In this paper, we develop a transportation planning system for the mail transportation network, which consists of 25 mail centers and one mail exchange center. The main functions of the system are adjustment of transportation plan, creation of new transportation plan, and calculation of expected exchange mail volume which are transported through mail exchange center. We develop an adjusting algorithm which gives a new transportation plan by deleting, adding or changing the current routes. The algorithm based on the transportation results of current transportation plan and mail volume data. We design and implement a planning system by installing the algorithm as the planning engine. For the practical use, the system is connected to the information system of Korea Post, PostNet.

A variety of enterprises have Implemented ERP system on the promises of feasible strategic benefits. The objectives of this study are (1) to classily and analyze the motives and critical success factors o the enterprises'ERP system adoptions, and (2) to measure their impacts on the business performance. The data for this research were collected from 43 cases in Korea that have operated ERP system for more than 6 months after the implementation. This study results reveals that the Information strategic planning and business strategy establishment prior to ERP adoption and the demands of field people activate as critical triggers In the larger firms Among the six critical success factors, training was statistically significant for all of four performance measures control, cost reduction, quality and service, and work efficiency. And other findings are furnished. Also the larger company group In the sales volume has shown the higher performance except work efficiency.

기업에서의 비즈니스 전략 및 정보시스템의 역할은 다양하게 나타나고 있는 정보기술 환경으로 인하여 다양한 변화 및 융합을 시도하고 있다. 특히 빅 데이터의 등장과 더불어 지식기반 분석은 비즈니스 정보시스템 구축을 위한 전략적인 계획분야에서도 중요한 의미를 지니게 되었다. 다수의 연구들과 실제적인 응용을 통해서 정보시스템 전략 프로세스에 영향을 주는 조직적, 기술적, 환경적 요인들이 구체적으로 소개되고 있다. 이러한 정보시스템 계획에 영향을 주는 요인들을 입력, 프로세스, 출력의 절차적인 계획 프로세스에 포함시키고 있다. 본 연구는 정보시스템 계획을 수립하는 데 있어서 요인들과 정보, 프로세스 사이에 존재하는 의사소통 구조 요소를 발견하고 그 융합에 대해 연구한다. 비즈니스 정보시스템 프로세스 융합을 통하여 전략 목표를 평가하기 위한 프로세스를 분석한다.

As today's Information Technology (IT) becomes more global and specialized the importance of Information Technology Architecture (ITA). Based on the case study of e-commerce, this paper presents a systematic approach to Information Strategy Planning (ISP) with ITA. To implementation of strategic approach, ITA is developed to establish e-commerce projects. It is believed that the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be more receptive to results that include ISP and ITA are combined simultaneously.

Recently, hospital patients experience anxiety, confusion, and stress about wayfinding as the spacial layout and treatment circulatory system of hospitals have become complicated due to their oversized and complex structure. As part of finding a solution to the problem, this study seeks to examine what are the essential elements of the wayfinding planning of O.P.D. in general hospitals, to develop the model of wayfinding, and to suggest the methods of improving the wayfinding system. The research methods of this study adopted were literature review in wayfinding cognition, plan analysis of ten general hospitals, space analysis of these hospitals through space syntax, analysis of the system of visual-perceptual information through a field study, and analysis of surveys and follow-up surveys conducted to support the results. Based on these results, the proposals for finding decision points, providing the information, and developing a model planning are listed as follows. 1) The comprehensive understanding of O.P.D. spacial layout and the visual-perceptual information system is necessary to find the essential elements of wayfinding. 2) The decision points are found through the full understanding of spacial functions, circulation systems, and facility configuration, considering the spacial layout, the bound of the visual-perceptual information system, and the circulatory system. Furthermore, the information decision points could be confined by space syntax. 3) The checklist and color compound & color codes, developed through the planning of signage system and color system could be applied to the methods of providing the information. 4) The planning of wayfinding system according to the whole process of practices for outpatients was mentioned above. The system of visual-perceptual information developed through the process of this study should be integrated in the spacial layout of the whole O.P.D.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a web-based information system for rural settlement environment diagnosis which is useful to apply the village based evaluation for new rural development projects. To achieve this purpose, this study performed : 1) analyzing the business process in the field of rural settlement environment diagnosis, 2) designing the data flow diagram and the database based on settlement environment diagnostic indices(SEDI), and 3) developing the system using APM (Apache, PHP, and MySQL) of web-system development environment. The developed system was applied to the study rural villages for testing of efficient and logical working. Users of the system, such as, researchers, decision makers, and rural residents, can input directly the village data to diagnose through a file format of Excel in MS Office. Futhermore, they can analyze the visual results with graphic and graph types, simultaneously. From the results of this study, it showed that the developed system enables decision-makers not only to assist the planning process of the rural village development project, but also to improve the level of information technology in the research and planning field concerning with rural development.

This study proposes a systems engineering approach for the development of an advanced planning & scheduling (APS) system for a cosmetic case manufacturing factory. The APS system makes production plans and schedules based on the injection process, which consists of 27 plastic injection machines in parallel to control recommended inventory of products. The system uses machine operation/failure information and defective product/work-in-process tracking information to support intelligent scheduling. Furthermore, a genetic algorithm model is applied to handle the complexity of heuristic rules and machine/quality constraints in this process. As a result of the development, the recommended inventory compliance rate is improved by scheduling the 30-day production plan for 15 main products.

The purpose of this study is to assess and develop effective MIS planning method by applying the CSF method. With the comparative analysis of the Rockart's basic concept of CSF and the examples of the corporations which employed CSF methodology, a new CSF method more suitable to Korean business environment is proposed and applied to another company for evaluation. The new CSF methodology consists of three steps. The first step is to preexamine the business conditions. The second step contains an Introductory Workshop, interview with the managers, survey questionnaire, Focusing Workshop, and decision of the priorities for system development. The third step is a real development of an information system out of the first and second steps. As a result of this study, it is found that revised CSF method can induce top management to participate more in the activities of information system development and that it can make top management to focus on the critical area. The fulfillment of the information requirement out of the enhanced MIS planning will lead to more successful management activities.

본 논문에서는 효율적인 로봇공연시스템(RPS:Robot Performance System)을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 로봇공연시스템은 외부 음향재생장치의 도움 없이 휴머노이드 로봇 몸체에 개발한 사운드보드를 삽입하여 음향을 재생하고 공연에 필요한 음원을 사운드보드내의 외부기억장치에 기억할 수 있도록 하드웨어를 개발하였다. 또한 공연 기획 시나리오 생성 전문 소프트웨어인 RPPDP(Robot Performance Planning Development Program)를 개발하였는데, RPPDP를 이용하면 기존에 개발된 로봇의 기본동작, 응용동작 및 특별한 상황에 적용되는 동작 등을 모션데이터베이스에서 검색하여 사용할 수 있어서, 적은 비용과 짧은 시간으로 누구나 쉽게 로봇공연을 기획할 수 있도록 하였다.

도시토지이용 정보는 도시기본계획, 도시계획, 지구단위계획, 교통영향평가, 환경영향평가, 도시기반시설계획등의 가장 기본적인 자료이다. 현재 생산되고 있는 토지이용정보의 수준으로는 이러한 요구를 충족시킬 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재의 도시토지이용분류체계의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 미국의 토지에 기초한 분류체계0(LBCS)와 같은 해외 선진사례 연구를 통해서 정확한 도시토지이용정보를 획득하기 위한 도시토지이용분류 코딩체계개발 방안을 제시하여 도시토지이용자료의 표준화를 꾀하고, 자료의 호환성을 높이고자 한다.
