She had played a significant role through the modern history of pansori genre including Yeoseong Gukkeuk(Korean classical opera by women) and Changgeuk(Korean traditional opera in pansori style) as well as original pansori itself. In the article, the early stage of her learnings and the way she got involved to pansori from Gwonbeon period are offered, and the activities by group, solo recitals, and educational activity lists are also provided. Bak Songhui began to learn pansori, Geommu(dance), Seungmu(dance), Gayageum, Yanggeum, and Gagok genres at her age of 13 in Gwangju. She fulfilled 5 years of study in Gwangju Gwonbeon, and entered to a Hyeomnyulsa-travelling theater company, led by Gim Yeonsu at her age around 19. Later, Bak used to be an actress in Yeoseong Gugak Donghohoe(Female Korean music fans' club) led by Gim sohui as well as in Haennim Gukkeukdan, and Saehan Gukkeukdan at around her age of 30. She took the main actress' role in several performances. And thanks to her effort, the Yeoseong Gukkeuk can be one of the representative genre in history. As she entered to the National Changgeuk company, her brilliant talents worked well by leading the company's big hit with her talents of taking many different characters, devotions, and know-hows from her experience. After her 70s, she kept the pansori go on its right way to pass down. The activities that Bak Songhui showed us can become another chance to make her a great master of pansori, especially in Dongpyeonje style.
This paper investigates the transmission of food as an intangible cultural heritage and tries to answer what maintains and promotes traditional food culture, though researching into the specific example of 'making traditional soy sauce.' For that, I chose three different cases to research into the continuation and change in the transmission of traditional soy sauce making. The first instance is when the informant makes traditional soy sauce by herself. The second example is when the informant makes traditional soy sauce with ready-made soybean lumps. The last case is that people sharing the same ideology about food organize a community('kye') and make soy sauce together each year and reserve 'seed soy sauce.' This is a new type of food community. The changes in tools and skills, in production and consumption, and in food communities caused changes in the transmission of traditional soy sauce making. Because of these factors, the way of making traditional soy sauce is changing a lot. The informants, however, believed that the tradition of 'making soy sauce' will last, as far as the taste of soy sauce made in the traditional method stays the same. Therefore, we need to make an effort to sustain communities of people who remember and enjoy the taste of traditional soy sauce in order to keep the tradition of making traditional soy sauce.
This study is an attempt to explore the roles of and the collaborative relationship between Daheojang and Maedeupjang. Daheojang and Maedeupjang share a similar manufacturing process. However, in modern times, Daheojang totally disappeared, and Maedeupjang was designated as an intangible cultural property. The present study will investigate the role of Daheojang and Maedeupjang based on the literature of the Joseon dynasty. Daheojang were craftsmen who made bands and strings of woven or twisted silk strands. They made mangsu and tassels or made knots to produce magnificent artifacts. Maedeupjang complete all steps of the process, from refining, dyeing, combining threads, daheo, maedeup, to the tassel. Daheojang in the Joseon dynasty was the center of this process. Daheojang belonged to almost all Uigwe because it used items ranging from large uso to cushion straps. Dahoe is a craft with various items and techniques. It has been widely used to produce majestic items like formal dresses, ritual ceremony pieces, and mountings, as well as daily items like jodae, pocket straps, and norigae. Based on the records of Uigwe in the late Joseon dynasty, the study explored the collaborative relationship between Daheojang and Maedeupjang. Sambang, the room where both Daheojang and Maedeupjang belong, was the room to produce the royal chair. The royal chair essentially includes large uso. The large uso is an artifact that ties a knot in a thick circle more than two meters long. While Daheojang made rounded daheo, Maedeupjang made delicate and balanced knots. Also, they produced royal inscriptions together with a royal seal with decorative mangsu and a seal of thick rounded daheo. In order to learn about traditional technology, it is necessary to study the system of the times and social trends. Therefore, the study focused on Daheojang, who were common master craftsmen during the Joseon dynasty but now are not familiar to most people.

Global governments and initiatives have attempted and integrated various organizational efforts to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), presenting a new paradigm of sustainable development to address global issues (climate change, poverty eradication, and human rights). Recently, investment in sustainable finance has expanded to finance the attainment of goals set out in the Paris Agreement and SDGs. Non-financial factors such as environment, social responsibility, and governance (ESG) have become intangible assets that determine the future competitiveness and profitability of companies. Domestic and foreign institutional investors and asset management companies have been expanding their investments based on the ESG performance of companies. In this study, we aim to derive international standards and initiatives that require disclosure of information on corporate social responsibility activities and ESG performance and analyze construction companies' ESG activities and performance levels. The results of this study can be used as the basis to develop platforms for the construction industry ESG ecosystem and the measurement and management of intangible assets. These could ultimately contribute to overcoming the crisis in the future due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, fostering net-zero emissions, and preventing fatal workplace accidents in the construction industry.

