In this paper, we propose an simplified successive minimum mean square error ($S^{2}MMSE$) algorithm that can simplify the computational complexity for precoding matrix generation in the successive minimum mean square error (SMMSE) precoding method, which is adopted as a multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) precoding technique in the IST (information society technologies)-WINNER (wireless world initiative new radio) project. The original algorithm generates the precoding matrix by calculating all individual precoding vectors with each requiring its own MMSE nulling matrix, over all receive antennas for all users. In contrast, this proposed algorithm first calculates the MMSE nulling matrix for each user, and then calculates all precoding vectors for respective receive antennas of the corresponding user by using the identical MMSE nulling matrix, in which only a simple matrix-vector multiplication is required for each vector. Consequently, it can simplify significantly the computational complexity to generate a precoding matrix for SMMSE precoding.
In this paper, differentiation operational matrix for Haar function is derived. Proposed method only using a matrix calculation of Haar discrete matrix and block-pulse function's integration operational matrix. It would be possible to use to design an a1gebraic estimator for fault detection or unknown input observer effectively.
Cell-cell and cell-matrix interaction is clearly required for metazoans not only to hold their cells together but also to conduct more sophisticated biological processes. Each cell has adhesion molecules on its cell membrane to link extracellular matrix and adjacent cells to the intracellular cytoskeleton, and also to transduce signals. In complex metazoans, information is transmitted from one cell to another by mechanisms such as direct intercellular communication, soluble signal molecules among distant cells, and local cellular environments formed by highly specialized extracellular matrix. Beam forming techniques are used to increase the efficiency of using frequency. In this paper we design and implement Butler matrix to be used for ISM band. The implemented Butler matrix has the insertion loss of maximum 6.7dB and the maximum phase shift error of $-6.51^{\circ}{\sim}7.17^{\circ}$ over 2.4~2.485GHz.

In this paper, we proposed new speech feature parameter through parts-based feature extraction of speech spectrum using Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF). NMF can effectively reduce dimension for multi-dimensional data through matrix factorization under the non-negativity constraints, and dimensionally reduced data should be presented parts-based features of input data. For speech feature extraction, we applied Mel-scaled filter bank outputs to inputs of NMF, than used outputs of NMF for inputs of speech recognizer. From recognition experiment result, we could confirm that proposed feature parameter is superior in recognition performance than mel frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) that is used generally.

Above all computerization of Hangul composite printing is an urgent task for the effective utilization of computer as a useful mean handling information in this information flooded era. However it is a very difficult problems due to the unique mechanism of the Hangul character combination. There in this paper 13$\times$14 Dot Matrix processing method is applied to get a fine result of the Hangul out look. Further more Hangul input/output data processing is accomplished by the software program developed.
Conventional bar code has the appearance of line bars and spaces, called as one-dimensional bar code. In contrast, the information in two-dimensional bar code is represented by either a small, rectangular or square with the types of mosaic and Braille. The two-dimensional bar code is much more efficient than one-dimensional bar code because it can allow to store and express large amounts of data in a small space and so far there is also a little information about decoding the Data Matrix in base 256 mode. According to the ISO international standards, there are four kinds of bar code: QR code, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Maxi code. In this paper, among them, we focus on describing the basic concepts of Data Matrix in base 256 mode, how to encode and decode them, and how to organize them in detail. In addition, Data Matrix can be organized efficiently depending on the modes of numeric, alphanumeric characters, and binary system and expecially, we focus on describing how to decode the Data Matrix code by four modes.

Multivariate control charts for effectively monitoring every component in the dispersion matrix of multivariate normal process are considered. Through the numerical results, we noticed that the multivariate control charts based on sample statistic $V_i$ by Hotelling or $W_i$ by Alt do not work effectively when the correlation coefficient components in dispersion matrix are increased. We propose a combined procedure monitoring every component of dispersion matrix, which operates simultaneously both control charts, a chart controlling variance components and a chart controlling correlation coefficients. Our numerical results show that the proposed combined procedure is efficient for detecting changes in both variances and correlation coefficients of dispersion matrix.

We present a matrix-based inference alorithm suitable for electronic commerce applications. For this purpose, an Extended AND-OR Graph (EAOG) was developed with the intention that fast inference process is enabled within the electronic commerce situations. The proposed EAOG inference mechanism has the following three characteristics. 1. Real-time inference: The EAOG inference mechanism is suitable for the real-time inference because its computational mechanism is based on matric computation.2. Matrix operation: All the subjective knowledge is delineated in a matrix form, so that inference process can proceed based on the matrix operation which is computationally efficient.3. Bi-directional inference: Traditional inference method of expert systems is based on either forward chaining or backward chaining which is mutually exclusive in terms of logical process and exclusive in terms of logical process and computational efficiency. However, the proposed EAOG inference mechanism is generically bi-directional without loss of both speed and efficiency. We have proved the validity of our approach with several propositions and an illustrative EC example.
Systolic Array Processor is used for designing the special purpose processor in Digital Signal Processing, Computer Graphics, Neural Network Applications etc., since it has the characteristic of parallelism, pipeline processing and architecture of regularity. But, in case of using general design method, it has intial waiting period as large as No. of PE-1. And if the connected system needs parallel and simultaneous outputs, processor has some problems of the performance, since it generates only one output at each clock in output state. So in this paper, one dimensional Systolic Array Processor that is designed according to the dependance of data and operations using the partitioned sub-matrix is proposed for the purpose of improving the performance. 1-D Systolic Array using 4 partitioned sub-matrix has efficient method in case of considering those two problems.
