GC/ECD와 HRGC/HRMS 분석을 이용한 변압기 절연유 중 PCBs 농도 및 이성체 분포 (PCBs concentration and congener distribution in transformer insulation oil samples using GC/ECD and HRGC/HRMS analysis)

  • 절연유 중 PCBs 총 농도를 GC/ECD와 HRGC/HRMS를 이용하여 정량한 결과 각각 N.D. ${\sim}154.04{\mu}g/g$$0.087{\sim}223.6{\mu}g/g$(TEQ 농도는 0.00067~6.8 ng WHO-TEQ/g)으로 검출되었으며, 6개의 시료에서 2 ppm을 초과하였다. 고농도 시료일수록 정량방법의 차이로 인해 ECD와 HRMS의 분석결과가 차이를 나타내었다. 절연유 중 PCBs의 피크패턴 및 군집분석을 사용하여 시료에 함유된 PCBs 제품형태를 추정할 수 있었으며, Aroclor 1248 제품은 함유되어 있지 않았다. Co-PCBs 이성체 분포에 있어서 non-ortho 치환 이성체에 비해 mono-ortho 치환 이성체가 높은 비율을 나타내었으며, PCB-167 이성체가 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 또한 절연유 중 Co-PCBs의 이성체패턴은 소각로 배출가스, 환경 대기시료 뿐만 아니라 PCBs 제품(Aroclor, Kanechlor)과도 다른 이성체 패턴을 나타내었다.

단열 다심관의 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Heat Transfer Characteristic of Insulated Multi Core Tube)

  • 본 연구에서는 다심관(Multi Core Tube)에 단열재로 글라스울(Glass wool)을 사용한 단열 다심관(Insulated Multi Core Tube)의 열전달 특성에 관하여 검토하였다. 제작된 단열 다심관에 대하여 외기온도, 유압 오일 공급온도, 유압 오일 공급유량에 따른 단열 다심관 내부의 유압 오일의 온도특성에 관하여 실험 및 모델링을 통하여 검토하였다. 그 결과 본 연구의 범위 내에서 최소 유압 오일 공급유량인 0.29(l/min)인 경우 실험결과와 수치해석 결과의 온도차이가 최대 약 $3^{\circ}C$정도 발생하였다. 외기온도가 일정한 경우 유압 오일 공급온도가 높을수록 유압 오일의 공급유량에 관계없이 유압 오일 출구온도가 높아지고, 유압 오일 공급유량이 1.01(l/min)이상일 경우에는 유압 오일의 온도강하에 외기온도의 영향이 적음을 알 수 있었다.

3상 22.9/3.3kV 유입변압기의 소손패턴 해석 및 발화원인 판정에 관한 연구 (Study on the Damage Pattern Analysis of a 3 Phase 22.9/3.3kV Oil Immersed Transformer and Judgment of the Cause of Its Ignition)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the manufacturing defect and damage pattern of a 3 phase 22.9/3.3kV oil immersed transformer, as well as to present an objective basis for the prevention of a similar accident and to secure data for the settlement of PL related disputes. It was found that in order to prevent the occurrence of accidents to transformers, insulating oil analysis, thermal image measurement, and corona discharge diagnosis, etc., were performed by establishing relevant regulation. The result of analysis performed on the external appearance of a transformer to which an accident occurred, the internal insulation resistance and protection system, etc., showed that most of the analysis items were judged to be acceptable. However, it was found that the insulation characteristics between the primary winding and the enclosure, those between the ground and the secondary winding, and those between the primary and secondary windings were inappropriate due to an insulating oil leak caused by damage to the pressure relief valve. From the analysis of the acidity values measured over the past 5 years, it is thought that an increase in carbon dioxide (CO2) caused an increase in the temperature inside the transformer and the increase in the ethylene gas increased the possibility of ignition. Even though 17 years have passed since the transformer was installed, it was found that the system's design, manufacture, maintenance and management have been performed well and the insulating paper was in good condition, and that there was no trace of public access or vandalism. However, in the case of transformers to which accidents have occurred, a melted area between the upper and the intermediate bobbins of the W-phase secondary winding as well as between its intermediate and lower bobbins. It can be seen that a V-pattern was formed at the carbonized area of the transformer and that the depth of the carbonization is deeper at the upper side than the lower side. In addition, it was found that physical bending and deformation occurred inside the secondary winding due to non-uniform pressure while performing transformer winding work. Therefore, since it is obvious that the accident occurred due to a manufacturing defect (winding work defect), it is thought that the manufacturer of the transformer is responsible for the accident and that it is lawful for the manufacture to investigate and prove the concrete cause of the accident according to the Product Liability Law (PLL).

  • In this paper, We investigated a charge elimination by using a needle electrode in order to prevent the electrification phenomena of insulating oil flowing by force at the internal transformer. In our experiment, We used Acryle and Teflon as the material of charge reducer and measured each of their streaming current and needle electrode current. As a result of experiment, We can explain that the current of needle electrode increase in proportion to insulation of charge reducer.

