이미지 기술을 이용한 문헌정보학 교수법 개발연구 (Teaching Methods for the Library and Information Science Using Image Technology)

  • 본 연구는 이미지기술을 이용한 교과목과 과제물을 개발하여 강의 한 후 학생들을 평가한 사례연구이다. 이 결과 문헌정보학의 여러 과목에 기존의 시청각과목에서 가르치던 멀티미디어 기술과 새로운 이미지 정보기술 방법을 종합하여 강의하게 된다. 학생과 교수는 최고의 인간관계를 맺게 되고 문헌정보학의 과목은 재미있고 수강 학생수가 증가하면서 교수의 강의 평가점수가 많이 향상되었다.

외국인 유학생의 글로벌 산업기술 교육과정 적용 사례 연구 -J 대학을 중심으로- (Case Study of Application of Global Industrial Technology Curriculum for International Students - Focusing on J College -)

  • 본 연구는 국내 J 대학의 외국인 유학생 대상 글로벌 산업기술 교육과정의 적용과 만족도에 대해 연구하였다. 글로벌 산업기술 교육과정의 도출을 위해 산업체의 요구 분석을 실시하였고 뿌리 산업에 대한 현황 파악을 통하여 교과목의 적절성을 파악하였다. 글로벌 산업기술 교육과정의 적용에 대한 만족도를 조사하기 위하여 외국인 유학생들을 대상으로 2021년 8월부터 9월까지 2개월에 걸쳐 대인면접 설문조사 형태로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 문항에는 대상자의 일반적 정보, 교육과정 이수 실태, 수업 만족도, 자격증 취득과정 및 재직여부에 관한 문항이 포함되었다. 연구 결과 응답자의 교육과정 선택 이유는 뿌리산업 관련 교과목(용접, 가공 등)에 대한 관심과 한국 취업 및 비자(E-7) 발급이었다. 가장 선호하는 교과목은 용접 실습 과목이 36.8%로 가장 많았으며 필요하다고 생각하는 교과목 문항에서는 전공기초 용어 과목이 29.2%로 가장 많았다. 동일 교육과정을 적용한 졸업생과 재학생의 만족도 차이를 검정하였고 해석 결과 재학생과 졸업생의 만족도 차이는 t 검정(유의수준 p=0.05)을 통하여 차이가 없음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 학령인구 감소에 따라 대학의 존립이 위협받는 시대적 흐름 속에서 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 한 국내 산업기술 교육과정의 기초자료를 제공하고 관련 연구의 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다고 사료된다.

K-TIHM: Korean Technology Integration Hierarchy Model for Teaching and Learning in STEAM Education

  • The core competencies for the 21st century are creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. In recent classes where ICT (information, communication, and technology) is grafted, a lot of efforts are also being made to increase such competencies. According to a research work, ICT is most often used as a communication channel between teachers and students or as an online collaboration tool among students. However, ICT has only played a role as a guideline for instruction, but not included in the curriculum until now. The research on methods how to integrate technology into teaching and learning is in full swing due to the development of technology and the advent of Covid-19. In this paper, we propose a technology integration hierarchy model, namely K-TIHM that can be combined with STEAM education. Since only learning environments have been proposed in the existing research for technology-based STEAM education, our model proposes a series of technology integration hierarchy that can be applied by school age along with STEAM. Also, we analyze the differences in among the Korea's ICT education operation guidelines, the Korea's Software education guidelines, and ours. The proposed model can help developing the primary and secondary school curriculum integrated with technology.

캐나다 Ontario주와 우리나라 초등학교의 전기, 자기 관련 교육 과정의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Curriculum on Electricity and Magnetism between in Korean and in)

  • In this study, we conducted a comparative study to investigate the curriculums on electricity and magnetism between in Korean and in Ontario elementary schools in Canada with respect to connectivity and difference among course materials with grades. We compared textbooks that contain the contents about electricity and magnetism, and connectivity in curriculums that were relevant to the science content system in each country. We report the following differences in the curriculums on electricity and magnetism in each country. First, it turns out that science is taught from the first grade in Ontario, while it is taught from the third grade in Korea. Second, Ontario covers electricity and magnetism only in science curriculum, while Korea covers the same topics both in the science and practical arts curriculum. Third, while the curriculum in Korea introduces 'a magnet' in the third grade, 'electricity' in the fourth and the fifth grade, and 'an electromagnet' in the sixth grade, while the curriculum in Ontario covers the concept of energy from the first grade. As the grades go up, the contents of electricity and magnetism tend to be more deepen. It also emphasizes enhancing students' ability that they can communicate what they learn about technology with others, and that they can apply their knowledge to other fields as well. Based on this study of the Ontario curriculum, we suggest that it is necessary for us to n Science curriculum from the first grade, so that the students can learn science from the early grade, without a need to run another subject, like practical arts. We also found that the Korean curriculum has an interesting structure for the young students to learn to apply their knowledge to the real life immediately, based on an idea that the topic of 'Manipulating the electric appliances' in practical arts curriculum moves to the Science.

