  • This study analyzed the impact of YouTube creator characteristics and channel access factors on the intention to continue watching content, noting that the development of the digital media environment has diversified media audiences' content preferences and access routes. Specifically, we analyzed the effects of YouTube creator trustworthiness, attractiveness, familiarity, and social influence, as well as the effects of recommendation services on perceived usefulness, perceived ease, and perceived enjoyment. The study found that creator credibility and recommendation service had a positive impact on the perceived usefulness of content, while intimacy and charm were important factors in increasing the easy of use and playfulness of content. These perceived usefulness, ease, and playfulness also had a strong positive impact on users' intention to continue watching the channel. This suggests that trust and intimate relationships with creators and appropriate content recommendations play an important role in increasing user satisfaction and channel persistence. The significance of this study's analysis of creator and channel access factors based on the extended technology acceptance model is that it shows the potential for extending and applying the existing technology acceptance model to the digital content environment.

  • Electronic discovery refers to the discovery of electronically stored information. The differences between producing paper documents and electronic information can be categorized into seven groups: massive volume, persistence, dynamic and changeable contents, metadata, environment-dependence, dispersion and searchability. Since these differences make the discovery more expensive and less expeditious, it is necessary to limit the scope of discovery. Accordingly, a number of arbitration institutions have already introduced rules, guidelines or protocols on electronic discovery. ICDR guidelines take a minimal approach and address only the proper form of electronic document. CIArb Protocol is intended to act as a checklist for discovery of electronic data. CPR Protocol offers four modes of discovery of electronic documents ranging from minimal to extensive among which the parties may choose the way of electronic discovery. IBA Rules on Evidence and ICC Rules are silent on the issue of electronic discovery, however, working parties of the ICC are considering updates to the rules to deal with electronic discovery. It is disputed whether rules, guidelines or protocols on electronic discovery is necessary or appropriate. Although some have suggested that existing rules can make adequate provision for electronic discovery, it is more desirable to prepare new rules, guidelines or protocols to make arbitrators and counsels be familiar with electronic discovery process, to provide an adequate standard for electronic discovery and to limit the time and cost of electronic discovery. Such rules on electronic discovery should include provisions regarding the form of electronic document production, conference between parties regarding electronic discovery, keyword search, bearing the expenses to reduce disputes over electronic discovery.

  • An aim of this study was to evaluate an effect of misinterpretation of pregnancy related cellular changes on the postpartum regression rate of abnormal cervical smears in pregnancy. A series of 265 cases with abnormal cervical smears in pregnancy were selected from a database of cervical smear results. The selected cases were classified as regression, persistence, and progression based on the results of postpartum cervical smears and histology. Of the selected cases, 162 cases were classified as regression and the postpartum regression rate was 61.1% (162/265). We reviewed abnormal cervical smears in pregnancy these cases. The primary cytologic diagnoses of these cases were ASCUS (118 cases), AGUS (2 cases), ASCUS/AGUS (1 case), LSIL (25 cases), LSIL R/O HSIL (2 cases), and HSIL (14 cases). With information of the pregnacy, we identified decidual cells in 24 cases, but cells identified by the Arias-Stella reaction and trophoblasts were not found. Sixteen cases out of 162 cases were reclassified as a pregnancy related change rather than an abnormal. Desidual cells were considered as ASCUS in 15 cases and as LSIL in one case. The revised postpartum regression rate was 55.5%(147/265) and was lower than the original. Consequently, misinterpretation of the pregnancy related cellular changes has an effect on a rise of the postpartum regression rate of the abnormal cervical smear in pregnancy. Pathologists may diagnose pregnancy related cellular changes as abnormal findings if they do not have information regarding the pregnancy. Therefore, clinical information of pregnancy and knowledge about the pregnancy related cellular changes are essential to prevent misinterpretation.

  • There has never been research on Chaos analysis using real estate auction sale price rate in Korea. In this study, three Chaos analysis methodologies - Hurst exponent, correlation dimension, and maximum Lyapunov exponent - in order to capture the nonlinear deterministic dynamic system characteristics. High level of Hurst exponent and the extremely low maximum Lyapunov exponent provide the tendency and the persistence of the data. The empirical results give two meaningful facts. First, monthly time lags of the correlation dimension are coincident with the time period from the approval auction start day to the sale price fixing day. Second, its weekly time lags correspond to the time period from the last day of request for sale price allocation to the sale price fixing day. Then, this study potentially examines the predictability of the real estate auction price rate time series.

  • This study was started on the premise that it was necessary to analyze the users and their needs of the national bibliography in order to develop a new national bibliographic service strategy. Based on this premise, the main purpose of this study is to analyze the users' situation and needs on the Korean national bibliography, and to establish a new service strategy that reflects the user's perspective. In addition, it has a secondary purpose to find the basis for justifying the value and persistence of the national bibliography from user. To this end, first, identified the main user groups of national bibliography through literature and case studies. The data were collected from a interview with 51 people from 4 groups (librarian, researcher, publishing distributor, end user) that are expected to use national bibliography. As a result of the interview, it was possible to confirm very low awareness and utilization of the national bibliography. In addition, the interview results revealed that there is a need for improvement in terms of the method of operating the national bibliography, the content to be provided, and service.

  • Recently, there is a growing interest in learning to use games as a teaching method for digital native learners. In this study, we conducted a path analysis between bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, linguistic intelligence, flow, learning outcomes(academic achievement, persistence intention) in motion-capture game-based learning(the used game developed for elementary school history class). As a result, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence directly influenced flow and indirectly influenced learning outcomes. Linguistic intelligence did not have direct influence on flow and indirect effects on learning outcomes. Through this result, we expected that the motion-capture game-based learning facilitate learning motivation and performance of learners for higher bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.
