UCI 상호참조에 기반한 참조연계시스템의 구현 (Establishment of Reference Linking Systems on UCI Cross-Reference)

  • This paper describes Cross reference services in Knowledge contents based on UCI. Cross references are effective features that can increase the value of the contents. Knowledge contents include academic papers, research reports, archives, historical and cultural heritage, and professional databases. Cross references are consists of reference-to and cited-by links which can be made by reference list in article. Some of cross reference services provided are considered. We designed cross reference services for knowledge contents in Korea and prototype services are provided. The reference linking service in the area of national R&D will enable the linking of heterogeneous information produced at different sources.

  • In this paper, we design and develop a personalized advertisement and information services system based on mobile RFID using RFID virtual tag. It is a system to perform the use of the contents information or the commercial transaction on the contents products through internet server connection by using RFID tag information with a mobile according as transmitting immediately to a cell phone after a tag generator derived RFID tag information to be substituted for the contents information being output at present, after being transmitted from a cell phone the information request signal on the contents information being output from video media. This service system provides a mechanism for gathering advertisement information left behind by many clients visiting advertisement sites for analysis of customers property, service model for selecting personalized services, and mechanism for providing them to customers who visited in a advertisement mall joined to the shopping site.

  • With advent of IPTV services and availability of various web contents, users can enjoy various contents via internet. In order to effectively provide a large amount of web contents to users, personalized IPTV services are required to the user's sides. In this paper, we extend the current ATOM schema for personalized IPTV services and propose a IPTV service framework based on IPTV personalization.

  • 모바일콘텐츠는 무선 단말기에서 서비스되는 모든 콘텐츠를 의미하고 크게 커뮤니케이션, 인포메이션, 엔터테인먼트의 3가지 유형으로 나누어볼 수 있다. 이러한 다양한 유형의 모바일콘텐츠들은 각각의 특성들이 있기 때문에 콘텐츠 유형에 따라 서비스 성공을 위한 영향요인들은 차이가 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 콘텐츠 서비스의 성공에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들을 도출하고 서비스 유형별로 각 영향요인들은 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 분석해 본다. 또한, 영향요인들의 영향력과 사용자의 인식도를 비교 분석하여 유의한 시사점을 도출한다.

  • Many information providers in the electronic market struggle to attain revenue from their information goods including contents or other services and they tend to charge for their contents or services since they are confronted with difficulties in attaining revenue from online advertising. This study examines why they begin to charge for their contents or services and explores Pricing strategies for their contents. Also, this paper explores business strategies when conventional offline contents firms enter the online contents market and draws some implications for the condition of entry of offline contents providers into the online market.

  • The existing mashup service providers have induced users to participate in their own made services and have grown their services by user participations and contributing contents. Recent services based on Web2.0 are called by 'Open (Content) Service' which means anyone can provide new services to the others without any of their own contents. But unfortunately the most of these days services are not opened. They just using mashups for increasing their service's traffics. We introduce the way to make a simple service to provide searching videos present it with extracted keyword from external content without our own contents at all. this show that how to combine the content with another contents or services.

  • The web 2.0 is leading a rapid change of internet services. The UCC(User Created Contents) service is one of the representative internet services with web 2.0 paradigm. In this paper, we design and implement the UCC services prototype system for image and video. The proposed system does not need to install ActiveX and client programs on devices of users to edit their contents. All processes for editing UCC are conducted on the server. Our proposed system consists of the two components such as the multimedia editing subsystem and the metadata management system. They provide the API to UCC service developers or vendors. The multimedia editing subsystem supports editing for image and video, and the streaming services of video. The metadata management subsystem supports the metadata management and retrieval of image and video.

  • With the rapid growth of internet infrastructure, World Wide Web is evolving recently into various services such as cloud computing, social network services. It simply go beyond the sharing of information. It started to provide new services such as E-business, remote control or management, providing virtual services, and recently it is evolving into new services such as cloud computing and social network services. These kinds of communications through World Wide Web have been interested in and have developed user-centric customized services rather than providing provider-centric informations. In these environments, it is very important to check and analyze the user requests to a website. Especially, estimating user preferences is most important. For these reasons, analyzing web logs is being done, however, it has limitations that the most of data to analyze are based on page unit statistics. Therefore, it is not enough to evaluate user preferences only by statistics of specific page. Because recent main contents of web page design are being made of media files such as image files, and of dynamic pages utilizing the techniques of CSS, Div, iFrame etc. In this paper, large log analyzer was designed and executed to analyze web server log to estimate web contents preferences of users. With mapreduce which is based on Hadoop, large logs were analyzed and web contents preferences of media files such as image files, sounds and videos were estimated.

뉴-미디어 기상정보 서비스 프레임워크 개발 연구 (A Study on Framework Development of Weather Information Services on New-Media)

  • 본 논문은 옥외 전광판, DID, 지상파 다채널방송 등 뉴-미디어에 적합한 콘텐츠 가공 및 제공을 위한 기상정보 서비스 프레임워크 개발연구이다. 미디어 이용에 대한 분석과 인지과학의 내용을 도입하여 기상정보의 인지률을 높이는 컨텐츠 제작 방법을 제시하고, 뉴-미디어에 대하여 기상정보서비스의 계층적 프레임워크를 설계 한다. 다양한 뉴-미디어에대한서비스를 프레임워크로 통합함으로써 중복된 서비스 투자를 방지하고 기술적으로도 한 단계 발전할 수 있는 계기를 마련한다.

  • 스마트폰을 비롯한 모바일 디바이스와 다양한 영상제작도구의 발전에 따라 디지털콘텐츠의 생산량이 증가하고 있으며 그 수요는 날로 증가하고 있다. 위치정보가 포함된 GeoContents의 경우 위치기반의 사용자 맞춤 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 특히 사진 등의 이미지 콘텐츠는 사용자 위치정보와 주변 POI 정보를 활용 다양한 위치기반서비스가 상용화되어 있다. 동영상 콘텐츠의 경우 프레임별로 위치정보가 다름에도 불구하고, 아직까지 대표위치를 기반으로 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프레임별 위치정보가 포함된 동영상 콘텐츠를 GeoVideo라 정의하고, GeoVideo 콘텐츠를 제작하고 활용하기 위해서 GeoVideo 제작 도구 및 뷰어 소프트웨어를 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 GeoVideo는 사용자 위치정보 기반의 동영상 콘텐츠 검색 서비스 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
