지능정보사회 노인층의 디지털 정보격차와 과제 (The Digital Divide and Challenges on the Elderly in Intelligence Information Society)

  • 시대적 디지털 환경변화를 반영하는 지능정보사회는 개인적인 삶의 변화 가능성으로 기대되는 반면, 지능정보기술에 익숙하지 않은 정보취약계층의 디지털 격차는 활용 불가능의 불편함을 넘어 지능정보사회에서 누릴 수 있는 사회적·경제적 불평등이 야기되는 현실이다. 본 연구는 지능정보사회의 디지털 포용 실현을 위한 노인 미디어교육 분야의 과제를 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 '제6차 국가정보화 기본계획(2018~2022)'과 '2022 교육정보화백서(2022)'를 통해 지능정보사회와 관련되는 국가정보화 비전, 목표, 전략 및 과제를 살펴보았으며, '2022년 디지털 정보격차 실태조사' 결과를 통해 취약계층으로 분류된 노인층의 디지털 격차 현황을 통하여 디지털정보화 역량(54.5%)과 디지털 정보화 활용수준(72.6%)은 낮은 것으로 파악하였다. 지능정보사회에서 노인층의 디지털 정보격차를 완화하기 위해서 노인 미디어교육 분야에서는 지능정보기술을 활용한 지능형 미디어교육 서비스 개발, 늘배움 온라인서비스 채널을 통한 노인 미디어교육 서비스 제공, 노인층을 위한 디지털 지능형 미디어 교육 지원 등이 필요할 것으로 여겨진다.

사회서비스 이용자 정보가용성이 서비스 품질 및 만족에 미치는 영향: 재가노인복지서비스를 대상으로 (The Effects of Information Literacy of Social Service Users' on Service Quality and Satisfaction: Based on Elderly Home Care Services)

  • 본 연구는 재가노인복지서비스 이용자들 사이에 정보가용성의 차이가 있는지 확인하고, 정보가용성이 품질 및 만족에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 전라북도 지역 이용자의 응답자료 466부를 활용하여 차이검증과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스 이용자의 성별, 가구 형태, 거주 지역, 학력, 주관적 건강상태에 따라 정보가용성의 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 정보가용성은 서비스 품질과 만족에 유의미하게 영향을 미쳤다. 정보가용성의 하위요소 중 특히 서비스 내용에 대한 정보와 요구 가능한 내용에 대한 정보는 기타 정보가용성 하위요소 보다 서비스 품질 및 만족에 더욱 큰 영향력을 나타내었으며, 이는 각 이용자의 욕구와 상황을 기반으로 한 맞춤형 서비스의 중요성을 보여준다. 본 연구는 재가노인복지서비스 이용자들 사이의 정보가용성이 서비스 만족과 품질에 미치는 영향력을 확인하였고, 이러한 결과는 재가노인복지서비스 이용자 중 정보취약계층에 대한 효율적이고 능동적인 정보제공 방안이 필요함을 시사한다.

노인을 위한 무료급식 제도에 대한 지역 주민의 의식조사 -성남시를 중심으로- (Opinions about Free Congregate Site Meal Service for Elderly in Sungnam Area)

  • This study was designed to find out opinions about free congregate site meals that the program served to improve nutritional status of low socio-economic elderly. This study was conducted in Sungnam-shi. The purpose of this study provided the baseline data to extend the meal service program in this area. Five hundred samples were selcted by the propotion of population in three districts(Sujung-gu, Jungwon-gu, Bundang-gu). The result were as follows. 72.8$\%$of subjects were women and 27.2$\%$of subjects were extended family type. Seventy$\%$ of respondant were not aware of the free meal service for elderly. Major channels of information about free meal service were mass media(33.8$\%$)and advertisement material from city (24.3$\%$). The rate of recognition and channels of information about free meal service were different according to demographic characteristics of subjects. Sixty-eight of subjects pointed that the meal service program was highly necessary in these areas and the necessity of the program was not significantly different by socio-economic variables. The group who know about free meal service had a positive attitude toward supporting the meal service program. Women preferred labor volunteers(46.8$\%$)at meal service center and men preferred donations. 노인소비자의 학력수준이 외식구매의사결정 과정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Effect of the Elderly Consumers' Education Level on Eating-Out Decision Making Process)

