적분보상형 가변구조제어기법을 이용한 유도 전동기 위치제어 (Induction Motor Position Control Using Integral-Compensating Variable Structure Control Algorithm)

  • This paper proposes a variable structure position controller for an induction motor(IM) which uses a reaching law and an integral compensating nonlinear switching function. With the integral compensating nonlinear switching function, both very low overshoot and high steady state control accuracy can be obtained by compensating the states chattering problem due to the unmodelled dynamics of inverter and feedback sensors. With the reaching law, reaching mode can be established quantitatively during transient state so that dynamic control performance is improved. For experiment a digital servo driver which consists of a DSP and an IPM inverter was developed. With the various experimental results, IM position control performance was verified.

불확실성의 Fredholm 적분 수식화를 통한 적응가변구조제어기 설계 (Design of an Adaptive Variable Structure Control using Fredholm Integral Formulae for the Uncertainties)

  • In deterministic design of feedback controllers for uncertain dynamic systems, the upper bound of the uncertainty is very important to guarantee the stability of the closed loop system. In this paper, we assume that the upper bound of the uncertainty is formulated using a Fredholm integral equation of the first kind, that is, an integral of the product of a predefined kernel with an unknown influence function. We propose an adaptation law that is capable of estimating this upper bound. Using this adaptive upper bound, we design an adaptive variable structure control (AVSC), which guarantees asymptotic stability/ultimate boundedness of uncertain dynamic systems. The illustrative example shows the proposed AVSC is effective for uncertain dynamic systems.

  • In this paper, a new simple integral variable structure controller is designed with incorporating the actuator dynamics. The formulation of the VSS (variable structure system) controller design includes integral augmented sliding surface and the dynamics of the actuator expressed as the state equation. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the developed controller.

고 강인성 적분 최적 가변구조 제어기 (A Highly Robust Integral Optimal Variable Structure System)

  • 본 연구는 불확실성이 존재하는 다이나믹 시스템을 고 강인성 및 성능 사전 결정 제어를 하기 위하여 적분 최적 가변구조 시스템을 설계한다. 제안된 제어기에서는 적분 슬라이딩 면을 이용 리칭 문제를 완전히 제거하여 시스템이 초기 값에서부터 바로 슬라이딩하여 외란과 불확실성에 무관하게 사전에 결정된 슬라이딩 면을 슬라이딩 모드 상태로 추종하므로 고 강인성 제어가 이루어진다. 적분 슬라이딩 면이 정의하는 이상 슬라이딩 동특성을 상태방정식 형으로 얻고, 고급 최적 제어 이론을 통하여 최적 의미로 설계한다. 이는 바로 슬라이딩 면과 등가 제어입력의 설계가 된다. 사전에 선정된 슬라이딩 면 위에 슬라이딩 모드를 발생할 제어입력을 설계하였다. 그 결과 외란과 불확정성에도 불구하고 주어진 초기 값에서부터 원점까지 전체 슬라이딩 출력이 완전하게 보장받는다. 더구나 기존의 최적 VSS에서는 설계 성능의 강인성을 보장받기 어려운데 반하여, 제안된 IOVSS에서는 실제 출력의 예측과 사전 결정이 가능하다. 예제를 들어 제안된 알고리듬의 성능을 검진한다.

  • In this paper, a new robust variable structure controller based on a nonlinear integral type sliding surface is presented for the control of uncertain systems with mismatched uncertainties and disturbance. A nonlinear integral type sliding surface is suggested for removing the reaching phase. After its ideal sliding dynamics is obtained, the two design methods are presented. A corresponding control input is proposed to satisfy the closed loop stability in the sense of Lyapunov and the existence condition of the sliding mode on the nonlinear integral type sliding surface, which will be investigated in Theorem 1. Through a design example and simulation study, the usefulness of the proposed controller is verified.

