멀티미디어 정보관리 데이터베이스 시스템에서 자연어를 사용한 정보 검색 (Information Retrieval Using Natural Language for Multimedia Information Management Database System)

  • 오늘날 사용자가 요구하는 데이터 타입은 주로 멀티미디어 데이터 타입들이다. 이들 멀티미디어데이터 타입의 특성은 기존의 데이터에 비하여 데이터의 크기가 크다는데 있다. 멀티미디어 데이터는 크기가 크기 때문에 멀티미디어 데이터 탐색 연산시 한번에 여러 데이터를 주기억 장치에 가져올 수 없으며, 이것은 많은 입출력 발생과 멀티미디어 데이터 시스템의 성능을 저하시키는 요인이 된다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 보다 신속한 멀티미디어 데이터 접근을 이루기 위해 인덱스 방법에 관해 살펴보며, 이 기술을 이용하여 멀티미디어 데이터 접근을 많이 요구하는 응용프로그램에 적절하게 대처할 수 있으며, 사용자는 자연어를 사용하여 검색을 수행할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 정확한 매칭을 요구하는 키워드 매칭 인덱스 기법보다 자연어를 이용함으로써 사용자의 편리성과 신속한 결과 얻을 수 있도록 성능을 향상 시켰다.

  • 本 論文은 단일 processor를 가진 computer time sharing system의 運用 에 關한 것이다. 서로 다른 K 종류의 task들이 各各 獨立的이고 time-homojeneous한 Poisson分布를 따라 System에 들어 오고 있다. 또한, task 가 配當된 quantum동안 process를 받고 난후 이미 주어진 確率에 의해, 써어비스 를 完了받고 System을 離脫하기도 하고, 未完結된 경우 다른 種類의 task로 바뀌 어져 다시 process를 받기 爲해 待期한다고 한다. 이러한 여러종류의 task를 相對 로 한 time sharing model에서는 各種類의 完結에 必要한 process time의 길이에 의해 各種類의 順位(priority)가 一方的으로 決定된 것이 通例이었다. 本 硏究에서 는 各 種類의 順位를 결정하는데 있어서, 좀더 現實的인 諸條件을 반영키 위해, 各種類의 完決에 要하는 process time의 길이 뿐만 아니라, 그들의 重要度 그리고 또 緊急度까지도 고려한 새로운 Schedulign rule을 개발하였다. 또한 이 새로운 Scheduling rule에 의해 順位를 決定하는 Algorithm도 수록하였다.

  • 전자상거래를 위한 전자지불시스템은 크게 전자화폐형, 전자수표형 그리고 신용카드형으로 분류할 수 있다. 각 방식에는 사용상의 특성으로 인하여 장단점이 있으나, 현재 현실세계에서와 같이 전자화폐지불시스템이 가장 활발하게 사용될 것이다. 그러나 전자화폐 지불시스템의 가장 큰 위험요소는 전자정보의 근본적 속성 즉 복사가 가능하다는 것이다. 이로 인하여 야기되는 화폐 검사에 대한 많은 비용이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 전자화폐지불시스템에 따른 요구조건들을 알아보고, 스마트카드를 사용한 전자지불시스템에서 구현되어야 할 부가적 요구조건들을 제안한다.

  • The purpose of this article is to consider the distance education system, its principles, features and means. One of its existing and promising tools is video conferencing. The article discusses the types of video conferencing, hardware and software, features and requirements for communication channels, types of information transmitted through these channels.

분산형 공급체인에서 단계별 정보지연 개선이 주는 효과 (The Impact of Information Lead Time Improvement on the Distributed Supply Chain System)

  • In this study, we model a decentralized supply chain system which is managed by four types of centers, sequentially located: Retailer, Wholesaler, Distributor, and Factory Each center contributes to enhancing the performance of the supply chain system individually with its own local inventory information. Through experiments which are performed with a programmed simulation (like the MIT beer game), we investigate how the information lead time improvement in each center affects the whole system. And we show that the impact of the lead time improvement in the downstream, like retailers, affects more to the system than the one in the upstream, like factories, in a cost-effective way. Moreover, by using information lead time for each center, we analyze how much the extent of the improvement affects the whole system, especially for the total cost and the order level.

