Gain Scheduled Discrete Time Control for Disturbance Attenuation of Systems with Bounded Control Input (제어입력 크기제한을 갖는 시스템에서 외란 응답 감소를 위한 이산시간 이득 스케줄 제어)

  • A new discrete time gain-scheduled control design is proposed to improve disturbance attenuation for systems with bounded control input under known disturbance maximum norm. The state feedback gains are scheduled according to the proximity of the state of the plant to the origin. The controllers are derived in the framework of linear matrix inequality(LMI) optimization. This procedure yields a linear time varying control structure that allows higher gain and hence higher performance controllers as the state moves closer to the origin. The main results give sufficient conditions for the satisfaction of a parameter-dependent performance measure, without violating the bounded control input condition under the given disturbance maximum norm.

  • A new optimal state feedback and disturbance feedforward control design in the sense of minimizing $L_{2}-gain$ from disturbance to control output is proposed for disturbance attenuation of systems with bounded control input and measurable disturbance. The controller is derived in the framework of linear matrix inequality(LMI) optimization. A gain scheduled state feedback and disturbance feedforward control design is also suggested to improve disturbance attenuation performance.   • The problem of controlling a finite-state asynchronous sequential machine is examined. The considered machine is governed by input/output control, where access to the state of the machine is not available. In particular, disturbance inputs can infiltrate into the asynchronous machine and provoke unauthorized state transitions. The control objective is to use output feedback to compensate the machine so that the closed-loop system drive the faulty asynchronous machine from a failed state to the original one. Necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of appropriate controllers are presented in a theoretical framework. As a case study, the closed-loop system of an asynchronous machine with the proposed control scheme is implemented in VHDL code.

  • One of the most important technologies today is augmented reality technology, it allows users to experience the real world using virtual objects that are combined with the real world. This technology is interesting and has become applied in many sectors such as the shopping and medicine, also it has been included in the sector of education. In the field of education, AR technology has become widely used due to its effectiveness. It has many benefits, such as arousing students' interest in learning imaginative concepts that are difficult to understand. On the other hand, studies have proven that collaborative between students increases learning opportunities by exchanging information, and this is known as Collaborative Learning. The use of multimodal creates a distinctive and interesting experience, especially for students, as it increases the interaction of users with the technologies. The research aims at developing collaborative framework for developing achievement of 6th graders through designing a framework that integrated a collaborative framework with a multimodal input "hand-gesture and touch", considering the development of an effective, fun and easy to use framework with a multimodal interaction in AR technology that was applied to reformulate the genetics and traits lesson from the science textbook for the 6th grade, the first semester, the second lesson, in an interactive manner by creating a video based on the science teachers' consultations and a puzzle game in which the game images were inserted. As well, the framework adopted the cooperative between students to solve the questions. The finding showed a significant difference between post-test and pre-test of the experimental group on the mean scores of the science course at the level of remembering, understanding, and applying. Which indicates the success of the framework, in addition to the fact that 43 students preferred to use the framework over traditional education.

  • We present a legorization framework that produces a LEGO model from user-specified 3D mesh model. Our framework is composed of two stages: voxelization and legorization. In the voxelization, input 3D mesh is converted to a voxel model. To preserve the shape of the 3D mesh, we devise a silhouette fitting process for the initial voxel model. For legorization, we propose three objectives: stability, aesthetics and efficiency. These objectives are expressed in a tiling equation, which builds a LEGO model using layer-by-layer approach. We legorize five models including characters and buildings to prove the excellence of our framework.

  • In this paper we present a framework for a novel kind of context-aware preference query composition whereby queries for the Preference SQL system are created. We choose a commercial e-business platform for outdoor activities as a use case and develop a context model for this domain within our framework. The suggested model considers explicit user input, domain-specific knowledge, contextual knowledge and location-based sensor data in a comprehensive approach. Aside from the theoretical background of preferences, the optimization of preference queries and our novel generator based model we give special attention to the aspects of the implementation and the practical experiences. We provide a sketch of the implementation and summarize our user studies which have been done in a joint project with an industrial partner.

  • Predicting the preferences of users and providing the personalized services/products based on users' preferences is one of the important issues. However, the research considering users' preferences on context-aware computing is a relatively insufficient research field. Hence, this paper aims to propose a framework for providing the personalized services based on context history in context-aware computing. Based on this framework, we have implemented a prototype system to show the feasibility of the framework. Previous researches have reasoned the preferences of the user considering only the user's input, but this research provides the personalized services using the relationship between users' profile and services.

  • This paper describes a research result on automatic generation of abstract test cases from formal specifications by applying many related algorithms and techniques such as the testing framework, rural Chinese postman tour and unique input output sequence concepts. In addition, an efficient algorithm for verifying the strong connectivity of the reference finite state machine and the concept of unique event sequence are explained. We made use of several techniques to from an integrated framework for abstract test case generation from LOTOS and SDL specifications. A prototype of the proposed framework has been built with special attention to real protocol in order to generate the executable test cases in an automatic way. The abstract test cases in tree and tabular combined notation (TTCN) language will be applied to the TTCN compiler in order to obtain the executable test cases which re relevant to the industrial application.