  • This paper proposes a method for comparing and evaluating anti-windup proportional-integral (PI) control strategies. The so-called PI plane is used and its coordinate is composed of the error and the integral state. In addition, an anti-windup PI controller with integral state prediction is proposed. The anti-windup scheme can be easily analyzed and evaluated on the PI plane in detail. Representative anti-windup methods are experimentally applied to the speed control of a vector-controlled induction motor driven by a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage-source inverter (VSI). The experimental results compare the anti-windup PI controllers. It is empathized that the initial value of the integral state at the beginning of the linear range dominates the control performance in terms of overshoot and settling time.

  • In this paper, Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy integral control is investigated to regulate the output voltage of an asymmetric half-bridge (AHB) DC/DC converter; First, we model the dynamic characteristics of the AHB DC/DC converter with state-space averaging method and small perturbation at an operating point. After introducing an additional integral state of the output regulation error, we obtain the $5^{th}$-order TS fuzzy model of the AHB DC/DC converter. Second, the concept of the parallel distributed compensation is applied to design the fuzzy integral controller, in which the state feedback gains are obtained by solving the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation results are presented to show the performance of the considered design method as the output voltage regulator and compared to the results for which the conventional loop gain method is used.

유연관절로봇의 모터 동역학을 정확하게 재설정하기 위한 적분매니폴드 피드백제어 개발 (Exact Reshaping of Motor Dynamics in Flexible-Joint Robot using Integral Manifold Feedback Control)

  • In this paper, an exact reshaping method for the motor dynamics of a flexible-joint robot is proposed using an integral manifold approach. Obtaining the exact model for both motor-side and link-side dynamics of a flexible-joint robot is difficult due to its under-actuated nature and complex dynamics. Despite the simple structure of the motor-side dynamics, they are difficult to model accurately for a flexible-joint robot due to motor disturbances, especially when speed reducers such as harmonic drives are installed. An integral manifold feedback control (IMFC) is proposed to reshape the motor dynamics. Based on the integral manifold approach, it is theoretically proved that the IMFC reshapes motor dynamics exactly even with bounded disturbances such as motor friction. The performance of the proposed IMFC is verified experimentally using a single degree-of-freedom flexible-joint robot under gravity conditions.

Design and Simulation of Integral Twist Control for Helicopter Vibration Reduction

  • Closed-loop active twist control of integral helicopter rotor blades is investigated in this paper for reducing hub vibration induced in forward flight. A four-bladed fully articulated integral twist-actuated rotor system has been designed and tested successfully in wind tunnel in open-loop actuation. The integral twist deformation of the blades is generated using active fiber composite actuators embedded in the composite blade construction. An analytical framework is developed to examine integrally twisted helicopter blades and their aeroelastic behavior during different flight conditions. This aeroelastic model stems from a three-dimensional electroelastic beam formulation with geometrical-exactness, and is coupled with finite-state dynamic inflow aerodynamics. A system identification methodology that assumes a linear periodic system is adopted to estimate the harmonic transfer function of the rotor system. A vibration minimizing controller is designed based on this result, which implements a classical disturbance rejection algorithm with some modifications. Using the established analytical framework, the closed-loop controller is numerically simulated and the hub vibratory load reduction capability is demonstrated.

  • 본 논문에서는 PID 적분슬라이딩모드를 이용한 IPMSM의 백스태핑제어를 제안한다. IPMSM에 슬라이딩모드를 이용함에 있어서 부하외란의 비정합성에 대한 걸림돌을 제거하기 위해 백스테핑기법을 적용한다. 슬라이딩모드제어기를 백스테핑에 적용시키는데 있어서의 어려움인 오차모델의 유도를 피하기 위하여 PID제어기와 적분슬라이딩모드를 결합한다. 결과적인 제어기의 형태는 기존의 PID제어 구조에 슬라이딩모드입력을 추가하는 형태로 구성되며 실제적인 적용에 있어서도 매우 유리한 구조이다.