Noung-kun(a farmer as a soldier) Parade, one of the Choseon folk plays/dramas, was recorded in its chapter titled of the booklet 'Guk-Geuk-Yo-Ram', which was published in 1932 by Waseda University Tsubouchi Memorial Theater Museum in Tokyo, Japan. The general understanding on the Korean culture of that era was that 'there is no theater in Choseon'. However, a few examples of existence of Korean theater were recorded in the book mentioned above, which was mainly the record of Japanese theater. This study specifically focused on a 'famers' parade' recorded in the chapter 'Traditional theater'. Seok-ha Song, a folklorist, revealed that the Noung-kun parade recorded in that book is a cultural asset of Ulsan. On the basis of these records, this study asserts that the Noung-kunParade is an intangible cultural asset of Ulsan, which had been performed by the local residence of fishing villages during the Japanese Colonial Rule. Therefore, the outcomes of this study would be as follows: First, the clear understanding of Ulsan traditional village festival. Second, the festival is named as 'Ulsan Noung-kun Parade' on the basis of the previous records researched in this study. Finally, I have laid a foundation for full restoration and embodiment of this intangible heritage of Ulsan.

Third, in Dutbeki, there is a local culture of Ulsan which was originated from the village Dongjeol and outdoor performances. Next, the researcher perceived Ulsan Dutbeki which had been handed down through custom and approached its shape. The origins of the shape are, firstly, the speech tone and gestures of Ulsan people. Secondly, folk plays related to worshiping martial arts and military training. Thirdly, the characteristics of the Dutbeki dance in coastal areas of Gyeongsangdo. Fourth, local custom displayed at the village festival of Ulsan. Ulsan is a region of Gyeongsang culture area and has similarity with other localities. However, this study limited its comparisons with regard to Dutbeki that were originated from the local characteristics of other regions. The results of this study recognized Ulsan Dutbeki as a local dance in Ulsan area. In other words, this study perceived Dutbeki, which had been an entertaining component of traditional lifestyle, as an intangible cultural heritage and studied the form in every conceivable way from an artistic point of view.
Background: Arirang is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and intangible cultural property No. 129. However, research on the origin of Arirang in Seoul is still narrowly conducted, and it is necessary to investigate it academically. Purpose: This study is to clarify the research on the origin of traditional Arirang in Seoul area on a theoretical basis. Methods: I searched various documents to find the source of Arirang in Seoul. Results: The record of 'Arirang' was first confirmed as 'Arirang Taryeong(song)' in 'Hanyang-ga' in Maecheonyarok (Maecheon's history) by Hwang (1894). After that, Hulbert (1896) published the first modern sheet music and lyrics of <A-ra-rung> on music paper. In addition, Lee Sang Jun (1914) edited <Old Korean Folk Songbook, First volume> and recorded the lyrics and score titled 'Arirang Taryeong' on page 25 and the long Arirang Taryeong. Conclusions: Literally, the origin of 'Arirang in Seoul' is 'Arirang Taryeong' first recorded in 'Hanyang-ga' of Maecheonyarok. Arirang song, which originated in Hanyang, can be called Seoul Arirang. It is suggested that Seoul Arirang has a very high value as a protected cultural heritage of Seoul because of its historical and cultural characteristics.
This study aims to review the competitiveness of 'TVING', a Korean OTT player in Korean market. For this, this study extracts core business resources of TVING focusing on resource-based theory, and analyzes their competitiveness under VRIO framework. TVING has 4 tangible and intangible resources respectively and 1 human resource. Tangible resources of TVING are technology(recommendation, compression), content(original, exclusive, discriminative non-exclusive), production studio, and paid-subscribers. Intangible resources are content planing capability, distribution network(local, global), marketing promotion·PR, sales), brand preference. And human resource of TVING creates IP professionalism of the company. As a result of VRIO analysis, discriminative non-exclusive content, production studios, and domestic service channels are the most powerful resources of TVING to 'sustain competitive advantage'. Technology, original content, planning capability and IT professionalism bring 'temporary competitive advantage', while exclusive content, the number of paid-subscribers, global service network, and promotion capabilities are not core resources with staying in competitive rank stages. By the way, TVING has potential users for sales of KT and LGU+ thanks to partnership and M&A, but this is not effectively used at the organization level yet. The meaning of this study can be found in that this evaluated competitiveness by each resource of TVING and arranged its implications.
