유전 알고리즘에 의한 플랜트 보전을 위한 최적검사기간 결정 방법론 (Decision-making Method of Optimum Inspection Interval for Plant Maintenance by Genetic Algorithms)

  • The operation and management of a plant require proper accounting for the constraints coming from reliability requirements as well as from budget and resource considerations. Most of the mathematical methods to decide the inspection time interval for plant maintenance by reliability theory are too complicated to be solved. Moreover, the mathematical and theoretical models are not usually cases in the practical applications. In order to overcome these problems, we propose a new the decision-making method of optimal inspection interval to minimize the maintenance cost by reliability theory and genetic algorithm (GA). The most merit of the proposed method is to decide the inspection interval for a plant machine of which failure rate $\lambda$(t) conforms to any probability distribution. Therefore, this method is more practical. The efficiency of the proposed method is verified by comparing the results obtained by GA-based method with the inspection model haying regular time interval.

  • The purpose of this research aimed at performing the easy design. and also the easy on-the-job application or the maintenance interval determination methodology by presenting the determining model or the optimizing maintenance interval in TBM for the preventive maintenance or facility TBM(time-based maintenance) as the preventive maintenance requires the adequate determination or the maintenance interval. The maintenance interval or TBM shall be applied differently for the each interval such as He patrol inspection, maintenance, overhaul inspection. exchange. And it is based on the composition level of equipment. The already informed theories or interval determination methodology for the patrol inspection. repair. and overhaul inspection are difficult for adopting because or the several restriction problems in applying the maintenance schemes as the theory So, the model for determining the optimizing exchange interval or part, maintenance interval of auxiliary machine, unit equipment etc. was presented to apply in the maintenance easily and appropriately.

  • This paper considers a nonparametric estimation of lifetime distribution for ramp stress tests with stress bound under intermittent inspection. The test items are inspected only at specified time points an⊂1 so the collected observations are grouped data. Under the cumulative exposure model, two nonparametric estimation methods of estimating the lifetime distribution at use condition stress are proposed for the situation which the time transformation function relating stress to lifetime is a type of the inverse power law. Each of items is initially put on test under ramp stress and then survivors are put on test under constant stress, where all failures in the Inspection interval are assumed to occur at the midi)oint or the endpoint of that interval. Two proposed estimators of quantile from grouped data consisting of the number of items failed in each inspection interval are numerically compared with the maximum likelihood estimator(MLE) based on Weibull distribution.

  • 한국해군은 1978년에 하푼 유도탄을 최초 도입 후 단계적인 획득을 통하여 현재까지 운용하고 있다. 하푼 유도탄을 장기 운용함에 따라 성능보장을 위한 적극적인 후속 군수지원이 필요하며, 유도탄 검사는 유도탄 상태를 확인하기 위한 기본 활동이다. 본 연구는 장기간 운용 중인 하푼 유도탄의 기존 검사주기가 적절한지 확인하기 위하여 수행되었으며, 연구 방법은 해군의 야전운용자료를 바탕으로 Martinez 이론과 비모수적 MCF 기법을 활용하여 운용 기간에 따른 구간별 검사주기를 분석하여 제시하였다.

  • We have developed a highly sensitive inspection technique based on an electron beam inspection for detecting the contact failure of a poly-Si plugged layer. It was difficult to distinguish the contact failure from normal landing plugs with high impedance. Normally, the thermal annealing method has been used to decrease the impedance of poly-Si plugs and this method increases the difference of charged characteristics and voltage contrast. However, the additional process made the loss of time and broke down the device characteristics. Here, the interval scanning method without thermal annealing was effectively applied to enhance the difference of surface voltage between well-contacted poly-Si plugs and incomplete contact plugs. It is extremely useful to detect the contact failures of non-annealed plug contacts with high impedance.

  • Usually, railway axles are designed for infinite life based on endurance limit of the material and the axle is not fractured immediately when a surface crack initiated. The railway axles have been inspected regularly by NDT such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic testing and eddy current testing and so on. Because the axle failure is profoundly influenced by the probability of missing a fatigue crack during an NDT inspection, it is necessary to evaluate the Non Destructive Interval of railway axle. In the present paper, the Non Destructive Interval of railway axle based on fracture mechanics and finite element analysis was investigated. It was shown that the Non Destructive Interval of railway axle can be evaluated using fracture mechanics approach and extended using NDT which a crack can detect clearly.

  • In this paper, an inspection and replacement policy in a redundant system is considered. It is assumed that the state of the redundant system is known by inspection. When the system is inspected, it is preventively replaced only if the number of failed units exceeds the predetermined limit. Otherwise, the system is inspected after a inspection interval which depends on the number of failed units. We obtain the optimal number of redundant units, inspection intervals and replacement limit minimizing the expected cost rate.

  • Genetic Algorithm (GA) is applied to obtain optimal Inspection plan for fatigue deteriorating structures. The optimization problem is defined so as to minimize inspection cost in the 1ifs-time of the structure under the constraint that the increment of failure probability in each inspection interval is maintained below a target value. Optimization parameters are the inspection timing and the inspection quality. The inspection timing is selected from the discrete intervals such as one year, two years, three years, etc. The inspection quality is selected from the followings; no inspection, normal inspection, sampling inspection or precise inspection. The applicability of the proposed GA approach is demonstrated through the numerical calculations assuming a structure consisting of four member sets. Influences of the level of target failure probability, initial defect condition and stress increase due to plate thickness reduction caused by corrosion on inspection planning are discussed.

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 구성품으로 구성된 시스템에 대해 Hidden Failure를 고려하여 최적의 계획 정비 스케줄링 문제에 대해 연구하였다. 계획 정비 스케줄링의 목적은 장기 운용 유지비용 최소화이다. 시스템 측면에서는 다수의 구성품을 그룹화하여 검사함으로써 시스템이 정지함으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 비용을 최소화 할 수 있다. 또한 각 구성품 별로 적절한 검사 주기를 선정하여 고장을 조기에 확인함으로써 고장 발생으로 인한 비용을 최소화 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 계산의 복잡성을 줄이기 위해 기존 연구에서 사용한 "Base interval approach"를 적용하였으며 추가적으로 다수 구성품의 동시 검사를 통한 검사비용 절감 효과를 고려하였다. 검사비용은 소요되는 시설, 장비 및 인력 비용으로 구성된다고 가정하였으며 유사한 구성품을 동시에 검사함으로써 검사비용이 절감되는 경우에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 검사비용 절감 효과를 비교하기 위해 기존 연구에서 활용한 사례를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였고 이에 따른 비용 절감 효과를 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교하여 제시한다.
