  • In this paper, we proposed an integrated infrastructure for optimal information security to resolve these kinds of problems and to implement more powerful protection. The proposed infrastructure presents a security framework, provides a functional mechanism, and implements a scheme for information security based on the design concept of integrated structures. In order to ensure effective malicious traffic blocking, this paper emphasizes that a comprehensive approach through infrastructure improvement and combination of scanning tool is the only measure for preparing against today's environment of virus infiltration. The proposed model is a measure developed at a time when a permanent technological solution to virus is yet to be developed. A performance analysis model is developed and the performance is evaluated through the case studies for the proposed methodology. The effectiveness of the infrastructure for optimal information security needs the continuous diagnostic evaluation and tuning through the users or the organizations.

  • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) is a core infrastructure of Smart Grid, and is promoting in various country. Wireless network is considered for cost savings and operational efficiencies in AMI. But various security problems are expected in wireless networks of AMI, so we should solve these problems. In this paper, we suggest a wireless network of AMI by using Binary CDMA and security countermeasures of AMI wireless network. Proposed security architecture is using BSIM (Binary Subscriber Identity Module) to perform user authentication and key agreement for the encryption and decryption over radio network to reduce security threats.

  • This paper provides a model for aligning business and information technology strategies. The model, expanded from the earlier study by Henderson and Venkatraman, is composed of four elements: business strategy, business infrastructure, information technology strategy, and information technology infrastructure, and suggests different ways of aligning business and information technology strategies. Basically, there are three types of aligning: integrating, domain based aligning, business reengineering. The validity of the model is supported by case studies.

  • Researches, studies, and most administration services at the universities are currently carried out through computers. So the IT infrastructure and. the information system of the university are becoming complicated. When a user has problems in using the information system, it is very difficult to get solution for that problem even a computer center or a help desk exists. In this paper we propose a method to establish a service desk based on the ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) to support efficient learning at the universities. The proposed method in this paper can be used to establish a systematic learning support system when errors of computation happen in learning, researches, and administrative tasks at the universities.

  • Korea's port infrastructure is rapidly aging, with old port facilities with more than 30 years of public life expected to surge from about 23% in 2019 to 47% in 2029. Traditional, aging ports lose competitiveness in logistics processing, reducing development around the port and increasing human casualties due to the human resource-based maintenance of the facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to solve this problem by establishing systematic management technology based on a digital twin. This research aimed to present the specific implementation steps of a digital twin reflecting smart port technology through cases of port infrastructure disasters, aging status, and smart ports. The study analyzed the port infrastructure linkage system and created and mapped scenarios essential for digital twin implementation. Three-dimensional (3D) modeling and simulation data for disaster and aging management among existing port infrastructure systems were collected. A digital twin port was implemented with 3D modeling. It implements a port digital twin simulation that links data such as sensing data and image data acquired from the port infrastructure in real time. Implementing a digital twin port for port infrastructure disasters and aging management can secure predictive port infrastructure management and disaster safety

  • Recently, much research has been actively conducted for a new kind of network environment ubiquitous computing. This paper will define the smart-tag technology required by a ubiquitous environment. We will describe how to apply smart-tag-related Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) research for GIS in underground social infrastructure, a local-area wireless-communication technology. Application development is important that will be able to materialize a network environment. This research promotes various application developments, such reason currently it establishes the IT 839 from domestic. The geographic information system construction is a part of IT 839. The research which is various becomes accomplished for the ubiquitous of social base facility from domestic. Consequently, in this paper analyzes the geographic information system of existing, researches based RFID underground social infrastructure management system development. The Proposed method is complements the method of existing, and is efficient for underground social infrastructure. This system is new management system for underground social infrastructure, and provides safe administrator function using authentication of active RFID tag. It provides real processing and autonomy of administrator.

  • Recently the use of smart phones and mobile devices is increasing rapidly, data search and retrieval in the mobile environments are generalized. There are only few mobile applications available in the area of agriculture while huge amount of new applications are developed and uploaded. The purpose of this study was to develop the android based mobile application for providing agricultural infrastructure and disaster information. The mobile application was designed through the database establishment and management system, server management system, and mobile application development. The database is composed of weather data, agricultural infrastructure data, and agricultural disaster data. By developing the mobile application which provides agricultural infrastructure information, it is expected to improve the accessibility to agricultural information and mitigate the agricultural disaster damages.

  • Alkali-silica reaction (ASR) in concrete can induce degradation in its mechanical properties, leading to compromised serviceability and even loss in load capacity of concrete structures. Compared to other properties, ASR often affects the modulus of elasticity more significantly. Several empirical models have thus been established to estimate elastic modulus reduction based on the ASR expansion only for condition assessment and capacity evaluation of the distressed structures. However, it has been observed from experimental studies in the literature that for any given level of ASR expansion, there are significant variations on the measured modulus of elasticity. In fact, many other factors, such as cement content, reactive aggregate type, exposure condition, additional alkali and concrete strength, have been commonly known in contribution to changes of concrete elastic modulus due to ASR. In this study, an artificial intelligent model using artificial neural network (ANN) is proposed for the first time to provide an innovative approach for evaluation of the elastic modulus of ASR-affected concrete, which is able to take into account contribution of several influence factors. By intelligently fusing multiple information, the proposed ANN model can provide an accurate estimation of the modulus of elasticity, which shows a significant improvement from empirical based models used in current practice. The results also indicate that expansion due to ASR is not the only factor contributing to the stiffness change, and various factors have to be included during the evaluation.
