In our knowledge-based society, a corporation's main growth engine consists of its unique core competences and how these are organized rather than materialized competitive advantage. Intangible factors such as creative organizational culture, learning capability, brands, marketing ability and technology are notable examples of such core competencies. To ensure constant development of a corporation, it is important to understand the environment in which these factors operate. Drawing on literature research, this paper looks at organizational culture and change, and employees' attitudes and resistance factors to such change. To strengthen the explanation of this study the Korea Asset Management Corporation was used as a case study. From the point of view of information science, knowledge has been viewed as that which is found in books and databases. Such "knowledge" is storable, passive and unchangeable. However, more recently it is seen by many researchers that this approach is limited in that it ignores the knowledge that "sits" in human "bodyminds" and organizations. Such knowledge forms the backbone of organizational culture and should be considered in any meaningful study of information.
New teaching and learning theory on various aspects about class is needed to implement education which reflects constructivism, ideally. For an ideal learner-centered mathematics class, tangible and intangible elements related to education(view of knowledge, view of leaner, teacher's role, evaluation, the form of class, learning, teaching material, etc.) should be integrated from a constructive perspective and especially, teaching material has to be premised on that learners have intellectual abilities to construct knowledge themselves, and reflect integrity of knowledge, diversity and others, and contain open attributes. In addition to this, teaching material should have characteristics different from those when objective epistemology applies, so there is a need to analyze whether teaching material has those characteristics. For this, this study compared and analyzed <1. Three-Digit Numbers> which belongs to the domain of numbers and operations out of the units of mathematics(3) textbook of the 2009 revised curriculum for the first and second grade that first introduced story-telling, and <3. Understanding of Place Values> for the second grade of constructive math class used in the U.S.

Considering that supplementing the technical resources is stressed in a motivation of technology collaboration from the corresponding theoretical perspective, a group of corporations to be analyzed was classified into three categories such as high, medium and low technologies depending on the technology level. Moreover, technology collaboration partners were also classified into large corporation, small and medium enterprises, university and institution based on that both tangible and intangible assets that belong to a corporation semi-permanently, and the revolutionary performance was analyzed by each relationship of collaboration between parties. The study results revealed that an influence on the performance of technology collaboration varies by technology level of the small and medium enterprises in Korea and their collaboration partners. In particular, the small and medium enterprises of high-tech industry in Korea were confirmed to accomplish relatively less benefits obtaining through technology collaboration compared to the corporations with low technical skills.
Character industry which introduces marketing techniques into cultural level and recreational tendency owned by man and which develops them to industrial aspects is not simple sale of goods, but knowledge-intensive industry which asks consumers intangible symbolic elements. In other words, it is a field of soft business which concretizes and maximizes ideas, goods and services which can satisfy pleasure and recreational tendency internal to human mind. For Korean character industry, forms or expressions proper to character not only have weak character, meaning or values as goods from the stage at which they are developed, but the absence of strategies about media by which to develop these or integrative character marketing strategies and tactics makes a ripple effect of character or strategies of merchandising it relatively inferior compared to the advanced countries in character such as the United States, Japan, England and so on. 1 want to contribute to developing Korean character industry to the levels of developed countries by applying the strategies and tactics of MPR, the strategic marketing method which worldwide famous enterprises or brands are positively utilizing in the condition of the lad(Eng study on character marketing with character as the subject, to character marketing strategies by which they can be grafted directly into fields of character business.
As urbanization has evolved, a number of cities have been engaged in building creative power through branding. Cities contain much creative space and creative space within cities develops them. Cities are connected with space, which have a great influence each other, in particular, in cities of culture and art. This research aims to investigate the structural relationship among service quality, service value, satisfaction, relation quality and re-use intention and to establish the conceptual framework for the relationship between customer and service supplier. This research employs LISREL 8.30 for an empirical approach. With consumers in beauty shops supplying intangible and autonomous-oriented services, it was found that (1) perceived service quality was positively related to service value, satisfaction, relation quality and re-use intention, (2) service value encouraged satisfaction and relation quality, (3) satisfaction and relation quality showed relationship with re-use intention while no relationship between service value and re-use intention was tested, (4) re-use intention presented relatively strong relationship with relation quality geared from interaction between customer and service supplier than with customer satisfaction. Some implications of these results are discussed. Among others, it is noted that the small and customized firms must put their attention on relationship marketing.
As a neighboring country belonged to the same cultural sphere with the Northeast Asia, China is recently emerging as a center of the world's economy. The social transformations caused by the rapid economic growth are bringing changes in the Chinese housing culture and thus, it is considered that the identification of a user's need concerning a new housing space and social and cultural understanding on China are necessary. Second, the 6 families of a research target were selected focused on the small apartments in Shanghai, China and the user research was performed using three methods of User observation, Video ethnography, and Contextual inquiry. Third, the research results were analyzed focused on the flow of human traffic in the kitchen area and user's behaviors. What were identified as a result take account of the human traffic movements in the kitchen areas around the sink-counter-cook top, cooking behaviors and meal areas outside of the kitchen. Tongyeong International Music Festival was established to commemorate the world-renowned composer Isang Yun. Despite its short history, the event is quickly grown into a global music festival. This paper considers the future direction of Tongyeong International Music Festival as seen through the musical world of Isang Yun. Although Isang Yun suffered through Korea's modern history and was deported from his own country, his works clearly use Korea, in particular the cultural heritage of Tongyeong, as his creative energy. His music is reflected in the festival in various forms, i.e., East and West, past and present, North and South and maestro and rookie, while pursuing a world of harmony. In order for Tongyeong International Music Festival to join the ranks of global festivals, an effort needs to be made to find the values from the tangible and intangible cultural resources of Tongyeong, the source of Isang Yun's musical creations, and connect these values to the music festival. I believe that, based on such cultural capacity, when Tongyeong International Music Festival becomes a unique festival that differentiates itself from music festivals in the west, it will advance into the successful music festival of a global music city.
The time management and allotments for various activities of daily life is much different by age groups. This study analyzes time allotments of different age groups for various activities of daily life to figure out the change of main activity by aging through 2009 time use survey by National Statistical Office. Especially we focus on time allotments of rural elderly population and intangible factors for life quality of people instead of physical and environmental elements. The results show that there is a large gap of time allotments for paid and unpaid working time of rural and urban elderly population. Whereas the time for leisure of elderly women in rural areas is much shorter than that of urban elderly women and rural elderly men spend more time to provide community services and help to other households. However, the percentage leisure time of rural elderly people for passive activities such as TV, radio, magazine etc. is longer than that of urban elderly people. We hope that our analysis data could be used for developing new policies and project to improve the life quality of rural elderly population.
