Peer Instruction을 활용한 과학수업이 초등학교 3학년 학생들의 수업참여도 및 토론 능력 신장에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Application of Peer Instruction in Science Class on Participation Degree and the Debating Ability of Third-Grade Elementary School Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 Peer Instruction의 지속적 활용이 초등학교 3학년 학생들의 과학 수업참여도와 토론 능력의 신장에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 이루어졌다. 수업 주제와 관련된 선다형 문항을 활용하여 이루어지는 토론식 수업인 Peer Instruction이 3학년 과학 교과의 전차시의 수업에 대하여 6개월 동안 지속적으로 적용이 이루어졌고, 과학 수업참여도와 토론 능력을 조사하여 그 신장 정도를 알아보았다. 그 결과, 수업참여도 5개 영역인 수업준비하기, 수업활동하기, 의사표현하기, 수업확장하기, 수업열정, 모두에 대하여 통계적으로 유의한 효과를 나타내었음은 물론, 토론 능력 6개 영역인 논리력, 분석력, 듣기능력, 수용성, 규칙성, 적극성 영역에 대해서도 통계적으로 모두 유의한 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타나, Peer Instruction의 적용은 초등학교 3학년 학생들의 수업참여도와 토론 능력의 변화에 매우 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

아버지의 양육행동과 유아의 정서조절의 관계에서 놀이참여의 상호작용 효과 (The Interaction Effect between Fathers' Parenting and Play Participation on Emotional Regulation of Preschoolers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the main and interaction effects of fathers' parenting and their play participation on emotional regulation of preschoolers. The participants of this study consisted of 269 preschoolers (M: 61.4 months, SD: 15.3) located in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province. The results of regression analysis revealed that; 1) Father's parenting (such as rational instruction, friendly attitude) positively predicted child's emotion regulations. 2) The interaction effects of fathers' parenting (such as parenting participation, reaction, rational instruction, friendly attitude) with their constructive play participation predicted children's emotion regulations. Namely, fathers with higher constructive play participation showed higher emotion regulations of preschoolers under father's parenting participation, reaction, rational instruction and friendly attitude. 3) The interaction effects between fathers' functional play participation and father's parenting participation predicted children's emotion regulations. Findings indicate that fathers play a role in improving children's emotion regulation by parenting. Moreover, its effects appeared more apparently when fathers participated with constructive and functional play methods. In conclusion, it is suggested that fathering and the level of play involvement may be key variables for developing young children's emotion regulation.

온라인 토론 수업에서 학구적 자기효능감이 토론 참여도와 만족도에 주는 영향 분석 (The Effects of Academic Self-Efficacy to the Discussion Participation Levels and Satisfaction Levels in the Online Discussion Instruction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 온라인 토론 수업에서 학구적 자기효능감이 토론 참여도와 만족도에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구의 결과 분석을 통해 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 먼저, 온라인 토론 수업에서 학구적 자기효능감이 토론 참여도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 온라인 토론 수업에서 학구적 자기효능감과 토론 참여도가 토론 만족도에 영향을 주는 것으로 드러났다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해, 온라인 토론 수업에서 토론 참여도와 만족도의 질적 증진을 위해 학습자의 학구적 자기효능감을 활용할 것을 제안한다.

고등학생들의 생물 오개념 처치를 위한 수업모형 연구 (A Study of Science Teaching Models for Management Biological Misconceptions on High School Students)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate an appropriate instructional model in order to remedy students' misconception. As hypotheses of this study, three instructional models, cognitive conflicting, hypothesis testing, and learning cycle models, on biological 'osmosis' concept were tested in 176 high school students. Results of the present study are as follows: 1. All groups used one of three instructional models showed a statistically significant improvement in conceptual change on the 'osmosis' concept between before and after the instruction. In addition, the three hypothesized instructional models were more effective in conceptual change than a traditional expository instruction. 2. There was a statistically significant difference among three experimental groups. Cognitive conflicting model and hypothesis testing model was more effective than learning cycle models. 3. An interviewing after instruction showed that students who had scientific concept on the 'osmosis' through the instruction could effectively apply the concept to other context more than students who had no scientific concept through instruction. The present study indicated that instructional model play an important role on students' conceptual change in science classroom. According to the result of this study, the instruction emphasizing students' active participation in class and scientific reasoning process is more appropriate to remedy misconception that the instruction using students' passive participation in class and expository teaching procedure. This study also indicated that students' concept acquired through instruction is one of important factors to apply it to other context.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 취업준비행동에 관한 연구 (A study on employment preparation behavior in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate influences on employment preparation in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 386 dental hygiene students in South Korea from November 1 to 30, 2016. For data analysis, the study used independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis among others. Results: Students with higher grades tended to have major satisfaction, instruction participation, and employment preparation (P<0.001). Higher parental monthly income was related to higher major satisfaction (P<0.001). Employment preparation was significantly positively related to major selection motive, major satisfaction, and instruction participation. Conclusions: In order to encourage dental hygiene students to prepare for employment, it is necessary to create a better academic environment and develop a variety of employment preparation education programs. I think that the active interest of the country, society, school, and family will have a positive impact on employment preparation.

