  • Freight management systems require a new business model for rapid decision making to improve their business processes by dynamically analyzing the previous experience data. Moreover, the amount of data generated by daily business activities to be analyzed for making better decisions is enormous. Online-to-offline or offline-to-online (O2O) is an electronic commerce (e-commerce) model used to combine the online and physical services. Data analysis is usually performed offline. In the present paper, to extend its benefits to online and to efficiently apply the big data analysis to the freight management system, we suggested a system architecture based on O2O services. We analyzed and extracted the useful knowledge from the real-time freight data for the period 2014-2017 aiming at further business development. The proposed system was deemed useful for truck management companies as it allowed dynamically obtaining the big data analysis results based on O2O services, which were used to optimize logistic freight, improve customer services, predict customer expectation, reduce costs and overhead by improving profit margins, and perform load balancing.

  • We introduce a novel high-level security metrics objective taxonomization model for software- intensive systems. The model systematizes and organizes security metrics development activities. It focuses on the security level and security performance of technical systems while taking into account the alignment of metrics objectives with different business and other management goals. The model emphasizes the roles of security-enforcing mechanisms, the overall security quality of the system under investigation, and secure system lifecycle, project and business management. Security correctness, effectiveness and efficiency are seen as the fundamental measurement objectives, determining the directions for more detailed security metrics development. Integration of the proposed model with riskdriven security metrics development approaches is also discussed.

  • Recently, the administration and supervision of Information Security Certification and Security Inspection has been enforced but information leakage and security accidents by insiders are increasing consistently. The security accidents by insiders ran to 21% in 2010, by the 2011 Cyber Security Watch Survey. The problem is that immediate recognition is difficult and stopgap measure is mostly adopted without company's external notice apprehensive for cost increase or credit drop in case of internal security accidents. In the paper, we conducted the regression study on security access management then proposed the standard process available for other systems and businesses sites. It can be very useful for many companies to investigate, analyze and improve the problem of security management conveniently.

  • The SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems are used to control some critical national infrastructures such as electricity, gas, and water distribution systems. Recently, there are many researches on key management scheme for secure communication due to change to the open network environment. We propose a new key management method which is established on ID-based cryptosystem using pairing on MTU(Master Terminal Unit), Sub-MTU, and RTU(Remote Terminal Unit). Furthermore, we present a redistribution protocol of private key of each device and a system recovery protocol as a countermeasure of exposure of KMS(Key Management System) master key which is occurred by some unexpected accidents or malicious attacks.

  • Critical infrastructure has been operating in a closed environment with a completely separate information system and in the private area. However, with the current ICT environment changes due to convergence and open platforms it has increased the threats and risks to critical infrastructure. The importance of cyber security is increasing in the infrastructure control system, such as the outbreak of Ukraine blackout in 2015 by a malicious code called 'black energy'. This thesis aims to recognize the importance and necessity of protecting the critical infrastructure service, designing a security framework reflecting environmental and characteristic changes, and analyzing the management system suitable for a security framework. We also propose a theoretical basis for constructing a new security framework by comparing and analyzing seven international security management system standards, such as NIST 800-82 and IEC 62443-2-1, which are used in the control system. As a result, the environment surrounding critical infrastructure changes with the characteristics of connectivity, openness, and finality was studied, and as a response to this, many scholars and institutions present critical infrastructure security frameworks as cycle enhancement type structures, risk management structures, and management domain expansion structures. In response, the security framework encompassing these structures, CISF (Critical Infrastructure Security Framework), was designed. Additionally, through the security related international standard and criterion analysis, as a newly designed security standard suitable for CISF, IEC 62443-2-1 is reviewed and suggestions are made.

  • Emergency medical information center performs role of medical direction about disease consult and pre-hospital emergency handling scheme work to people. Emergency medical information system plays a major role to be decreased mortality and disability of emergency patient by providing information of medical institution especially when emergency patient has appeared. But, various attacks as a hacking have been happened in Emergency medical information system recently. In this paper, we proposed security structure which can protect the system securely by detecting attacks from outside effectively. Intrusion detection was performed using rule based detection technique according to protocol for every packet to detect attack and intrusion was reported to control center if intrusion was detected also. Intrusion detection was performed again using decision tree for packet which intrusion detection was not done. We experimented effectiveness using attacks as TCP-SYN, UDP flooding and ICMP flooding for proposed security structure in this paper.

  • This paper considers a security framework for geographic information System(GIS). The GIS is an information system for supporting fast decision associated spacial problems and the system has a role of infra structure of the information system. The security is also one of the major technology for information system. However, researches on secure GIS are presented little and this paper considers the secure GIS. This paper suggest a framework for the secure GIS based on derived requirements on the secure system. Analysis on security for a serial, parallel and hierarchical secure system is also added.

  • This study intends to help establishing guidelines on providing easier access to security status-related information about business and public institutions by interested parties such as investors and civic societies, and to push ahead with the compulsory execution of the information security disclosure. We suggest a draft for the information disclosure system by reviewing the existing disclosure systems and validate the draft by surveying experts. It is expected that the result of this study will be the basis for the adoption of the information security disclosure system and be used as a referential material in the establishment of the relevant policy.

  • As the importance of Knowledge Management System (KMS) in the military increases, Republic of Korea Army (ROK Army) developed Army Knowledge Portal. Although the members in the military are encouraged to use the portal, few members currently use it. This study was conducted to find variables to predict the user's intention to use the portal, which contributes to activating the use of Army Knowledge Portal in the army. On the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), ten variables such as perceived ease of use, general information security awareness, information security awareness, expectation for external rewards, expectation for relationships, sense of self-worth, attitude toward compliance with security policy, attitude toward knowledge sharing, intention of non-combat knowledge sharing, and intention of combat knowledge sharing were considered as independent variables. 105 participants on active duty who currently use or have experience to use the portal participated in this study. The results indicated that general information security awareness and information security awareness increases compliance with the information security policy. In addition, the attitude toward knowledge sharing is enhanced by expectations for relationship and sense of self-worth. Based on the results, the authors propose the need for policy alternatives to reinforce the reward system and security policy, which activates the use of Knowledge Portal Service for ROK Army.
