미국 연안구역(Coastal Zone) 관리수단의 특성 -조닝방식과 이종 데이터 간 통합방법을 중심으로- (The Characteristics of Coastal Zone Management Methods in U.S.A -Focus on Zoning & Integrated Methods of Different Kind Data-)

  • 지역차원에서 연안구역을 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서는 정확한 해양 및 연안공간정보의 확보, 이를 분석할 수 있는 객관적 분석방법, 그리고 이런 연구결과를 정책에 반영할 수 있도록 하는 과학 기술적 지원체계 구축은 필수적 과제라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 미국 연안구역(Coastal Zone)의 사례에서 나타난 조닝(Zoning)방식과 이종 Data간 통합방법을 중심으로 그 특성을 조사 분석하였다. 이를 통해 나타난 공통된 특성은 연안의 가치와 이용특성을 반영할 수 있는 구체적인 설정기준과 지표 마련, 공간의사결정을 위한 Data 가공 및 분석방법, 해양 및 연안공간정보 구축 및 통합을 위한 전담기구의 설치 운영 등으로 도출되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 미국 연안구역의 관리수단 즉, 조닝방식과 이종 Data간 통합방법에 나타난 공통의 가치를 바탕으로, 지역차원에서 국내 연안구역(Coastal Zone)관리 시스템을 올바르게 구축하기 위한 기술적 시사점을 제시하였다.

Comparison of Normalization Methods for Defining Copy Number Variation Using Whole-genome SNP Genotyping Data

  • Precise and reliable identification of CNV is still important to fully understand the effect of CNV on genetic diversity and background of complex diseases. SNP marker has been used frequently to detect CNVs, but the analysis of SNP chip data for identifying CNV has not been well established. We compared various normalization methods for CNV analysis and suggest optimal normalization procedure for reliable CNV call. Four normal Koreans and NA10851 HapMap male samples were genotyped using Affymetrix Genome-Wide Human SNP array 5.0. We evaluated the effect of median and quantile normalization to find the optimal normalization for CNV detection based on SNP array data. We also explored the effect of Robust Multichip Average (RMA) background correction for each normalization process. In total, the following 4 combinations of normalization were tried: 1) Median normalization without RMA background correction, 2) Quantile normalization without RMA background correction, 3) Median normalization with RMA background correction, and 4) Quantile normalization with RMA background correction. CNV was called using SW-ARRAY algorithm. We applied 4 different combinations of normalization and compared the effect using intensity ratio profile, box plot, and MA plot. When we applied median and quantile normalizations without RMA background correction, both methods showed similar normalization effect and the final CNV calls were also similar in terms of number and size. In both median and quantile normalizations, RMA backgroundcorrection resulted in widening the range of intensity ratio distribution, which may suggest that RMA background correction may help to detect more CNVs compared to no correction.

  • Switching system can be regarded as the key node of Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN) because it plays the Important role in realization of ISDN. As ISDN is evolved from the telephony Integrated Digital Network(IDN), the switching system for ISDN will be evolved from the function and structure of telephony digital switching system. At near future, ISDN switching system is expected to implement the integrated access and transparent switching functions for both voice and data. As final goals of switching system, advanced switching methods for information having various traffic characteristics such as voice, data, text and image should be considered. This paper considered. This paper will show some of the fundamental design challenges and architectural trends in ISDN switching system.

암환자의 통합의학 치료경험 - 근거이론을 중심으로 - (Integrated medical treatment experience of cancer patients -grounded theory around-)

  • Purpose : Recently, cancer has become a chronic disease that requires supervision because of early diagnosis and the development of therapeutic technology. As a result, cancer patients are interested in improving the quality of their lives besides the treatment of cancer itself. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a qualitative research to understand the vivid experiences of cancer patients and structure their treatment experience. Among qualitative researches, grounded theory is developed based on the data collected in the field. The grounded theory research method is easy to analyze for the process and structure of the treatment experience. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the integrated medical experience of cancer patients Methods : Participants were conveniently selected, and the criteria for selection were for those who had more than 1 month of hospitalization so that they could dictate their situation and experience in a meaningful manner. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and continued until the data were saturated through theoretical sensitivity and continuous comparison methods. The collected data were analyzed through the process of open-coding, axial coding, and selection coding, which are the research methods of grounded theory. Results : Cancer patients differ in their path, purpose, and attitudes depending on their respective situations and the internal and external resources of individuals. There is also a difference in the perception of their situation among the cancer patients and their families. Cancer patients were shown to recognize and cope with problems in the integrated medical treatment process, and have been classified into 6 different types after the results. Cancer patients showed positive changes in terms of physical, emotional, and lifestyle after their integrated medical treatment. Cancer patients perceived the integrated medical treatment process as a horizontal relationship structure and with diversity. Conclusions : The experience of integrated medical treatment of cancer patients is a process of rehabilitation that heals the body and restores life within the interaction of support system, contextual situation, and internal resources of the individual. Despite this, there is a need not only for the efforts of integrated medical service providers but also institutional support in the future with regards to the current weaknesses and points for improvement. In addition, there is a need for an objective criterion to measure the outcome of integrated medicine for the standardization of integrated medical services.

  • Purpose: Recent weapon systems in defense have increased the complexity and importance of software when developing multifunctional equipment. In this study, we analyze the accuracy of the proposed software reliability model when applied to weapon systems. Methods: Determine the similarity between software reliability analysis results (prediction/estimation) utilizing data from developing weapon systems and system failures data during operation of weapon systems. Results: In case of a software reliability prediction model, the predicted failure rate was higher than the actual failure rate, and the estimation model was consistent with actual failure history data. Conclusion: The software prediction model needs to adjust the variables that are appropriate for the domestic weapon system environment. As the reliability of software is increasingly important in the defense industry, continuous efforts are needed to ensure accurate reliability analysis in the development of weapon systems.

