This paper examines the major determinants affecting the user satisfaction on e-Trade portal sites in small and medium-sized exporters. The development of our research model is based on the empirical studies on the service quality of information system, web sites or Internet shopping mall, and on the factors influencing the user satisfaction. With the help of a regression analysis and factor analysis, five hypotheses are derived and tested. The results from regression analysis suggest that the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is affected by information characteristics and ease of use of e-Trade portal sites. In addition, the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is enhanced by support for international trade. Our findings will be useful, especially for those who are planning to build user-oriented e-Trade portal sites.
The current study investigates the relationship of antecedents of flow, organizational commitment, knowledge sharing, information technology usage for knowledge sharing, and job satisfaction of organizational employees. This study analyze the effects of psychological states of employees both on affective states of them and on knowledge sharing by applying the internet-based flow theory to knowledge sharing. The antecedents of flow are found to have positive effects on organizational commitment. In addition, it is found that organizational commitment has a positive effect on knowledge sharing, information technology usage for knowledge sharing, and job satisfaction. While it is found that knowledge sharing has a positive effect on job satisfaction, it is found that information technology usage for knowledge sharing does not have an effect on job satisfaction, but have a positive effect on knowledge sharing. The result of this study would not only provide significant insights to knowledge management researchers and practitioners but also contribute to applying the flow theory to knowledge sharing.
This study investgates the factors influencing the levels of consumer satisfaction and life satisfaction of resident foreigners in Korea. The data were collected through a structured self-administered survey and 545 foreigners who lived in Korea for more than 3 months, with age over 20 participated as respondents. A research framework was formulated based on the resource constraint hypothesis and the study investigated the impact of information resource(human, media and internet information source) and consumer resource(monthly income, language ability and consumer proficiency) on the levels of consumer satisfaction and life satisfaction. The results from data analysis can be summarized as follows; First, analysis of consumer problems of resident foreigners in Korea indicated that resident foreigners recognize a burden for residence cost, food expense and education fee. Most of resident foreigners in Korea are found to use small local shops most often indicating they may experience adverse market environment due to resource constraint such as language or psychological barrier, and most of the respondents answered that the most often used payment method was cash. Furthermore, resident foreigners in Korea responded that lack of language service, lack of information provision, inability to use certain goods and services are the common cause of consumer dissatisfaction, as well as price and quality problems. Second, the level of consumer satisfaction (2.96 in 4.0) is higher than the level of life satisfaction (2.63 in 4.0). Third, the level of life satisfaction is significantly influenced by Korean language ability and the level of consumer satisfaction. The level of consumer satisfaction is by the media information source usage and consumer claim experience. Fourth, the level of consumer satisfaction is found to be the variable with the strongest causal relationship with the level of life satisfaction.

Based on Information System Success model, this study finds that tablet magazine's quality factors influence perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and intention of continuous use. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a survey for 20-40's Tablet PC users. After pilot study, we analyzed the main survey data by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0, and employed structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses. Findings Our research results are summarized as follows : First, information quality has a positive impact on user satisfaction, but not on perceived usefulness. Second, service quality has a positive impact on perceived usefulness, but not on user satisfaction. Third, perceived usefulness positively influences user satisfaction. Internet shoppers interact with Internet shopping mall systems while they shop. To understand why Internet shoppers make purchase, this study view Internet shopping malls as information systems. Although this view point seems reasonable, little previous studies employing this perspective are found in the relevant literature. This study develops a research model where Internet shoppers' transaction intentions are affected by the mediating effects of trust and satisfaction. Trust can mitigate uncertainty of the e-commerce environment for consumers, and satisfaction is widely used to measure the effectiveness of information systems. Therefore, we consider them as key elements in this study. We further employ the construct of website quality to explain why shoppers have different levels of trust and satisfaction. We classify website quality into information quality, system quality. and design quality. We collected 282 survey responses from Internet shoppers who have prior experiences with Internet shopping malls to purchase a product or service. The survey data are used to empirically test the proposed nine research hypotheses using LISREL. The LISREL results indicate that information quality and design quality have significant impact on both satisfaction and trust, while system quality has little relation to trust level. Further, trust is shown to have significant influence on satisfaction. Finally. both trust and satisfaction is strongly related to the future transaction intention.
Purpose The proliferation of data on the internet has created a need for innovative methods to analyze user satisfaction data. Traditional survey methods are becoming inadequate in dealing with the increasing volume and diversity of data, and new methods using unstructured internet data are being explored. While numerous comment-based user satisfaction studies have been conducted, only a few have explored user satisfaction through video and audio data. Multimodal sentiment analysis, which integrates multiple modalities, has gained attention due to its high accuracy and broad applicability. Design/methodology/approach This study uses multimodal sentiment analysis to analyze user satisfaction of iPhone and Samsung products through online videos. The research reveals that the combination model integrating multiple data sources showed the most superior performance. Findings The findings also indicate that price is a crucial factor influencing user satisfaction, and users tend to exhibit more positive emotions when content with a product's price. The study highlights the importance of considering multiple factors when evaluating user satisfaction and provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of different data sources for sentiment analysis of product reviews.
