근적외선 분광분석을 통한 산무수물경화 에폭시 시스템의 경화 동력학 (Cure Kinetics for the Acid Anhydride-cured Epoxy System Using a Near-infrared Reflection Spectroscopy)

  • 산무수물 경화 에폭시 수지의 잠재 특성 및 경화 동력학을 근적외선 분광분석법을 통해서 논의하였다. 잠재 특성과 경화 거동의 확인은 각기 다른 온도에서 에폭사이드와 수산기의 NIR reflectance를 측정함으로써 행해졌으며 반응 과정에서 4000~7100$cm^{-1}$ / 스펙트럼 범위의 주된 NIR 흡수피크의 기점, 위치 그리고 전이에 대한 포괄적인 분석이 이루어졌다. 반응의 정도는 에폭사이드의 함량과 경화 온도에 의존적인 4530$cm^{-1}$ /의 NIR 흡수 피크로부터 결정하였다.

Self-Assembled and Langmuir-Blodgett Arachidic Acid Monolayers on Silver: A Comparative Reflection-Absorption Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic Study

  • Self-assembled (SA) and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) monolayers of arachidic acid on silver surfaces have been investigated by a reflection-absorption Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Arachidic acid was adsorbed on silver as carboxylate with its two oxygen atoms bound symmetrically to the surface. Although both the SA and LB monolayers consisted of fully extended trans zigzag carbon chains, a closer examination indicated that the SA monotayers should possess a more ordered crystalline structure than the LB monolayers. The infrared spectral data dictated that the extent of methyl group exposure at the air-film interface was greater in the SA monolayers than the LB monolayers, in agreement with the contact angle measurement. From a theoretical analysis, the alkyl chains in each monolayers seemed to be tilted away from the surface normal by less than $3.5^{\circ}$, but in opposite directions. Arachidic acid monolayers were concluded to have same structure as stearic acid monolayers.

  • A spectral measurement system for reflection and transmission properties by using an optical fiber and an ellipsoidal mirror was newly developed. The hemispherical reflectance and transmittance spectra of several heating resisting ceramics materials were measured from visible to middle infrared region. The directional characteristics of reflection and transmission were also investigated in consideration of the absorptance. The measured data were analyzed by using a four flux model of radiation transfer, The radiation properties could be estimated by the obtained scattering and absorption coefficient spectra.

세라믹 초전도 전자 소자 (Ceramics Superconducting Electronic Device for Infrared detector)

  • The ceramics superconductor may have a high degree of homogeneity and a more open structure through which atoms can easily diffuse without having to overcome the high activation barrier. Infrared detectors of ceramic superconductor materials have been studied. Ceramic superconductor have smaller reflection coefficient than metal superconductor and therefore infrared light can more easily penetrate into bulks. YBCO thick films show sensitivity of 250 V/W. The accumulation of particles decrease the superconducting energy gap.

부석사 조사당 벽화조사에 따른 적외선 T.V카메라 이용 (On the Mural Paintings Detectedc by through the Infrared T.V.Camera at Josadang, Busuk Temple)

  • In the fields of the cultural properties, the Infrared TV camera is being initiated to use instead of the Infrared photo film fo a better means to detect the description of drawings of the paintings. Seeing from the effect of transillumination, the Infrared TV camera with its long wave of visible spectrum that makes less absorption by the pigments and with the reflection rays passing through the base of colour layers makes it able to findbase drawing and letters. The detection range of transillumination by the infrared rays depends on the kinds of pigments, lines of the base drawing and wave length of the infrared rays. In our country, it was the first time to detect by our Conservation Science Dep't of The Research Institute of Cultural Properties by means of using Infrared TV camera to determine the mural paintings on the Josadang, Busuk Temple, resulted in an epoch-making success, that we have come to know the painting technique methods, how to treat for its conservation and making replica, reproduction, etc.