수학 중심 융복합 수업에 대한 효과 분석: 학생 소집단 활동 참여구조를 기반으로 (The Effect of Mathematics-Based Yungbokhap Instruction: An Analysis of Participation Structure in Small Group)

  • 본 연구는 최근 들어 관심이 증가하고 있는 융복합교육의 교육적 효과를 탐구하기 위해 수학 중심 융복합 수업의 모둠 활동 맥락에서 나타나는 학생들의 참여구조를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 수학 중심 융복합수업을 통해 학생 사이의 참여구조가 보다 협력적 지식 구성 활동을 지지하는 방향으로 변화하는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 초기수업에서는 특정 학생에 의해 모둠 활동과 토론이 주도되거나 타인의 의견을 무조건적 비판하는 경향을 보여서 소통을 기반으로 하는 협력적 참여구조가 나타나지 않았다. 반면 후기 수업에서는 학생들이 수학적 아이디어를 표현하고 공유하는 과정에서 근거를 바탕으로 타인의 의견에 대한 타당성을 확인하는 말하기로 변화하였다. 이러한 변화는 모둠 내에 학생들의 능동적 탐구와 협력적 소통을 기반으로 하는 참여구조가 등장하였음을 의미하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이와 같은 분석 결과는 수학 중심 융복합 수업이 학생 사이의 문제해결 능력과 협력적 소통 역량을 개발하는데 긍정적으로 기여하였음을 보여준다.

관악구 보육교사의 배식서비스 참여 및 식사지도 실태 : 영아반과 유아반의 비교 (Teachers' Participation and Mealtime Instruction in the Food Service at the Kwanak-gu Child-care Centers: Comparison between Child-care Teachers Caring Different Age Groups, Children Younger than Three Years and Those Three Years or Older)

  • This study was conducted to investigate how child-care teachers participate, practice mealtime instruction, and perceive difficulties in food service, focusing on comparison between the teachers caring two different age groups: children younger than three years (Younger Group) and those three years or older (Older Group). Questionnaires were distributed to 151 child-care centers in Kwanak-gu, Seoul, Korea during December, 2011. Only the data from 25 child-care centers, where two respective teachers in charge of Younger Group and Older Group completed the questionnaires, were analyzed. The results showed that there was no difference in terms of child-care teachers' participation in food service practice between the two groups, except for serving method; 'Pre-plated' serving was used significantly more often in Younger Group, whereas 'Line-up' serving was used in Older Group. Approximately, three quarters of the child-care centers had policies or guidelines on mealtime instruction. During mealtime, child-care teachers tended to use frequently verbal instructions such as "sit up straight when you eat" about eating manner, "don't be picky with your food" about eating habit, and "wash your hands before eating" about eating procedure in both the groups. There was no statistically significant difference regarding child-care teachers' perceived difficulties in food service between the two groups. These results indicated that child-care teachers' participation and mealtime instruction in food service did not differ between the two age groups, although children's development of digestion and eating skill differed by age. Therefore, training should be provided to child-care teachers about food service practices and mealtime instruction appropriate to children's age.

정보전문가의 교수활동지원을 위한 참고정보서비스 실태 분석 - 사서교사의 참고정보서비스를 중심으로 - (An Analysis on Reference Information Service of Teacher Librarians to Instruction in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 정보전문가의 교수활동 지원을 위한 참고정보서비스 실태를 사서교사의 참고정보서비스 참여를 중심으로 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 조사방법은 전국사서교사협의회 회원교(212개)와 전국에서 계약직 사서가 가장 많이 배치된 경기도의 2개 도시 학교도서관(115개) 사서전수(327명)를 대상으로 2006년 12월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 31일간 3차에 걸쳐 데이터를 수집하였으며, 총 254개(회수율 77.7%)의 질문지가 분석에 사용되었다. 그 결과 사서교사와 사서들은 독립변인(성별, 학교급. 근무경력, 고용구분)에 따라 교수활동지원을 위한 참고정보서비스 참여도에 차이가 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이 같은 문제를 해결하는 방안으로 문헌정보학 교과과정과 직무연수 등을 통해 교수활동 지원을 위한 참고정보서비스 교육을 강화할 것과 교수활동에 사서교사와 사서가 참여하여 참고정보서비스를 강화할 수 있는 제도적 장치를 마련할 것 등을 제언하였다.

  • This study intends to make a counterproposal for re-building existing high-rise/high-dense buildings and for planlessly re-constructing multi-dwellings. Also, it proposes the plan instruction fur reconstruction by small collective housings through annexing parcels in the residence Inner area. This study can be summarized as below: (1) Remained site generated by site boundaries can be utilized by annexing two or more parcels. (2) Vacant lots between buildings can be utilized as building space or common space by small-sized annexation. (3) Bad effect of residential environment caused by simultaneous development of total blocks can be minimized. (4) Formation of site size and plane, which are advantageous to reconstruction, is available. (5) Accessibility to neighboring roads can increase. (6) Residents' participation in development can increase in economical and planning aspect. In order to utilize these planning instruction, residents' participation and improved public ownership system for parcel annexation are required.

MQI를 이용한 예비교사와 현직교사의 수학수업의 질 분석 (Analysis of Mathematical Quality of Instruction between Preservice and Inservice Mathematics Teachers)

  • This study analyzed the quality of mathematics classes with observations using the instrument, MQI(Mathematical Quality of Instruction). Class recordings and interviews were conducted on 2 pre-service teachers and 4 in-service teachers. This study recorded and analyzed 3 or 4 classes for each mathematics teacher by using revised MQI. There were a total of 8 raters: 2 or 3 raters analyzed each class. MQI has four dimensions: Richness of the Mathematics, Working with Students and Mathematic, Errors and Imprecision, Student Participation in Meaning-Making and Reasoning. In the dimension of 'Richness of Mathematics', all teachers had good scores of 'explanations of teacher' but had lower scores of 'linking and connections', 'multiple procedures or solution methods' and 'developing mathematical generalizations.' In the dimension of 'Working with Students and Mathematics', two in-service teachers who have worked and having more experience had higher scores than others. In the dimension of 'Errors and Imprecision', all teachers had high scores. In the dimension of 'Student Participation in Meaning-Making and Reasoning', two pre-service teachers had contrast and also two in-service teachers who hadn't worked not long had contrast. Implications were deducted from finding to improving quality of mathematics classes.