  • In this work, a new family of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) based esters have been synthesized that consists eight ester functional groups. These are classified into Type-I and Type-II esters based on the starting materials, octakis(3-chloropropyl)silsesquioxane (Cl-POSS) and octakis(3-hydroxypropyldimethylsiloxy) octasilsesquioxane (OHPS) respectively. These new POSS type ester moieties can be used as insulating oils and oil additives in the transformers and also considered to be alternatives to mineral and vegetable oils that are presently used in the insulation system.

  • In this study, a new design of an one-body type of an unbalanced-fixed- displacement type vane pump combined with an induction type electric motor was suggested. By the application of the new design scheme, it was possible to reduce the number of parts of the pump system and to cut down the volume of power package than that of already-used products. The case in this study enabled efficient heat transfer and electricity insulation of hydraulic fluid. Thus oil moves through the inside of the package for cooling and returns to the reservoir. Because of this design, it was difficult to measure the shaft-input torque. Therefore the package overall efficiency in the paper was evaluated with a ratio of hydraulic power and electric power.

  • This paper reports the experiments regarding to diagnosis techniques for power transformers by measuring dissipation factor and moisture contents of mineral oils. Thermal aging environments of mineral oils were varied by the specially designed systems. Thermal aging of elevated temperature of $90^{\circ}C$ was performed for about 240 and 460 hours, respectively. Dissipation factor, permittivity, and water content were measured. Our test samples were not exposed to air. Dissipation factor increased while permittivity did not change. The level of dissipation factor determining the insulating quality of mineral oil was compared with the previous results of resistivity and several correction factor.

전략케이블에 쓰이는 절연재료의 변천과 발달과정

  • 전기공학분야의 여러다른 부분과 같이 전력케이블 분야에서도 수많은 연구와 아울러 특히 19세기후반에 전력케이블의 제작에 성공한 것은 20세기에 들어와서 케이블과 이에 관련된 모든 기술이 빠른 속도로 발달하게된 주원동력이 되었다고 보아도 과언은 아니다. 비록 19세기 후반에 고무(rubber)를 사용하여 케이블 절연 하였지만, 그이후 약 70여년이상을 Impergnated paper(오일복합수지(oil compound resin)나 오일(oil)을 종이에 스며들게한 후 그 종이를 절연재료로 이용함)를 전력케이블 절연재료로 많이 사용하여 왔다. 아울러 OF cable의 제조기술도 향상되어 현재 매우 높은 전압과 상당한 전력용량를 충족시키는 전력케이블로서 발달을 계속하고 있다. 1960년대에 들어서서 extruded polymer material 이 전력케이블의 절연재료로 쓰이게 되었는데 현저하게 주로 쓰이는 재료로 폴리에틸렌인대, 그대로 순수한 상태로 또는 어떤 처리를 하여 쓰기도 한다. 그러나 EPR(ethylene propylene rubber)도 역시 개발중에 있다. Extruded synthetic insulation을 사용한 케이블은 현재 모든 필요한 전류와 전압을 망라하여 널리 쓰이고 있으며 다른재료를 사용한 케이블 보다 설치하기에 쉽고 사용법이 비교적 간단하고, 또한 전력망(network)에서의 신뢰서이도 높은 것으로 나타나 매우 만족스런 재료로 인정받고 있다.

VAV/BPFS를 이용한 실내공기 오염물질의 효율적 제어 (Effective Control of Indoor Air Pollutant using VAV/BPFS)

  • The oil crisis of the 1970s and the rise in oil prices motivated people to implement energy conservation strategies. Buildings were fitted with additional Insulation and reduced ventilation rates. The reduction of mechanical and natural ventilation rate led to Increases In Indoor pollutant concentrations which result- ed In Increased health risks from Indoor exposure to pollutants. The variable-air-volume /bypass fitration system/VAV/BPFS) is a variation of the conventional VAV systems, The VAV/BPFS is an electronically controlled system that provides costegectlve thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality Under controlled conditions In a chamber, a series experiments were performed to compare the ability of a VAV/BPFS to remove Indoor aerosol concentration and to reduce energy consumption no that ability of conventional VAV system. Results show that the VAV/BPFS Increases the effective ventilation rate and removes indoor air pollutant, and maintains acceptable indoor air Quality without sacrificing energy consumption.

회복전압측정 방법을 통한 식물유와 광유에 따른 절연지의 수분 흡습 특성 (A moisture absorption characteristics of insulation papers on the vegetable oil impregnated paper and the mineral oil impregnated paper)

  • 본 논문은 RVM(Return Voltage measurement)을 이용하여 식물유와 광유에 따른 절연지의 수분 흡습성에 관한 특성을 비교하였다. 시험 절연재료로써 절연유는 각각 식물유(Bio Trans 1000,Cargill사)와 광유(제1종 2호, 동남석유(주))를 사용하였고, 절연지는 셀룰로오스계 크래프트 절연지를 사용하였다. 각 조건에서 IEEE/ANSI Standard C59.91-1981의 기대수명 곡선에서 $55^{\circ}C$ 절연을 기준으로하여 가속 열열화 시험을 수행한 후, $15^{\circ}C$씩 온도를 변화시켜 RVM 측정을 하였다.
