  • The future industry, intangible assets, like expertise, customer satisfaction, and employee's volition and capability, create more company value than any other components. The company's outcome mostly depends on managing these intangible knowledge assets. Construction industry is trying to adapt knowledge management system to manage their knowledge assets, but Hey do not build up knowledge assets definition and knowledge assets classification as much as other industries do. Most researches related knowledge assets classification are not concentrated on construction industry so it is need to define knowledge assets and establish knowledge assets classification of construction based on construction characteristics and informations. With this research result, construction knowledge assets classification can be the basis of knowledge asscts evaluation and knowledge map for knowledge management system.

  • The ROK army has equipped ATCIS (Army Tactical Control Information System) for the Corps echelon to visualize the battlefield and reduce the reaction time. Due to the information&surveillance equipment, uncertainty and variance of the battlefield have been decreased. However decision making for the ground operations has not changed as it depends on knowledge of the commander and staffs. The War game process to select and assess the best CoA (Course of Action) also depends on the pros and cons due to the limitation of time and capability. For the balanced development between intangible and tangible military strength, a new decision making process which is quantitative and useful for the military is needed. In this study, we suggest a Fuzzy-AHP based decision making model to improve troop leading procedure which is useful to evaluate and reflect intangible characteristics of the battlefield.

  • This paper's aim is to suggest the Expert System for analyzing relative combat power in ground operations. Since relative combat power analysis in terms of comparing combat power of friendly forces with one of the enemy can determine how the commander and staffs operate their unit afterwards, it requires fast and rational decision-making process. However, it has relied on manual method so far though Tactical Information Communications Network(TICN) into which numbers of applications can be loaded has been developed over a decade. 3 methods for analyzing relative combat power were expressed as mathematic rules to be used knowledge in the expert system after reviewing previous studies, and it studied how intangible power as well as tangible were reflected on total combat power. The expert system that will be built using EXSYS Corvid tool is expected to lessen error rate, provide faster decision-making, and reflect both intangible combat power and tangible one by using an appropriate weights in analyzing relative combat power. Next research filed includes how to build expert systems related with military personnel and intelligence areas for fast and rational decision-making processes.

Out of 130 questionnaires distributed to the elementary school dietitians in In-cheon, 127 were returned and analyzed (98% response rate). The questionnaire included two multiple-item scales for measuring job satisfaction and foodservice quality, respectively. All the items in the scales were coded 1 to 5 for certainly no, no, neutral, yes, and certainly yes and grouped by using factor analyses. Most of the responding dietitians were working for schools in urban areas and had independently-managed on-site kitchens. The 23 items measuring job satisfaction were grouped into 4 factors: Job Duty, Job Condition, Physical Work Environment, and Organizational Environment. The satisfaction score was the highest for Organizational Environment with a value of 3.38 and the least for Physical Work Environment with a value of 2.08. • UNESCO clearly has a good user interface compared to other sites. However, it does not have a structure in which user-centric knowledge curating is employed by users. As such, the knowledge structure should be expressed differently in advance for users to enjoy such benefits. At present, almost all current information systems are lacking with semantic and contextual information. Moreover, these systems are deemed insufficient of interlinking various kinds of thoughts in our minds. Thus, it is necessary to model in advance what users are likely to think and provide an interface that they can easily utilize based on that modeling. Furthermore, there is a need for a new structural theory based on semantic technology that can make that possible. Therefore, in this proposal, theoretical and practical insights were presented for user interface implementation to which relational facet navigation based on the structural theory is applied. Moreover, this proposal intends to suggest a "thinking expansion platform" that allows users' ideation of different concepts, including those unfamiliar to them.

  • This paper empirically studies the relationship between R&D expenditures and firms value. First, we can conjecture that R&D expenditures are enhancing the firms value. Such findings depend on an existing research, which R&D expenditures are intangible asset rather than expenses. Although, under U.S. accounting standards, financial statements do not report intangible assets but costs. Second, we can conjecture that short-term, the rate of increase in R&D expenditures had negative influence on firms valuation, because such findings indicates that R&D spending of costs incur mis-pricing. But long-term, consistently R&D expenditures may attract investors on the stock market. Third, lately firms focus on capital efficiency management, such a firms R&D expenditures incur high ROE. Generally investors put too much confidence in capital efficiency management and high ROE may attract investors on the stock market. Finally, High-Tech through the R&D investment improve firms competitive advantage, by competitive advantage, firms have reduced cost and raised productivity in the end improve firms value.