지능정보기술 실무인재 양성을 위한 전문대학 교육체계 구축 방안 (A Study on Education system for nurturing Intelligent Information Technology practitioners in College)

  • It is necessary to respond to rapid technological changes such as the 4th industrial revolution and digital transformation across industries. And, a change in the university education system is necessary in a crisis situation of universities due to the rapid decrease of the school-age population. This study is aimed at practical competency with the ability to apply intelligent information technology to their job fields based on a basic understanding of intelligent information technology rather than advanced competency centered on theory and research. Instead of presenting the curriculum system diagram so that it can be flexibly applied to the design and development of the curriculum for intelligent information technology, training modules according to job and level were presented. In relation to intelligent information technology, a questionnaire was conducted for college professors, and industry experts were conducted on the derived educational modules to reflect the opinions of the industry. Industry experts said that collaboration with PBL, Capstone, and industry is necessary to improve problem-solving and communication skills.

수학교육 현장에서 교육 정보화의 현황과 과제 (A Survey of Use of Computers in Mathematics Education)

  • In this paper, an analysis of survey questions relating to educational technology which was extracted from a more general survey of 1-12 mathematics teachers in Korea is reported. The general survey was conducted to provide a baseline for evaluating and developing recommendations for mathematics curriculum that is consistent with the knowledge based information society model of the future. The basic requirements for technology based education are availability of hardware and the ability of teachers to use technology for education. Therefore, the availability and use of technology by mathematics teachers in today’s curriculum was analyzed. The computer ability of teachers, the amount of computer use in the classroom, and the attitude of teachers about the use of technology for education was analyzed. The analysis is intended to provide a baseline of information for understanding and developing plans for better implementing technology for mathematic education.

  • It will not be impossible to develop an Information Systems and Information Technologies (IS/IT) program and a curriculum that represents the true needs of the IS/IT industry until IS/IT educator, reduce the gap perception and IS/IT practitioner's perception of IS/IT knowledge and technical skills that the industry might need. This paper represents and analysis of perceptions about IS/IT knowledge and skills that IS/IT practitioners might consider important. This study is based in Korean. The findings give us a very important lesson for IS/IT academicians that their understanding about the required knowledge and skills for the IS/IT career is not in line with that of IS/IT industry. Classifies the critical knowledge/skill set according to content or domain of knowledge by means of a survey. This is conducted in accordance with what IS/IT practitioners and educators can easily relate. The survey uses this approach and includes four broad categories of critical information Systems and Information technologies (IS/IT) knowledge/skills: IS/IT technology knowledge/skills, organizational and societal knowledge/skills, interpersonal knowledge/skills, and personal trait knowledge/skills.

IS 2002 표준교육과정에 입각한 국내 정보시스템 관련학과의 교육과정에 대한 분석 (An Analysis of IS-Related Curriculums in Korea Based on the IS 2002 Model Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 독립된 학문분야로서의 정보시스템이 갖는 표준교육과정의 핵심구조를 파악하고 이를 기초로 국내 정보시스템 관련학과의 교육과정을 정보시스템의 표준교육과정과 비교분석하고자 하였다. IS 2002 표준교육과정의 핵심교과목을 기초로 국내 정보시스템 관련학과의 교육과정을 비추어 보았을 때 전체 교육과정 가운데 약 58%만이 이에 해당하였다. 이는 곧 독립된 학문으로서의 정보시스템이 아직 국내에서 충분히 학문으로서 독립성을 확보하지 못하고 있음을 나타내고 있다. 다만 핵심교과목에 있어서는 편중됨이 없이 대체로 각 영역에 고루 편성되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 정보시스템이 경영학을 모태로 출발하였음을 나타내는 증거가 인접학문의 분석을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 다양한 인접학문 가운데 거의 독보적으로 70% 이상의 교과목이 경영학분야(회계학 포함)로 편성되어 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 이는 한편으로 정보시스템이 경영학에 의존하는 바가 커서 경영학으로부터 독립하여 독자적인 학문영역을 구축하는데 장애가 되고 있음을 나타내기도 한다. 국립대학 및 상위권 대학을 중심으로 많은 대학에서 독립된 학과(학부)를 개설하는 대신에 경영학과(학부) 내에서 몇 개의 관련 교과목을 편성하는 수준으로 전공을 운영하고 있는 것도 이러한 현실을 반영하고 있는 것으로 보인다.

SCA Advice System: Ontology Framework for a Computer Curricula Advice System Based on Student Behavior

  • This study proposed an SCA advice system. It is an ontology-based recommender that provides advice on appropriate computer curricula based on the behavior of high school students. The three computer curricula at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University include computer science (CS), information technology (IT), and web programming and security (WEB). This study aims to design the ontology framework for an SCA advice system. The system considers three core ontologies: student, computer-curriculum, and advice. After analyzing student behaviors, the behavior types of CS, IT, and WEB were determined to be SB-2, SB-1, and SB-5, respectively. All subjects in these three curricula were analyzed and grouped into seven groups. Their curricula were synthesized in terms of basic skills, basic knowledge, and characteristics. Finally, advice results can be obtained by consolidating the curriculum nature of the CS, IT, and WEB curricula.
