The purpose of this research is to develop a service R&D concept definition and finding service R&D demand in Korea. It is necessary to develop an effective service R&D model to improve the competitiveness of the service industry. A survey model for finding service R&D demands has been developed through extensive discussions with experts. A demand survey for 91 experts in service industry and academia has been conducted to find relative weights of each service R&D category. Several other aspects on service R&D has beed investigated to analyze the relative importance of service R&D subjects. And a benchmarking on previous service R&D research investment has been performed. Past and present service R&D topics are compared as a whole and by each individual domain. A service R&D framework and important funding areas has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for research fund allocation decisions for strengthening service industry competitiveness.

Purpose: Marketing networks are essential for firms to gain new information and resources, yet their effect on innovation performance under uncertainty remains unclear. This study aims to elucidate the effects of technological and demand variability on the innovation performance of first-tier suppliers, considering different levels of structural holes. It particularly explores how structural holes moderate the relationship between uncertain factors and innovation performance. Research design, data and methodology: To assess the hypotheses, a survey was conducted with the first-tier suppliers. The survey targeted internal networks and the relationships between manufacturers, suppliers, and subsuppliers. Structural equation modeling was employed to validate the hypotheses using measures from previous research. Results: The findings indicate that the impact of technological uncertainty and demand variability on innovation performance varies based on the extent of structural holes in the network. Conclusions: This study provides both theoretical and practical insights for distribution channels, highlighting the competitive advantage of interfirm networks in uncertain conditions. However, the focus on the engineering industry may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future research should explore a broader range of industries to improve result applicability.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the demand for telemedicine and telehealthmanagement services, which are key elements of home based u-health. The conjoint analysis, which is a conventional method for demand analysis for newly introduced products, is employed, utilizing the survey data on 500 seoul citizens. Further, multivariate probit model is used to estimate the demand. The result shows that the demand for telemedicine services is greater than that of telehealthmanagement services. Further, home-based u-health services will play a role as a complementary for face-to-face medical treatments, rather than a substitute. Meanwhile, the demand for home-based u-health services is found to be very sensitive to price.

ICT 산업의 패러다임과 무선통신 서비스 진화에 따라 전송매체인 전파에 대한 수요가 급증되는 상황에서 전문가 및 일반국민을 대상으로 주파수, 무선국 및 연구개발 자료등 전파와 관련된 전파정보 수요조사를 실시하였고 이를 바탕으로 수요자가 요구하는 개방의 우선순위를 정하였다. 또한, 미국, 영구, 호주, 일본 등 해외 주요국의 전파정보개방 현황, 개방 원칙 및 예외사항, 개방시스템 등을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 분석을 통해 우리나라의 전파정보 개방 전략 방향성을 수립하였으며 향후 과제로서 법제화방안 및 전파정보를 효율적으로 관리 및 통제할 수 있는 체계의 수립을 제안하였다.

정책정보는 유일무이성, 전문성, 특정성 면에서 국가적으로 매우 가치가 있으며, 정책정보가 국민 개개인에게 주는 의미는 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 정부 및 행정기관이 갖고 있는 정책정보에 개인 누구나 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 제도적인 장치가 필요함은 물론 효율적인 정책정보서비스시스템의 개발은 매우 시급한 과제라 할 수 있다. 그러나 국내에는 정책정보를 총괄적으로 제공하기 위한 정책이나 시스템이 없는 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 설문조사를 통해 우리나라 정책정보유통기관의 현황을 분석하고. 국내 정책정보유통에 대한 요구분석을 하고자 한다. 이를 통해 국내에 산재되어 있는 정책정보를 국가적 차원으로 통합하여 국가정책정보 인프라를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

Because of various stresses with rapid change of social structure, the number of the disabled increase steadily. So, the interest of touch garden which the disabled interact with nature and communicate with the non-disabled is more in demand. This study carried out a survey for landuse, facilities, therapeutic garden in creating touch gardens targeting the disabled using them. The results are as follows: At first, the appropriate natural facilities can lead return visit of the disabled. The second, general facilities for information and barrier-free are insufficient. The third, the disabled demand more places for sense of touch and vision, and, also they demand more places for feeling various living things and sense of the season. And the last, the disabled have no experience in therapeutic gardens, but they have consensus for creating special places for the disabled. This study carried out a survey for specially designated user such as the disabled, but through it, it is expected to establish developed design guidelines for creating touch gardens and therapeutic gardens.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the demand for natural environment therapy among parents of patients with atopic dermatitis. Methods: The questionnaire-based survey was conducted on the parents of 310 patients with atopic dermatitis (158 male and 152 female, median age 8 years, ranging from 2 to 21 years). The questionnaire consisted of 10 questions including demographic information, preference of environmental therapy and related choices. Results: Regardless of illness severity or gender, parents agreed with the importance of environmental therapy in treatment for atopic dermatitis. 55.2% of parents had considered moving to the countryside for their children with atopic dermatitis. 74.5% of parents answered positively to the possibility of movement to an atopy-free village, and this rate was significantly higher in parents of patients with severe symptoms (p < 0.05). Educational facilities and eco-environment were considered to be the most important factors in their decision. In addition, parents opted for organic food cooperatives, which was also felt necessary for their children suffering from atopic dermatitis. Conclusions: This study is the first report suggesting the extent of demand for environmental therapies among patients with atopic dermatitis. This information will be helpful in developing therapeutics using the natural environment in Korean medicine.

현재 유비쿼터스 서비스에 대한 국민들의 인지도는 상당한 수준에 이르렀다. 하지만 정작 이러한 u-서비스는 수요자가 아닌 공급자 위주로 이루어지고 있다. 이를 보완하고자 일반인을 대상으로 하여 u-서비스에 대한 온라인 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문조사는 교통, 보건/의료, 환경/도시관리, 문화/교육, 행정, 산업 분야의 서비스에 대한 필요도를 묻는 5지선다형의 24문항으로 구성되었다. 총 2,463명이 참여하였고, 이들을 연령, 지역, 학력, 성별로 분류하여 각 집단이 원하는 서비스 분야를 연구하였다. 유비쿼터스 서비스에 대한 전반적인 수요는 남성이 여성보다 높았으며, 연령이 많아질수록 높아지는 경향이 있었다.

본고는 국내 나노기술 분야의 정보자원 현황 및 향후 정보 수요에 대한 연구를 수행한 것으로서, 나노기술전문가 500여명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 나노기술 정보자원 현황 조사, 나노기술 수집현황 조사, 나노기술 정보수요 조사 등을 실시하였고, 이를 기술 분야별, 콘텐츠 종류별로 분석 연구하였다. 또한 정보 이용자들의 정보 활용도 및 만족도를 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 나노기술정보 활용 방안과 전문콘텐츠 제작을 위한 방향을 설정하고 나아가 나노기술 정보정책을 수립하는데 유용한 제안을 도출하고자 한다.

This study aims to build a model dealing with the location decision of new manufacturing firms and their land demand. The model is composed with 1) the binary logit model structure identifying a future probability of manufacturing firms to locate in a city and their land demand; and 2) the land use suitability of the land demand. The model was empirically tested in the case of Anseong City. We used establishment-level data for the manufacturing industry from the Report on Mining and Manufacturing Survey. 48 industry groups were scrutinized to find the location probability in the city and their land demand via logit model with the dependent variables: number of employment, land capital, building capital, total products, and value-added for a new industry since 2001. It is forecasted that the future land areas (to 2025) for the manufacturing industries in the city are $5.94km^2$ and additional land demand for clustering the existing industries scattered over the city is $2.lkm^2$. Five industrial complex locations were identified through the land use suitability analysis.
