온도 및 전류의 과도응답 제어가 가능한 SOA Driver에 관한 연구 (A Study on SOA Driver with Capability to Control Current and Temperature Transient Response)

  • In this paper, SOA Current and Temperature Driver which consisted of LabVIEW programming part capable of current and temperature transient response pattern design, DAQ module for analog voltage in&out, and voltage to current converting chips has realized. The output current(possible to 3A) from the Driver to SOA was clearly constant without ripple and also showed no variance until 1mA unit for a long time operation. The temperature of TEC took several seconds to reach a set temperature, and were maintained stably within ${\pm}^0.1{\circ}C$ for several hours. The proposed Driver can replace the previous high cost SOA Drivers for wavelength swept lasers fully and provides the convenience of transient response design capability for current and temperature.

토로이드형 변압기의 일관성있는 설계법과 그 최적화 알고리즘 (Unified Design Method for Toroidal Transformer and its Optimal Algorithm)

  • This study proposes a unified method to design toroidal transformer and its optimal design algorithm. This unified design method was derived from the fundamental equation of power on the basis of electromagnetic energy of a core and the definition of three parameters(K1, K2, KW) that influence the form of a core and the ratio of a core and coil. Accordingly this design method condenses the whole data for design of toroidal transformer to a standard variable which is the inner diameter of a core. The minimal cost, weight and volume values of the transformer were computed by means of the algorithm to search the optimal values of the parameters. Furthermore, through the CAD, the efficiency of this unified design method and optimal algorithm proposed in this paper was confirmed.

  • To enhance the reliability of distribution transformers in service and to reduce the cost of maintaining and replaceing these, the condition and life of those insulating system should be evaluated accurately and the time to replace should be determined economically. Since the transformer failures related to insulation failure indicates that the primary cause is normally mechanical failure of integrity due to loss of mechanical strength as a result of degradation, the tensile strength characteristics of paper during ageing under accelerated conditions in insulating oil and research trends for assessing the life of insulating paper were investigated.

  • Brushless DC Motor(PM BLDCM) is widely used in industrial applications due to its high efficiency and power density. In order to increase reliability and reduce system cost, this paper studies particularly applicable method for sensorless PM BLDCM drive system. The resulting third harmonic signal keeps a constant phase relationship with the rotor flux for any motor speed and load condition, and is practically free of noise that can be introduced by the inverter switching, making this a robust sensing method. As a result, the method described here is not sensitive to filtering delays, allowing the motor to achieve a good performance over a wide speed range. In addition, a simple starting method and a speed estimation approach are also proposed.

  • EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility) is the ability of an electronic device that operates properly in its intended electromagnetic environment and not be a source of pollution to that environment. The designer anticipates EMC problems at beginning of the process and finds remaining problems in early prototype stages, and tests the final prototypes for EMC as thoroughly as possible. This is a more cost-effective method. In this paper, it analyzes EMC problems that were appeared in actual measurement of electric power control device and presents reduction technique of these problems.

  • 전력변환기와 같은 비선형 부하의 사용증가는 전력시스템에 고조파를 발생시킨다. 고조파를 포함하는 전류와 전압은 전기설비에 고장과 오동작을 일으키게된다. 위상조정 변압기는 고조파 발생원이 병렬로 설치되어 있는 곳에 설치하면 고조파 문제를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 EDSA고조파 분석 프로그램을 사용하여 고조파를 제거하기 위한 위상조정 변압기의 효과를 분석하고 검증하였다.

고성능저가형 지중열교환기 개발연구 (Development of High Peformance Geothermal heatexchanger)

  • Geothermal heat exchanger(GHEX) is a major component of Geothermal heat pump system(GSHPs). In Common, We use the vertical type GHEX in Korea. But vertical type GHEX needs a high cost for installation, because of drilling the hole which has 200m depth at max. So, We suggest the use of horizontal type GHEX. When we construct buildins, We excavate the ground and we can install the horizontal type GHEX at the excavated underground. It's very cheap and convenient method compare to vertical type GHEX installation. This study is peformed to estimate the peformance of horizontal type GHEX and to analyze effects of heat exchanger types and undergroundwater. As the result, slinky type GHEX has a 66% efficiency compare to vertical type GHEX and mat type has a 201% efficiency at the undergroundwater zone.

  • The Alternative energy has lately attracted considerable attention due to the high oil price and environment problem. In this study, pilot test facility for using the geothermal energy source from riverbank filtration was constructed and monitoring devices are installed to estimate the efficiency of this system. Initial installation cost can be saved efficiently by connect ing a heat pump system into the exist ing pumping well in Changwon riverbank filtration site. One set of monitoring results during summer was presented and analyzed.

  • Recently, small hydropower attracts attention because of its clean renewable and abundant energy resources to develop. However, suitable turbine type is not normalized yet in the range of small hydropower and it is necessary to study for the effect ive turbine type. Moreover, relatively high manufacturing cost by the complex structure of the turbine is the highest barrier for developing the small hydropower turbine. Therefore, this study is trying not only, to classify the type of current operating turbines installed in the domestic power plants and turbines supplied in Japan by Japanese manufacturer but also, to examine the practical turbine type and installation site to extract the small hydropower energy effectively.

  • 본 논문은 인터넷과 데이터베이스를 이용한 온라인/오프라인 통합 야외 조명시설 관리 시스템의 개발하고, 제어함과 조명등을 위한 데이터베이스의 구축에 관하여 연구한 내용이다. 또한 연구 결과물의 효용성을 높이기 위해 기존에 사용하는 양식을 기초로 개발하여 새로운 시스템의 적용 시 적응이 용이하도록 하였다. 따라서 온라인/오프라인 통합 야외 조명시설 관리를 통하여 조명시설 정보의 효과적인 운용이 가능하도록 개발하였으며, 이 시스템을 통하여 인력 및 유지보수비를 줄이는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
