to mitigate this inter-component interference by optimizing the total transmission power - the result of which can lead to an increase in capacity. The simulation results in this paper illustrate that the proposed scheme affords a more energy-efficient system to be implemented, compared to a conventional power management scheme, by allocating the bandwidth uniformly regardless of the amount of interference or traffic demand.

  • An SADT-based methodology is presented for systematically analyzing the container working process in container terminal, as well as an object-oriented design method for an integrated information system for container terminal resource planning and management. Our design architecture is composed of four levels, activity interface, activity PDCA control, human resource management, and facility resource management. Especially, the consideration of the human resource management level makes it possible to support cooperative tasks, to make the authority and responsibility on a task clear, and to extremely promote the balance between human and facility resources. Finally, The system architecture is suggested for Virtual Container Terminal, in which a planned container working process is simulated for previous feasibility check, work orders are transferred to control real devices, and to manage the entire process and related data.

  • 다중 인터페이스를 가지는 단말들이 다양한 이기종 무선 네트워크 서비스를 사용할 때 사용자의 버티컬 핸드오버가 증가하게 되었고, 이로 인한 네트워크 자원의 통합적인 관리 문제가 대두되고 있다. 이는 이기종 네트워크에서 자원의 통합 관리(Common Radio Resource Management: CRRM)를 통해 효율적으로 해결 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 사용자가 네트워크에 진입할 때 사용자의 요구 사항을 만족하는 네트워크를 선택하는 Integrated Network Selection 알고리즘과 가용자원이 부족하여 새로운 사용자의 요청을 처리할 수 없을 때 기존 사용자를 주변의 네트위크로 버티컬 핸드오버하여 가용자원을 확보하는 Integrated Vertical Handover 알고리즘을 제안하였고, 그 우수성을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • This article reviews the art and practice of strategic management process in hospitals today, in order to help hospital administrators for managing strategic management system in their hospitals. The strategic management process model in this article is based on an integrated approach combining traditional environmental model with resource-based model of strategy. The components of the model are consisted of five steps: (1)formulating objectives, strategic assessment by external environmental analysis, internal capability analysis, TOWS analysis and marketing audit, (3)strategy choice considering context and criteria of choice, (4)program implementation through operational planning, resource allocation, and conversion, and (5)control by monitoring and evaluating hospital outputs. This article deals with many aspects of issues inherent in every step on this strategic management process.

국가 방재 자원 통합 운영 모델에 관한 연구 (A study on the integrated management model of the national disaster resources)

  • NDMS의 경우, 정보는 해당 지역 자원에 한정되어 관리되고 있으며, 타 기관 시스템과 연계되어 있지 않다. 그러므로 대규모 재난 발생 시, 여러 기관 사이에 분산된 필요한 자원을 찾기는 쉽지가 않다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 자원 관리 환경을 고려하여, 분산된 자원 관리시스템을 통합하는 모델을 개발하였다. 그것은 IDRM이라는 본 연구에서 제안하는 중앙 시스템을 중심으로 연계하는 새로 모델이다. 본 시스템은 한국도로공사, 전북도청, 그리고 대한건설기계협회의 테스트 사이트를 통하여 연계성이 검증될 것이다. 이러한 검증을 거쳐서, 본 시스템은 장래에 운영 가능한 실제 시스템으로 될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 장비마다 내구연수가 존재한다. 장비의 도입, 운영 그리고 폐기까지 상태가 변하기도 하고 장애가 발생할 수도 있다. 이러한 장비들을 기관마다 상당 양을 보유하고 있으며 장비마다 일일이 이슈를 파악하고 있는 일은 어려운 일이다. 그렇기 때문에 단순 재고 파악 목적만이 아닌 장비의 체계적인 Life Cycle 관리가 더욱 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 정보자원을 대상으로 통합 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 제안하는 시스템은 인터넷을 사용할 수 있는 환경이라면 PC, 태블릿, 스마트폰 등을 통해 전산화된 정보 자원 데이터에 쉽고 간편하게 접근할 수 있도록 구현한다. 또한 중앙 집중식 관리와 사용자 레벨별 권한 부여 방식을 통해 상위 기관과 하위기관에서의 기능을 제한하고, 전체적인 자원의 현황을 파악할 수 있도록 통합 관리 체계를 구현한다.

An Engine for DRA in Container Orchestration Using Machine Learning

  • Recent advancements in cloud service virtualization technologies have witnessed a shift from a Virtual Machine-centric approach to a container-centric paradigm, offering advantages such as faster deployment and enhanced portability. Container orchestration has emerged as a key technology for efficient management and scheduling of these containers. However, with the increasing complexity and diversity of heterogeneous workloads and service types, resource scheduling has become a challenging task. Various research endeavors are underway to address the challenges posed by diverse workloads and services. Yet, a systematic approach to container orchestration for effective cloud management has not been clearly defined. This paper proposes the DRA-Engine (Dynamic Resource Allocation Engine) for resource scheduling in container orchestration. The proposed engine comprises the Request Load Procedure, Required Resource Measurement Procedure, and Resource Provision Decision Procedure. Through these components, the DRA-Engine dynamically allocates resources according to the application's requirements, presenting a solution to the challenges of resource scheduling in container orchestration.

국토계획과 환경계획 통합관리 지표 개발 연구 (A Study on Assessment Indicators for Integrated Management on Korea National Planning and Environmental Planning)

  • Both the national land plan and the environmental plan reflect the need for sustainable land use and management. However, the linkage between the plans is reduced due to the lack of integrated management. Therefore, this study developed indicators to achieve integrated management. A total of 59 environmental plans were reviewed for the development of indicators, and a total of 74 integrated management indicators were derived through a three-stage process. In this process, the relevance of the integrated management indicators of this study to the UN 's sustainable development goals (SDGs) is presented in order to derive indicators that meet the level of international consultation. In order to facilitate the utilization of the indicators, the final indicators are divided into seven areas: natural ecology, water resource and quality, urban and green space, atmospheric, energy, landscape, resource circulation and waste. Furthermore, the indicators were classified into national, regional, and city level. Accordingly, the final indicator can be adapted to the field of influence of the planned to be established, and the indicator can be selected and applied to the level of the plan. The final indicators can be used to examine the extent to which the national plan reflects the contents of the environmental plan and can be used as an aid to confirm the contents to be included in the plan when establishing a new national plan.

  • 본 논문에서는 PC나 라우터, 서버 장비 등 모든 정보자윈 시스템을 통합 관리하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 PC 및 라우터의 회선에 대한 성능 분석 항목을 정의하고 분석하며, 서버 장비에 대한 자산 관리를 수행한다. 관리자는 분석된 데이터를 바탕으로 현재 시스템이나 회선에 대한 상태를 파악하기 위한 자료로 활용할 수 있다. 시스템의 구조는 차후 관리 도메인의 증설이 쉽고, 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 3계층으로 구분하여 관리하고자 한다.