  • As Korea has approached the aging society, older Koreans have become an important force in restaurant sales today. To succeed with this silver market, it is important for restaurant managers to know who they are and what factors influence older Koreans' eating-out decision making process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the silver consumers' education level on eating-out decision making process. Data were collected from 178 older consumers above 55 years old and analyzed using the descriptive statistic analysis, MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the elderly consumers' education level significantly influenced the decision making process in determining where to eat out. Significant differences were found in the Problem Recognition Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.817, F=2.991), Information Search Step(Wilks' Lambda=0828, F=2.218), Alternative Evaluation Step II(Wilks' Lambda=0.741, F=3.596), Purchase Decision Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.859, F=2.223), and the Post-Purchase Behavior(Wilks' Lambda=0.885, F=1.780). The higher education level was, the more directly involved in the eating out decision process. The elderly consumers with university education were likely to 'propose to eat out by themselves'(F=9.346), to obtain restaurant information from the 'printed materials'(F=7.452), to go to 'family restaurant'(F=9.057), 'Japanese restaurant'(F=8.7891) and 'fine dining restaurants'(F=3.936), and to directly express their emotion when they had complaints about restaurant service(F=3.206). In conclusion, older Koreans will become more healthy and wealthy which means the dining out activity will be an important part of their life to socialize with people. Therefore, food service operations should consider the elderly consumers' needs and expectation of restaurant services and actively position themselves for this new market segment.

  • 본 연구는 노인을 위한 SNS 활용 교육의 효과성에 대하여 연구하였다. 연구 참여자는 현재 교육에 참여하고 있는 교육생과 보조 강사로 활동하고 있는 동년배 멘토를 연구대상으로 심층인터뷰를 하였다. 연구는 동년배 노인이 멘토가 되어 수업을 할 때, 어렵게만 생각하는 SNS 활용 교육이 보다 유효한 수업이 될 수 있는가를 연구하였다. 연구 결과는 노인 SNS 활용 교육 후 동년배의 친근한 배려와 공감으로 어려운 기기에 대한 두려움에서 벗어나 즐겁고 보람된 교육이었다고 한다. 노인 SNS 활용 교육에 동년배 멘토를 활용한다면 기기에 대한 두려움과 노인에게 어렵고 부담스럽게만 여겨지는 SNS 교육이 보다 유연한 교육으로 활성화 될 것으로 기대된다.

농촌노인의 지역사회 복지서비스 이용실태 - ‘노인생활지도마을’을 대상으로 - (The Study of Community-oriented Welfare Service for the Rural Elderly - Focused on ′Villages Supported by Special Programs for the Rural Elderly′ -)

  • In Korea, as the elderly population is growing, the quality of life of the rural elderly is becoming a major concern. By the way, social welfare services is less available and accessible to the rural elderly. And we have very limited information about community -oriented welfare services for the elderly. The lack of social welfare services in rural area resulted from mainly geographic isolation and economic deprivation. So, the present research aimed at; 1) to explore what the social welfare service is benefited from governmental or local assembly. 2) to explore what kind of community services is provided for the rural village and elderly. 3) to appear the political propose for the rural elderly. In South Korea, The Rural Development Administration currently operate 'villages which is supported special programs for the improvement of QOL of rural elderly' in 110 villages. It is a model governmental welfare service for rural area. For the purpose, the survey data is gathered from community level data per village (107 villages), individual survey data(881people) who live in the village and qualitative data. Two kinds of quantitative data is combined to form a data. The statistical methods used for data analysis are descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follows : It was founded that the majority family type of the rural elderly is elderly-only households(75%). In case of poor elderly, they have very limited social insurance benefit and they can not get medical services with satisfaction. The result show that the welfare facilities per village and welfare service for the elderly is extremely low while the needs of welfare service is greate high. A distinctive characteristics in rural villages is that they receive a lot of services from private sectors, like as Women Farmers Union, Adult Union. They operate voluntary welfare services related to food supporting, education for the elderly, free haircut services and so on. In conclusion, the community care services from private sector has specialty in rural area. We conclude it is a distinguishing characteristic of rural community.

노인 부모의 식생활 의존도 및 노인 급식 프로그램에 대한 의식 조사 (Study on the degree of dependence on flood environment and the perception of meal service program for elderly parents)