Study on Integrated Workflow for Designing Sustainable Tall Building - With Parametric method using Rhino Grasshopper and DIVA for Daylight Optimization

  • Purpose: The Objective of this study is to explore the capabilities of an integrated modelling and simulation workflow when applied to an experiment-based research process, aimed at deriving daylight optimization strategies specific to tall buildings. Methods: Two methods were devised to apply this workflow with the help of DIVA and Rhino/Grasshopper. The first method is a multiple variant analysis by setting up an appropriate base case and analysing its daylight and energy performance, forming the basis of comparison for subsequent cases for design variants. The second method involved setting up the base case within a site context and conducting a solar irradiation study. An architectural variables such as overhang and shading device, were then defined as inputs in the parametric definition in Grasshopper to control the selected variable. Results: While the first method took advantage of the speed and efficiency of the integrated workflow, the second method was derived based on the ability to directly process simulation data within the integrated, single-software platform of the proposed workflow. Through these methods, different architectural strategies were explored, both to increase daylight penetration and to reduce radiant heat gain. The focus is on methods by which this workflow can be applied to facilitate the experimental derivation of daylight optimization strategies that are specific to tall building design.

지형 및 지적자료의 통합체계 구축 (An Implementation of Integrated System for Topographic and Cadastral Data)

  • 지형공간정보체계 중 토지정보체계를 통하여 지형 및 지적자료의 통합활용에 관한 사용자들의 요구는 계속 증가하고 있어 그 해결방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 지형 및 지적자료의 통합에 따른 문제점해결을 위하여 자료의 오류유형검출 및 조정기법을 다루었다. 이를 위하여 먼저 도형자료와 속성자료로 나뉘어져 있는 지적자료의 1차 통합자료모형을 구현하였고 다음으로 지적자료 중 도형자료를 지형자료의 도형자료와 일치시키는 개선된 방법으로 지적자료와 지형자료에 대한 2차 통합자료모형을 구현하였다. 이와 같은 연구로부터 도형자료(지적도면)와 속성자료(부동산관리체계)가 이중으로 관리됨으로써 생기는 각종 오류유형 및 원인을 확인하였고, 1차 통합자료모형을 제작하여 이들 오류에 대한 개선 방안을 제시할 수 있었다. 또한 지적도를 지형도에 일치시키기 위하여 일반적인 rubber sheeting, 좌표변환 등 기존의 방법을 이용한 경우보다 본 연구에서 개발한 다중블록조정기법을 적용한 결과, 기준점과 필지 면적에 있어 보다 향상된 정확도를 확보함으로써 2차 통합자료모형을 구현할 수 있었다.

  • Data fusion Is a technique used for creating an Integrated database by combining two or more databases that include a different set of variables or attributes. This paper attempts to apply data fusion technique to customer relationships management (CRM), in that we can not only plan a database structure but also collect and manage customer data In a more efficient way In particular our study Is useful when no s1n91e database Is complete, i.e., each and every subject in the pre-integrated database contains somewhat missing observations. According to the way of treating the common variables, donors can be differently selected for the substitution of the missing attributes of recipients. One way is to find the donor that has the highest correlation coefficient with the recipient by. treating common variables metrically The other is based on the closest distance by the correspondence analysis in case of treating common variables nominally. The predictability of data fusion for CRM can be evaluated by measuring the correlation of the original database and the substituted one. A Monte Carlo Simulation analysis is used to examine the stability of the two substitution methods in building an integrated database.

  • 효모의 세포주기 관련 유전자 발현 통합 데이터를 사용하여 본 연구실에서 개발한 유전자 발현 통합 분석프로그램을 사용하여, 클러스터링 알고리즘의 성능을 비교하고 데이터내에 존재하는 클러스터 개수를 추정하기 위해 FOM 분석을 적용하였으며, 이 분석방법을 통하여 K-means, SOM, Fuzzy c-means 클러스터링 방법의 성능을 서로 비교하였다. 클러스터 개수를 추정한 다음 3가지 클러스터링 방법에 대한 클러스터링 결과 비교, 클러스터의 기능할당 및 모티프 분석을 시도하였다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 분석 방법은 DNA chip 발현 데이터의 일반적인 분석방법을 유전자 발현 패턴의 유사성을 토대로 한 클러스터링 방법에 근간을 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 클러스터링한 후 각 클러스터의 기능할당 및 모티프 분석에 대한 일반적인 분석방법을 제시하였으며, 본 연구실에서 개발한 유전자 발현분석 통합 프로그램이 효율적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.

GPS/INS 통합 항법 시스템용 모니터링 시스템 설계 (Monitoring System Design for the GPS/INS Integrated Navigation System)

  • We propose the monitoring system scheme for the CPS/INS integrated navigation system. The design requirements of the monitoring system are suggested and the software scheme based on GUI is proposed. The proposed monitoring system consists of an I/O interface part, a navigation data display part, and a post-processing part. The I/O interface part is responsible for data communication between the monitoring system and a navigation computer unit. The navigation data display part provides various display methods to show the navigation data to user in real-time. The post-processing part collects the navigation data to analyze the performance of navigation system. The proposed monitoring system software was developed using the Visual C++ programming language and a van test was carried out to demonstrate the real-time operation of the monitoring system. The test result shows that the proposed monitoring system can be effectively applied to the CPS/INS integrated navigation system.
