제어입력 크기제한을 갖는 시스템에서 외란 응답 감소를 위한 이득 스케쥴 제어 - 이론 (Gain Scheduled Control for Disturbance Attenuation of Systems with Bounded Control Input - Theory)

  • A new gain-scheduled control design is proposed to improve disturbance attenuation for systems with bounded control input. The state feedback controller is scheduled according to the proximity to the origin of the state of the plant. The controllers is derived in the framework of linear matrix inequality(LMI) optimization. This procedure yields a linear time varying control structure that allows higher gain and hence higher performance controllers as the state move closer to the origin. The main results give sufficient conditions for the satisfaction of a parameter-dependent performance measure, without violating the bounded control input condition.

  • A new optimal state feedback and disturbance feedforward control design in the sense of minimizing $L_{2}-gain$ from disturbance to control output is proposed for disturbance attenuation of systems with bounded control input and measurable disturbance. The controller is derived in the framework of linear matrix inequality(LMI) optimization. A gain scheduled state feedback and disturbance feedforward control design is also suggested to improve disturbance attenuation performance. Stable Input-Constrained Neural-Net Controller for Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

  • This paper describes the design of a robust adaptive controller for a nonlinear dynamical system with unknown nonlinearities. These unknown nonlinearities are approximated by multilayered neural networks (MNNs) whose parameters are adjusted on-line, according to some adaptive laws far controlling the output of the nonlinear system, to track a given trajectory. The main contribution of this paper is a method for considering input constraint with a rigorous stability proof. The Lyapunov synthesis approach is used to develop a state-feedback adaptive control algorithm based on the adaptive MNN model. An overall control system guarantees that the tracking error converges at about zero and that all signals involved are uniformly bounded even in the presence of input saturation. Theoretical results are illustrated through a simulation example.

A Robust Adaptive Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Subject to Parameter Uncertainties and Input Saturations

  • To achieve high performance speed regulation, a robust adaptive speed controller is proposed for the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) subject to parameter uncertainties and input saturations in this paper. A nonlinear adaptive control is introduced to compensate the PMSM speed tracking errors due to uncertainties, disturbances and control input saturation constraints. By combining the adaptive control and the nonlinear robust control based on the interconnection and damping assignment (IDA) strategy, a new robust adaptive control is designed for speed regulation of PMSM. Stability and robustness of the closed-loop control system involved with the constrained control inputs rather than unconstrained control inputs are validated. Simulations for PMSM control in the presence of uncertainties and saturations nonlinearities show that the proposed approach is effective to regulate speed, and the average tracking error using the proposed approach is at least 32% smaller than the compared methods.

  • 딥러닝은 대용량의 데이터의 분류 및 예측하는 방법으로 각광받고 있다. 데이터의 양이 많아지면서 신경망의 구조는 더 깊어 지고 있다. 이때 초기값이 지나치게 클 경우 층이 깊어 질수록 활성화 함수의 기울기가 매우 작아지는 포화(Saturation)현상이 발생한다. 이러한 포화현상은 가중치의 학습능력을 저하시키는 현상을 발생시키기 때문에 초기값의 중요성이 커지고 있다.이런 포화현상 문제를 해결하기 위해 Glorot과 Bengio (2010)과 He 등 (2015) 층과 층 사이에 데이터가 다양하게 흘러야 효율적인 신경망학습이 가능하고 주장했다. 데이터가 다양하게 흐르기 위해서는 각 층의 출력에 대한 분산과 입력에 대한 분산이 동일해야 한다고 제안했다. Glorot과 Bengio (2010)과 He 등 (2015)는 각 층별 활성화 값의 분산이 같다고 가정해 초기값을 설정하였다. 본 논문에서는 절단된 코쉬 분포와 절단된 정규분포를 활용하여 초기값을 설정하는 방안을 제안한다. 출력에 대한 분산과 입력에 대한 분산의 값을 동일하게 맞춰주고 그 값이 절단된 확률분포의 분산과 같게 적용함으로써 큰 초기값이 나오는 걸 제한하고 0에 가까운 값이 나오도록 분포를 조정하였다. 제안된 방법은 MNIST 데이터와 CIFAR-10 데이터를 DNN과 CNN 모델에 각각 적용하여 실험함으로써 기존의 초기값 설정방법보다 모델의 성능을 좋게 한다는 것을 보였다.