  • This study was designed to examine the degree of dependence on dietary environment, evaluate the perception of metal service program and investigate factors affecting the demand for meal service programs for elderly parents. The purpose of this study provided the basic information for the development and systemization of meal service program for elderly. Eight hundred twenty semen adults who have elderly parents were surveyed using pre-designed written questionnaire. According to the results on the life environments of their elderly parents, psychological factors(41.7%), living condition(14.3%) and dietary environment (13.2%) had trouble. Physical and psychological conditions significantly affected the dietary environment(p<0.05). Only 9.2% of the subjects were already aware of recognized the meal service program for elderly, and the degree of recognition differed significantly by sex and education level. Women had better perception of meal service program for elderly than men. In men, they would expect to use congregate meal service(44.1%), home-delivered meal service (23.7%), nursing home meal service(16.9%) in order. On the other hand, for women, home-delivered meal service (41.2%), congregate meat service(44.1%), and nursing home meal service (16.8%) in order. Therefore there are significant differences between men and women what type they want(p<0.001). For those who haute both of the parents or either one of them, they would use more of congregate meal service (38.8%) and home-delivered meal service (38.8%) than nursing home meal service (15.5%). The group whose parents are lower socio-economic status would have tendency to use the nursing home meal service (p=0.06). The group of whom believe the dietary environment is the problem of their parents'life environment had preference of using congregate meal service and home-delivered meal service.

고령자 확장 정보를 이용한 서비스 지원 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Service Supporting Method Using the Elderly Scalable Information)

  • 고령사회 진입으로 고령자에 관한 관심과 요구가 증가하고 있다. 고령자의 급격한 증가는 다양한 분야에서 변화가 요구되고 있다. 고령자의 사회참여 기회와 욕구가 증가하면서 고령사회에 적합한 서비스에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 고령사회에서 발생하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 편의시설 확대와 제도 개선이 이루어지고 있지만 증가하는 고령자의 수요에는 미흡한 부분이 많이 있다. 또한, 고령화로 인해 일상생활 능력과 신체적 기능 저하로 인해 독립적이고 자립 생활에 어려움을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 정부와 지자체에서 다양한 고령자 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 고령자 서비스는 고령자의 일반적인 특성 기반으로 제공하고 있어 맞춤형 서비스에는 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위해 ICT 기반 서비스에 확장 정보를 이용한 서비스 모델을 제시한다. 확장 정보는 IoT 환경을 이용하여 고령자의 정보와 환경 정보를 수집한다. 확장 정보로는 고령자의 이동, 행위, 신체 정보와 주거 환경 정보를 이용한다. 고령자 확장 정보를 이용한 서비스 지원은 고령자의 특성을 파악하여 사용자가 서비스 요청 시 적합한 서비스를 지원한다. 제안 방법은 고령자 특성과 요구를 반영한 자립 서비스를 지원할 수 있다.

Effect of Social Support on the Job Performance of Workers at Care Facilities for Elderly

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of social support on the job performance of workers at care facilities for elderly. For the study, a survey was conducted on 176 workers at care facilities for elderly in Gyeongsangbuk-do from the 5th of September of 5th of November, 2016. For the analysis, SPSS WIN 18.0 and Amos 21.0 programs were used to conduct t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. The research results were as follows. First, the level of social support on the workers varied depending on their marital status, religions and years of service, while no difference was found for different genders, ages, education levels, positions, monthly incomes and workloads. Second, the job performance of the workers varied with their marital status, with the married workers performing at higher level then single workers. Third, it was found that the job performance of workers at care facilities for elderly has positive correlation with the level of social support. This paper is required to be used as a primary source for political development on the job performance of workers at care facilities for elderly.

경기 북부 실버관리인력 양성 과정에 관한 수요도 조사 (Studies on the Demands of Development Program of Silver Industrial Professionals in the Northern Gyeonggi-do Area)

  • The principal objective of this study was to assess the demands of the development program of silver health care professionals for elderly individuals residing in the Northern Gyeonggi-do area. To this end, a survey was conducted to investigate college students and employees related with elderly individuals in the area regarding their recognition, interest, and involvement in the labor training program. In the case of college students, the health education they had received was only 1 to 2 hours, from a school lecture(35%). The content of health education they desired was exercise(34%) and stress management skills(28%). The sources of health information they received included mass media(77%) and the internet(12%), and they trusted the information they received from health professionals(45%), and the mass media(34%). In the case of health professionals who were working at silver care facilities, the sources of health information to which they had access were mass media(51%), internet(14%), reliable health professionals(56%), mass media(22%), and books related to health (18%). The principal issues they reported as being relevant to the elderly were dementia(39%), hypertension(14%), arthritis (11%), and they reported that the most important personnel for elderly in the future would be care managers(44%), and care helpers(21%). 88% of subjects believed that there was a need for a silver welfare integrated information system. 43% of subjects used the internet, 77% of them required in-service training programs for the welfare of the elderly. Via this developmental program of silver health care professionals, a variety of new job opportunities can be provided in the future, and a program related to the silver service industry must be established as soon as possible.