  • In general, an Architecture of a system is embodied as applied results of a requirement analysis of a system in early development phase. These efforts play a important role in analyzing and understanding a system considering operational, functional, and physical view and deriving a correct solution before developing the system. In this paper, the architecture of the Tube Transportation System(TTS) known as the new transportation system in Railway Domain is depicted by performance parameter has already developed. The existing performance parameters are shown by a variety of types with many meanings rather than types of general requirements refined. As these early performance parameters have analyzed and complemented to a level of requirement by requirement managers and other domain specialists, the architecture of the Tube Transportation System was developed systematically and then system requirements will be drawn up definitely. The presented architecture will provide a framework of developing a TTS and also offer an information in performance analysis of TTS.

부산지역 도심하천 복원에 따른 기온변화 효과 분석 (An Analysis of the Temperature Change Effects of Restoring Urban Streams in Busan Area)

  • This study is conducted to estimate the air temperature decreasing effects by restoring urban streams using WRF/CALMET coupled system. The types of land use on covered streams are constructed with the land cover map from Korea ministry of environment. Restoring covered streams changes the types of land use on covered areas to water. Two different types of land use(CASE 1 and CASE 2) are inputted to the WRF/CALMET coupled system in order to calculate the temperature difference. The results of the WRF/CALMET coupled system are similar to the observed values at automatic weather stations(AWS) in Busan area. Restoring covered streams causes temperature to be decreased by about $0.34{\sim}2^{\circ}C$ according to the locations of streams and the regions that temperature is reduced are widely distributed over the restored area. Reduction of temperature is increased rapidly from morning and maximus at 13LST. Natural restoration of streams will reduce the built-up area within urban. With this, temperature reductions which are the cause to weaken the urban heat island appear. Relief of urban heat island will help to improve the air quality such as accumulation of air pollutants in within urban area.

글로벌 전자무역 확산을 위한 전자 선하증권 도입과 구현전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of e-B/L for the Dissemination of Global e-Trade)

  • This study aims to examine similarities and differences of each e-B/L types as well as identify problems of e-B/L utilization and directions for improvement. Especially, it suggests strategies for the realization of e-B/L through reviewing and analyzing commercial types of e-B/L, which have been developed so far. Although e-B/L succeeded in realizing the function as a certificate of title and its distribution value, it has not been fully implemented due to operational problems. Subsequently, e-B/L was realized in the Bolero project as an attempt of system to make up for shortcomings in the failure of previous e-B/L types, but it has still a number of problems. To solve this problem and make use of e-B/L more efficiently, this study focuses on the specific ways to introduce e-B/L and suggest directions for the development of e-Nego system. Preparation of electronic documents is a prerequisite for the development of the e-Nego system, taking distribution of electronic documents into consideration. Next, compatibility of electronic documentation and paper-based documents should be realized, with the guarantee of authenticity of electronic documents.

  • Automation ensures accurate and well-organized container transportation in container terminals. This paper addresses operational issues such as equipment scheduling and the coordination between various pieces of equipment in a rail-based automated container terminal. Containers are relayed using multiple types of equipment from road trucks to a vessel and vice versa. Therefore, handshaking is required during a container transfer between different pieces of equipment. Synchronization between the schedules of all the equipment is important to reduce equipment waiting times and the time required for transporting containers, which results in a short turnaround time for a vessel. This paper proposes an integrated control system with the objective of synchronizing the operations of different types of equipment, provides a list of decisions to be made by the control module of each type of equipment, and shows all the required information transfers between control modules. A scheme for the integrated scheduling of multiple types of equipment is proposed. The decisions made by each control module in a real-time fashion are listed with detailed explanations, and the information transfer between managers in a real-time situation at the proposed terminal is described.

확장 컴포넌트 개념에 의한 정보시스템 개발방법론 (The Methodology for Information System Development by the Concept of Extended Components)

  • This paper presents an efficient methodology for information system development by adopting the concept of extended components which can achieve the improvement of development productivity, reductrion of development time periods, quality improvement of information systems, etc. when information development projects are carried out. First of all, for efficient development of information systems, development steps of current methodologies for information system analysis are subdivided into components in detail and outputs required at each step are defined. The components are extended by types and various application methods are proposed in each step of information system development. In addition, a method which uses advantages of current methods such as SDLC, prototyping, and RAD, is also proposed. In this research, a CASE tool named S-Designer is used for the development of extended components and their interface, and a system development method called DSDM for the deviation of detailed steps and corresponding outputs.
