  • 디자인 패턴은 소프트웨어 -특히, 객체지향 소프트웨어- 의 개발시 재 사용성을 높기 위해서 사용되며, 이는 상속(Inheritance)과 같은 코드레벨 재사용 (code reuse) 보다 높은 레벨의 디자인 재사용 (design reuse)을 가능하게 한다. 디자인 패턴은 구체적인 문제에 대해 구체적인 해를 제공하는 cookbook과는 달리, 추상적인 문제에 대해 추상적인 해를 제시함으로써, 비슷한 부류의 문제에 적용할 수 있으므로 높은 재 사용성을 보장한다. 본 논문은 Retargetable한 특성을 갖는 Instruction set simulator의 개발에 디자인 패턴을 적용한 예를 보여줌으로써, 재 사용성 및 확장성을 높이는 방안을 소개한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 자기 주도적 학습 환경 구현에 매우 적합한 특성을 지니고 있는 웹을 통해 보다 효과적인 수학학습 시스템을 설계할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 기존의 Web에서 제공되는 수학학습을 살펴보면 텍스트 위주의 설명, 단순한 문제를 제공하고 정, 오답의 결과만을 보여 주는 형태가 많았다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 학생들의 흥미와 학습동기를 유발시키기 위해 동영상, 음성, 애니메이션 등의 멀티미디어 자료를 이용하여 학습내용을 전개하도록 구성하였다. 다양한 멀티미디어 자료의 제공으로 학습자의 학습동기와 흥미를 유발시키고 자기 주도적 학습을 가능하게 하여 학습 성취감을 증가시킬 수 있다.

Health Education Program Development for Infants, Toddlers and Preschool Children (영유아보건생활 교육프로그램 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a health education program for child care workers of infants, toddlers and preschoolers to improve their care ability. The program provided child care teachers and children with information on how to take care of their health. Method: This program development was based on a systematic design of instruction by Dick & Carey(1996). The process included a review of literature, setting an instructional goal, getting advice from various experts, designing instruction and instructional medias, designing formative evaluation, revising the program and making a summative evaluations. Result: The products of this program were the 'Teachers Guide Book & CD-ROM.' The guide book included health education programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The infant program included a basic baby care program for teachers. The toddlers and preschoolers program included basic health promotion, dental health, nutrition management, communicable disease prevention, substance abuse prevention and a safety program. Conclusion: These programs provided a systematic content of health education for children and their teachers, and useful data which can be applied to child care centers.

The Development and Effect of a Tailored Exercise Program on Physical Fitness in Patients with Parkinson's Disease (파킨슨병 맞춤운동프로그램의 개발 및 신체기능에 대한 효과)

  • Purpose: To develop & to examine the effect of a Tailored Exercise Program (TEP) on physical fitness in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Method: In a two-group pre-and post-test design, from a total 41 participants. 21 were assigned th the experimental group find the remainder to the control group. The experimental group participated in a 4-day a week, 8 week program in which one session a week was by direct instruction with the self-help group and two sessions a week were by videotaped instruction at home by themselves. The control group did not receive any intervention. Results: The eight week TEP in patients with PD was found to be significantly effective in enhancing muscle strength, ankle flexibility, and balance. However instrumental activities of daily living was not changed by the intervention. Conclusion: These results suggest that TEP can have an effect on physical fitness in patients with PD. Further research with a larger sample and for a longer follow up period is needed to expand our understanding of the effects of TEP for patients with PD.