Magnetic Saturation Effect of the Iron Core in Current Transformers Under Lightning Flow

  • A current transformer (CT) is a type of sensor that consists of a combination of electric and magnetic circuits, and it measures large ac currents. When a large amount of current flows into the primary winding, the alternating magnetic flux in the iron core induces an electromotive force in the secondary winding. The characteristics of a CT are determined by the iron core design because the iron core is saturated above a certain magnetic flux density. In particular, when a large current, such as a current surge, is input into a CT, the iron core becomes saturated and the induced electromotive force in the secondary winding fluctuates severely. Under these conditions, the CT no longer functions as a sensor. In this study, the characteristics of the secondary winding were investigated using the time-difference finite element method when a current surge was provided as an input. The CT was modeled as a two-dimensional analysis object using constraints, and the saturation characteristics of the iron core were evaluated using the Newton-Rhapson method. The results of the calculation were compared with the experimental data. The results of this study will prove useful in the designs of the iron core and the windings of CTs.

궤도민감도 분석에 기반하여 복입력 전력시스템 안정화 장치(Dual-Input PSS)의 비선형 파라미터 최적화 기법 (Optimal Tuning of Nonlinear Parameters of a Dual-Input Power System Stabilizer Based on Analysis of Trajectory Sensitivities)

  • This paper focuses on optimal tuning of nonlinear parameters of a dual-input power system stabilizer(dual-input PSS), which can improve the system damping performance immediately following a large disturbance. Until recently, various PSS models have developed to bring stability and reliability to power systems, and some of these models are used in industry applications. However, due to non-smooth nonlinearities from the interaction between linear parameters(gains and time constants of linear controllers) and nonlinear parameters(saturation output limits), the output limit parameters cannot be determined by the conventional tuning methods based on linear analysis. Only ad hoc tuning procedures('trial and error' approach) have been used. Therefore, the steepest descent method is applied to implement the optimal tuning of the nonlinear parameters of the dual-input PSS. The gradient required in this optimization technique can be computed from trajectory sensitivities in hybrid system modeling with the differential-algebraic-impulsive-switched(DAIS) structure. The optimal output limits of the dual-input PSS are evaluated by time-domain simulation in both a single machine infinite bus(SMIB) system and a multi-machine power system in comparison with those of a single-input PSS.

공감각인지기반 컬러이미지-음악요소 변환에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Conversion of Color Image into Musical Elements based on a Synesthetic Perception)

  • 본 연구는 컬러영상에서 특정소리를 연상시킬 수 있는 공감각 인지현상에 기반하여 컬러이미지에서 음악요소로 변환하는 시스템의 구현을 최종 목표로 한다. 이는 빛과 소리의 물리적 주파수정보사이의 유사도를 기반으로 이루어진다. 입력 컬러영상은 우선 컬러모델변환이론에 기초하여 색상(Hue), 채도(Saturation) 및 명도(Intensity)영역으로 변환된다. 음계, 옥타브, 크기 및 시간길이 등의 음악적 성분들이 HSI 컬러모델의 각 영역으로부터 추출된다. 기본주파수(F0, Fundamental Frequency)는 색상 및 명도 히스토그램에서 추출되고, 크기 및 시간길이성분은 명도와 채도 히스토그램에서 추출된다. 실험에서, 제안된 시스템은 표준 C 및 VC++ 기반에서 실현되었고, 최종적으로 WAV 포맷의 사운드파일이 생성되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해서 입력 컬러영상에서 추출된 음악적 요소들이 출력 사운드신호에 반영됨을 알 수 있었다.

히스토그램과 감마보정 기반의 노출 조정을 이용한 다중 노출 영상 합성 기법 (Modified Exposure Fusion with Improved Exposure Adjustment Using Histogram and Gamma Correction)

  • 노출 합성은 두 장 이상의 서로 다른 노출 값을 갖는 좁은 동적 영역 영상을 합쳐 한 장의 넓은 동적 영역을 갖는 결과 영상을 생성하는 알고리듬이다. 본 논문은 블록기반의 지역적 특성을 고려한 노출 조정 기법과 개선된 채도 특성 요소를 이용해 가중치 맵을 생성하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 제안하는 노출 조정 기법은 인간시각체계의 특성을 고려하여 입력 영상의 노출 값을 보정함으로써 노출 합성 결과 영상 내의 세밀한 부분을 효과적으로 보존한다. 개선된 채도 영상은 입력 영상 내의 포화 영역을 효과적으로 반영한 가중치맵을 생성한다. 본 논문은 기존의 대표적인 노출 합성 알고리듬과의 주관적 화질과 MEF-SSIM, 수행 시간 비교를 통해 제안하는 알고리듬의 우수성을 입증하였다.