반사법에 의한 재료표면의 적외선 방사율 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Infrared Emissivity Measurement of Material Surface by Reflection Method)

  • 적외선 열화상 카메라를 이용하여 온도를 측정할 때는 측정 대상물질의 적외선 방사율이 중요하다. 적외선 방사율은 흑체와 물체의 적외선 방사 강도비로 구할 수 있으나, 상온에서는 배경의 영향으로 인해 측정하는 것은 용이하지 않다. 따라서 FT-IR를 이용하여 반사법에 의해 강판 및 강판에 코팅된 도료의 적외선 반사율을 측정하고 적외선 방사용을 구하였다. 연마된 강판은 0.06 ~ 0.10의 적외선 방사율을 나타내고 있으며, 비연마 강판은 표면조도에 의해 광학적 특성의 변화로 인한 적외선 방사율 측정에 오차가 발생하였다. 강판에 코팅된 투명도료는 적외선 흡수로 인해 방사율은 0.50 ~ 0.84 정도로 높아졌으며, 도료의 적외선 흡수 밴드에 의해 파장에 따라 방사율도 변한다. 이 실험을 통해 재료표변의 재질, 두께, 조도 등 표면 상태에 따라 적외선의 광학적 특성이 변하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 반사법은 금속 및 금속에 코팅된 도료의 적외선 방사율 측정에 유용한 것으로 판단되며, 측정된 적외선 방사율을 적외선 열화상에 제공함으로서 측정온도의 오차를 줄일 수 있다.

지능로봇용 위치인식 시스템 개발 (Development of Localization Sensor System for Intelligent Robots)

  • A service robot can identify its own position relative to landmarks, the locations of which are known in advance. The main contribution of this research is that it gives various ways of making the self-localizing error smaller by referring to special landmarks which are developed as high gain reflection material and coded array associations. In this paper, the authors propose a set of indices to evaluate the accuracy of self-localizing methods using the selective reflection landmark and infrared projector, and the indices are derived from the sensitivity enhancement using 3D distortion calibration of camera. And then, the accurarcy of self-localizing a mobile robot with landmarks based on the indices is evaluated, and a rational way to minimize to reduce the computational cost of selecting the best self-localizing method. The simulation results show a high accuracy and a good performance.

한국인 상용 가공 식품의 trans 지방산 함량 (Trans Fatty Acid Content of Processed Foods in Korean Diet)

  • This study was designed to determine total lipid and trans fatty acids(tFAs) content of 157 food items commonly consumed in the Korean diet and to prepare the database for the estimation of tFAs intake in Koreans. Total lipid and tFAs content was determined by Bligh and Dyer method and attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy, respectively. The content of tFAs in margarines ranged from 0.8% to 25.2%, depending on the manufacturers. In bakery products, cakes contained higher levels of tFAs(0.8~16.9%) than hamburgers(0.8~8.4%) and doughnuts(4.9~10%). The distribution of tFAs in crackers and cookies was wide(0.8~25%), whereas meat and fish products contained 0% to 8.9% of tFAs. Fried chickens had 0% to 14.6% of tFAs and French fries had 5.2% to 18.8% of tFAs. In noodles, nuts, chocolates and fermented fish sauces, tfAs were not detected.

  • The currently used methods to get this information include corneal reflection, electro-oculograph, and so on. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that is developed for the reflection of pupil by infrared. I assume that the pupil is a perfect circle in the captured eye images. The method to recognize an existing image has many data throughput very much. And the time to deal with an image data is very long. So, we did not use the camera. However we studied the algorithm to pursue the pupil to a mapping technique.

단결정 실리콘 태양전지 2차원 모델의 반사율 시뮬레이션 (Two-dimensional model simulation for reflectance of single crystalline silicon solar cell)

  • At present, crystalline solar cells take up a significant percentage of the solar industry. The ways of increasing the efficiency of crystalline solar cell are texturing and AR(Anti-Reflection) coating, and the purpose of these technologies is to increase the amount of available light on the solar cell by reducing the reflectivity. The reflectance of crystalline silicon solar cell combined with such technologies will be able to predict using the proposed simulation in this paper. The simulation algorithm was made using MATLAB, and it is a combination of the theories of reflection in textured wafer and in anti-reflection coated wafer. The simulation results were divided into three wavelength band and were compared with actual reflectance measured by a spectrometer. The wavelength band from 300 to 380 was named ultraviolet region and the wavelength band from 380 to 780 is named visible region. Finally, the wavelength band from 780 to 1200 named infrared region. When compared with measured reflection data, the simulation results had a small error from 0.4 to 0.5[%] in visible region. The error occurred in the rest two regions is larger than visible region. The extreme error occurred the infrared region is due to internal reflection effect, but in the ultraviolet region, the rationale on reduction phenomenon of reflectance occurred in small range did not proved. If these problem will be solve, this simulation will have high reliability more than now and be able to predict the reflectance of solar cells.