  • The aim of this study is to show that using a Web-Based Instruction system is a better method to help counteract deficient teaching, learning conditions and facilities thus improving the students' interest, understanding, participation and skill development in Physical Education. The key findings of this study are as follows; The first advantage of using this system is that the theory of Softball is explained with the use of pictures rather than text, thus improving the students' understanding. The second is the method in which practical skills are explained and demonstrated. Action image sequences are used as opposed to the old method of using stationary pictures. This means that the learners can clearly see and understand why and, more importantly, how to use these skills. The third advantage is the technique used to teach the application of these skills. Using active rather than passive learning and thus engaging the student encourages improved participation and learning. The fourth advantage comes in evaluation: both subjective and objective questions are asked in theoretical evaluation, and the teachers can evaluate the students' understanding and skill development by filming their actual Softball games.   • The purposes of this study were to be free from the fixed instruction and help students have confidence in computer education and improve finding a solution voluntarily. The researcher designed the project instruction of UCC to enhance the community spirit through understanding the problems and solving those. The results of this study are as follows. First, learner changed their consideration in social education. They changed positively the thought about computer education: Form It is tedious and a memoriter subject.' to 'It's fun and good to do by ourselves. Second, students interested in UCC and doing it more actively. Especially, they enhanced the skill of using informations in both on and off-line and community spirit through helping each team members. This shows possibility and availability in not only social studying but also various adaption in other subjects. The researcher provides it would be better if this developed model should be practiced in school and examined the effectiveness in other aspects. lastly in other to examine its validity of enhancing problem-solving and effectiveness of interaction in community, the standard questionnaire and testing tools will be developed in the future.

A linear array SliM-II image processor chip (선형 어레이 SliM-II 이미지 프로세서 칩)

  • This paper describes architectures and design of a SIMD type parallel image processing chip called SliM-II. The chiphas a linear array of 64 processing elements (PEs), operates at 30 MHz in the worst case simulation and gives at least 1.92 GIPS. In contrast to existing array processors, such as IMAP, MGAP-2, VIP, etc., each PE has a multiplier that is quite effective for convolution, template matching, etc. The instruction set can execute an ALU operation, data I/O, and inter-PE communication simulataneously in a single instruction cycle. In addition, during the ALU/multiplier operation, SliM-II provides parallel move between the register file and on-chip memory as in DSP chips, SliM-II can greatly reduce the inter-PE communication overhead, due to the idea a sliding, which is a technique of overlapping inter-PE communication with computation. Moreover, the bandwidth of data I/O and inter-PE communication increases due to bit-parallel data paths. We used the COMPASS$^{TM}$ 3.3 V 0.6.$\mu$m standrd cell library (v8r4.10). The total number of transistors is about 1.5 muillions, the core size is 13.2 * 13.0 mm$^{2}$ and the package type is 208 pin PQ2 (Power Quad 2). The performance evaluation shows that, compared to a existing array processors, a proposed architeture gives a significant improvement for algorithms requiring multiplications.s.

  • In this paper we describe designing and implementing a digital neural chip and a parallel neural machine for simulating large scale neural netsorks. The chip is a single-chip multiprocessor which has four digiral neural processors (DNP-II) of the same architecture. Each DNP-II has program memory and data memory, and the chip operates in MIMD (multi-instruction, multi-data) parallel processor. The DNP-II has the instruction set tailored to neural computation. Which can be sed to effectively simulate various neural network models including on-chip learning. The DNP-II facilitates four-way data-driven communication supporting the extensibility of parallel systems. The parallel neural machine consists of a host computer, processor boards, a buffer board and an interface board. Each processor board consists of 8*8 array of DNP-II(equivalently 2*2 neural chips). Each processor board acn be built including linear array, 2-D mesh and 2-D torus. This flexibility supports efficiency of mapping from neural network models into parallel strucgure. The neural system accomplishes the performance of maximum 40 GCPS(giga connection per second) with 16 processor boards.

  • Along with the advance of Information technology and the introduction of the information era, cyber education through the internet has been activated in universities and private educational organization. However, most cyber education is not being practically applied in government employ. This study looks at the influential factors of cyber education in order to create a cyberspace where the public official can obtain information at a place and time convenient to them. This will provide a chance to activate cyber education effectively. The hypothesis was approved through multiple regression analysis was executed in order to explain and predict the relationship between influential factors and cyber education effects. The results of the study show the influential factors of education effect as follows: - the instruction design and contents factors such as interesting educational contents, interaction between leamers and teacher, and positive instruction, all had an important influence. - the learner factors, such as a desire to leam, motivation, and interest in the lesson, also had a significant influence. - the environmental factors such as systematical basis and support, atmosphere, and consideration of others had a large effect on the education effect.
