This study aimed at overviewing the situation of information literacy education and research in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region, and developing an ASEAN network model on information literacy. This research used documentary and qualitative research methods. Key resources consisted of twenty bibliometric studies and related documents and two groups of key persons. The first group consisted of twenty-seven purposive key persons from eight countries, and the second group consisted of seven key persons from five countries. The research instruments comprised a data collection form and focus group/ interviewing forms. Data was collected by focus group discussion and online interviews, and qualitative content analysis was used in data analysis and presented descriptively. Research findings showed that: 1) information literacy education and research in the ASEAN region varied across countries and placed importance on the educational context. Singapore was found to be the most leading and productive country in ASEAN in information literacy with the highest number of journal articles on the international scale, and was among the most contributing groups at the regional and global level; 2) the ASEAN Network on Information Literacy (ASEAN-NIL) has been developed as a model with its principles, objectives, management system, activities, and promotion strategies. Its strengths are an integrated scope, multidimensional orientation, and interdisciplinary and collaborative partnerships at the national, regional, and international level, suitable for the ASEAN context, the online environment, and the digital educational ecosystem.

A basic ability test is conducted in recent days to screen gifted students who could make a contribution to the enhancement of national competitiveness in knowledge-based information society. A basic ability is here defined as an ability related to creativity and thinking faculty, and CS literacy is ruled out, though it seems that everybody needs CS literacy in knowledge-based information society. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between CS literacy and giftedness. The subjects in this study were 61 gifted students. The selected students participated in an CS program during a six-week period of time in order to find out the effect of the program. And it's found that there were gaps among the students in CS literacy according to the level of giftedness, and information science literacy has a statistically significant correlation to giftedness. Therefore a screening test of gifted students should cover CS literacy, as CS literacy seems to be mandatory for every field of information society.

The purpose of this study is to design and develop the test standard to measure AI literacy abilities. First, we selected key areas of AI literacy through the related studies and expert FGI and designed detailed standard. The area of the test standard is divided into three categories: AI concept, practice, and impact. In order to confirm the validity of the test standard, we conducted twice expert validity tests and then modified and supplemented the test index. To confirm the validity of the test standard, we conducted an expert validity test twice and then modified and supplemented the test standard. The final AI literacy test standard consisted of a total of 30 questions. The AI literacy test standard developed in this study can be an important tool for developing self-checklists or AI competency test questions for measuring AI literacy ability.
