Construction industry is an aggregate of information that diverse information is integrated and controlled. To implement successful construction projects, it can be said that the information management is very important. In particular, because information of construction sites is controlled in a form of documents, importance of the document management in construction has been increased. But, by controlling information through documents, there are difficult problems in writing and classification of the documents and preservation and utilization of the information. Also, due to incompletion of the information management system, difficulty in systematic info management arises. For this reason, this study intends to suggest the document information breakdown structure for controlling document info efficiently which is generated at construction sites. For this, through the examination of preceding studies, establishment of the concept of the document info breakdown structure, the space breakdown structure, and the info breakdown structure, availability of document information is intended to heighten.

본 논문에서는 TMN개념을 도입하여 관리 망의 물리구조를 설계하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 통신망의 종합적인 관리를 위한 관리 망의 구조를 계층적으로 분석하여 하위계층에 해당하는 물리계층의 구조를 설계하였다. 특히 TMN개념을 이용하였을 때의 물리구조에 기본이 되는 TMN-DCN을 설계의 대상으로 하였고 신속한 관리정보의 송·수신으로 망 관리의 효율을 높일 수 있는 설계방법을 제안하고 설계를 실시하였다. 결과적으로 물리구조를 구성하는 총 링크설치 비용이 어느 정도(4.8-7.1%, 정도)증가 하지만 관리정보를 가장 빠르게 전송(약 5.0 %)할 수 있었다.

This paper is to aimed to design a model of Korea defense information resource management structure from the viewpoint of system's approach, especially focusing on planning/programming procedures, organizational structure and business process re-engineering. The author analyzed current projects and plans on the field of Korea defense information systems, for finding what kinds of problems and why the problems occurred. The author concluded that many problems came from wrong approach of previous information resource management. Highlights of the proposed model are as follows: 1) Planning and programming structure must be considered as a major information resources and it must be managed as a key role through the whole system life cycle; 2) Organizational structure should be properly set up for managing and implementing information system projects; 3) Business process should also be analyzed thoroughly for re-engineering and innovating current inefficient organizational structure. These three additional viewpoints added to previous model for improving Korea defense information resource management.

Design is an act based on multidisciplinary information. The involvement of various stakeholders makes it difficult to process, plan, and integrate. Iteration is frequent in most of the engineering design and development projects including construction. Design iterations cause rework, and extra efforts are required to get the optimal sequence and to manage the projects. The simple project management techniques are insufficient to fulfill the requirements of integrated design. This paper entails two things: design structure matrix and design parameters' information based model. The emphasis has been given to optimal sequence and crucial iteration using design structure matrix analysis technique. The design projects have been studied using survey data from industry. The optimal sequence and crucial iterations results have been utilized for proposed model. Model integrates two things: information about produced- required key design parameters and information of design changes during the design process. It will help to get familiar with Design management in order to fulfill contemporary needs.

건설산업은 다양한 참여자가 상호협동을 통하여 진행되며, 각 건설 단계별로 다양한 정보가 발생되고 관리되는 정보의 집합체라고 할 수 있다. 건설 프로젝트의 대부분의 정보는 문서의 형대로 발생됨으로 인하여 현장의 문서관리는 프로젝트의 성공적인 수행에 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 건설현장에서는 다양한 IT기술의 적용을 통하여 정보를 효율적으로 관리하고자한 다양한 노력을 하고 있다. 그러나 건설현장의 대부분의 정보가 비구조화된 문서의 형태로 정보가 관리되고 정보관리 체계의 미비로 인하여 효율적인 정보의 축적과 관리가 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 BIM기술을 통하여 건설현장의 정보를 관리하기 위한 정보의 분류체계 및 정보 연계를 위한 건설정보 데이터베이스 체계를 제안함으로써 건설현장의 정보 축적 및 효율성을 제고하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문서관리와 정보연계 관련 선행연구 검토를 통하여 건설현장의 정보를 구조화하기 위한 공간분류체계와 정보분류체계를 제안하였고 정보 축적을 위한 데이터베이스를 설계하였다. 그리고 BIM기반 건설정보 데이터베이스를 시나리오를 통해 적용해 봄으로써 건설정보 데이터베이스의 구현 가능성을 검토할 수 있었다.

This study presents a database quality evaluation framework. As a way to build a framework, this study expands data quality management to include data transformation processes as well as data. Further, an information structure graph is applied to represent data transformations processes. An information structure graph is absed on a relational database scheme. Thus, data transformation processes may be stored in a relational database. This kind of integration of data transformation metadata with technical metadata eases evaluation of database qualities and their causes.

Recently, e-business has very much attention in the management fields because it is expected to fundamentally change the way many business compete. Business that don't understand the changes and that can't change their operating model in time will be at a disadvantage. Information technology infrastructure and its management are key components of e-business The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of information technology infrastructure and its management to the type of information systems used and the use of e-business. A total of 56 Korean firms responded to the survey instrument. There was indirect effect to the use of e-business from the information technology structure via communication capacity and direct effect from management type. The study also found that firms with less centralized forms of information technology were more frequent users of e-business, Firms that have more freedom in information technology decision making tended to be users of the new technology and take advantage opportunities that exits on the information technology.

Several scholars in South Korea have predicted that maintenance costs of social infrastructure will sharply increase from the mid-2020s, and cause budgetary deficits among facilities management agencies. Interest in infrastructure asset management (IAM) is rising as a solution to such problem. In this study, an information system for asset valuation that reflects the salvage value and deferred cost of social infrastructure based on WBS (work breakdown structure) was developed in consideration of IAM. To reuse the construction cost information such as the acquisition cost, the interconnection between CBS (cost breakdown structure) and WBS was considered. Furthermore, asset valuation information was developed with XML schema to facilitate the exchange and reuse of the information among project participants.

Top management's will was considered most positive by all of the surveyed local businesses, followed by organizational culture, information technology, evaluation and reward, and organizational structure in order. When influences of educational background on factors of success in knowledge management were analyzed, it was found that such background was affecting organizational structure at the significance level of 0.01 and information technology and top management's will at that of 0.05. Those who were more educated responded that success in knowledge management were dependent more on top management's will. but less on organizational structure. Concerning effects of organizational position on factors of success in knowledge management, it was found that such position was influencing top management's will at the significance level of 0.01 and organizational structure at that of 0.05. Those who were higher in organizational position responded that success in knowledge management were dependent less on top management's will, but more on organizational culture, and evaluation and reward. It as generally agreed among the surveyed businesses that knowledge management is a key strategy for business survival in the 21st century. To utilize knowledge management as their strategy, Korea's businesses should change their recognition of such management, reform their organizational culture, have CEOs of strong conviction and will and firmly establish their own information technology. It is necessary to make recognized the importance of knowledge management and culture knowledge management culture. If a person has a strong conviction or will of achieving goals by using intellectual efforts, creative imagination and necessary information, such information can be regarded as a proper knowledge. In conclusion, knowledge enterprises should strengthen their ability of knowledge use by associating their competition strategies with knowledge management. They also need to positively invest in the capture and new development of knowledge and build up infrastructures for knowledge management.

The objective of this study is to suggest modified Covariance Structure Analysis that combine with existing Multivariate Statistical Method which is used Casual Analysis Method in Management Information. For this purpose, we'll consider special feature and limitation about Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis, Path Analysis and connect Covariance Structure Analysis with Statistical Factor Analysis so that theoretical casual model compare with variables structure in collecting data. A example is also presented to show the practical applicability of this approach.
