유전 알고리듬 기반 제품구매예측 모형의 개발 (A GA-based Classification Model for Predicting Consumer Choice)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a new classification method for predicting consumer choice based on genetic algorithm, and to validate its prediction power over existing methods. To serve this purpose, we propose a hybrid model, and discuss its methodological characteristics in comparison with other existing classification methods. Also, to assess the prediction power of the model, we conduct a series of experiments employing survey data of consumer choices of MP3 players. The results show that the suggested model in this paper is statistically superior to the existing methods such as logistic regression model, artificial neural network model and decision tree model in terms of prediction accuracy. The model is also shown to have an advantage of providing several strategic information of practical use for consumer choice.

메뉴북의 바탕색과 활자의 가독성이 메뉴 선택에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Research on the Effects of Colors and Legibility of Menu on the Choice of Menu Items)

  • The food service industry is maturing day by day. Nowadays, people recognize the importance of menu. Menu is not just for the communication of information about menu items. It is also an important marketing tool. Past research was about the choice of menu items. However, the colors and legibility of menu are also important. The basic color and legibility of menu may affect the choice of menu items. Also, customers have different preferences when it comes to menu design. In the past, however, food service industry experts did not work closely with menu designers. The next section reviews the research on the chromatology of menu and lettering preferred by customers. In addition, a method to plan the design of menu is suggested.

아파트 입지특성별 분양전략과 주택선택행동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Apartment Housing Sales Information and Housing Choice Behavior according to Housing Location in Pusan)

  • This study attempts to find out the characteristic of apartment housing sales information and housing choice behavior according to housing location. For this purpose, the apartment housing sales information in newspaper advertising was investigated and analyzed by advertising appeals to clarify the phenomenon of apartment housing sales and the components of home environmental quality according to housing location in Pusan. Then the field survey has been carried out based on 176 households living in Pusan. The major findings are as follows: 1) The components of home environment through AAs were divided into three categories of appeals: residential area, site area and dwelling unit area. 2) Apartment housing developments were differentiated according to period of development and occupancy scales according to housing location. 3) The results of field survey showed users' housing location. 4) The characteristics of apartment housing sales information according to housing location were revealed those characteristic were concentrated on the category of residential area than site area or dwelling unit area. But in housing choice behavior, the characteristics of housing location appeared in all categories of home environment. Therefore, for better apartment housing development and planning, the characteristics of housing location need to be considered more actively.

The Relationship between Future Orientation, Regulatory Focus, and Need for Cognition and Healthy Menu Choices

  • The effect of nutritional information on healthier menu choices have been reflected in previous research and nutrition policy efforts. This study further examines the relationship between healthy menu choices and three consumer characteristics - Future Orientation, Regulatory Focus, and Need for Cognition. A $3{\times}3$ experimental design was used with varying food types (burger sandwiches, sub sandwiches, and salad dressing) and the degree of nutritional information (no information, total calories only, and full nutrition information). It was found that having more nutritional information, and individuals with Future Orientation and Promotion Focus were associated with the choice of healthier menus. More specifically, those with high Consideration of Future Consequences and with Promotion Orientation switched their choices to the healthier ones with the provision of nutritional information.

베이커리 소비자의 특성 및 구매행동에 따른 선택속성 차이 (Difference in Bakery Choice Attributes according to Consumers' Characteristics and Purchasing Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in bakery choice attributes according to consumers' general characteristics and purchasing behavior. Among 350 questionnaires distributed to bakery consumers, 277 complete questionnaires (79.1%) were analyzed. Bakery choice attributes were classified into five factors: "environment and image", "bakery product features", "location", "employee service", and "price and sales promotion"; the mean scores of these factors' importance levels were 3.59, 3.58, 3.49, 3.36, and 3.00, respectively. Males considered 'employee service' factor significantly more than did females. Further, the importance level of 'employee service' factor was significantly greater as consumer's age increased. The importance levels of 'bakery product features' and 'employee service' factors were considered significantly more by consumers who spent KRW10,000-15,000 than those who spent KRW5,000 or less. 'Price and sales promotion' was considered to be more important by consumers who obtained information from the Internet than from the TV and radio. 'Location' factor was considered to be more significant as purchasing frequency increased. Such differences in importance level of bakery choice attributes according to consumers' gender, age, job, and purchasing behavior should be considered and applied to the development of marketing strategies targeted at consumers.

선택대안의 수와 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도가 점포 내 구매결정에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Number of Alternatives and Product Familarity on Consumer Purchase Decisions)

  • 유통업체는 다양한 상품구색을 갖는 것이 좋다는 생각이 일반적이다. 그리나 최근 연구들은 선택대안의 수를 증가시키는 것이 오히려 소비자 선택을 떨어뜨린다고 한다. 본 연구는 선택대안의 수가 늘어나는 맥락에서 소비자 구매결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서는 선택대안의 수가 실제 고려제품군의 크기에 해당하는 $3{\sim}9$개인 경우, 선택대안의 수가 늘어남에 따라 비선택 비율이 줄어드는 것(선택 비율이 증가하는 것)을 알 수 있었다. 특히 선택대안의 수가 선택여부에 미치는 영향은 지배적 대안이 없을 때보다는 있을 때 더 높게 나타났다. 그리고 대안의 수와 함께 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도가 선택여부에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지배적 대안이 있을 경우에는 친숙도가 선택여부에 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 지배적 대안이 있을 경우에는 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도는 자체적으로는 선택여부에 영향을 미치지 않고, 대안의 수와 상호작용을 통해 선택여부에 영향를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 실무적 시사점과 연구의 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.

시리얼제품의 표시유형별 선호와 영양표시 제품의 구매의도 (Consumer Preference for the Types of Labels of Cereal Products and Purchase Intention of Nutrition-labeled Products)

  • The purposes of this study were to explore consumer preference for the types of nutrition label of cereal products and to identify some influencing factors on purchase intention and choice probability of nutrition-labeled products. First, most of the respondents preferred the nutrition fact panel with traffic light-GDA(TL-GDA), while the nutrition fact panel only type and the nutrition fact panel with front-of-package(FOP) type were preferred by few respondents. However, consumers evaluated higher for TL-GDA type and FOP symbol type, while the nutrition fact panel only type was evaluated much lower. Second, consumer preference for label types was partially related with 'eating breakfast' and consumer evaluations of the types of labels for the nutrition fact panel only and the nutrition fact panel with FOP were found to be significantly different by gender. Lastly, both purchase intention and choice probability for nutrition-labeled products were found to be significantly influenced by information search and product attitude. In addition, choice probability was found to be significantly influenced by individual characteristics such as gender and grade. It is necessary to find the relationship between nutrition labels and consumer response as this can help consumers make a better choice of food as well as providing some useful information on consumers to the related parties such as companies and consumer organizations.

  • 본 연구는 노인장기요양서비스 이용만족도에 영향을 미치는 시장특성 요인을 파악하고자 노인장기요양기관 이용자 246명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 유형성에는 경쟁성, 행정규제, 과정의 체계성, 선택의 자율성이 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 신뢰성에는 주택소유, 경쟁성, 행정규제, 선택의 자율성이 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 대응성에는 기관규모, 월용돈, 경쟁성, 행정규제, 과정의 체계성, 선택의 자율성이 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 넷째, 보증성에는 월용돈, 경쟁성, 행정규제, 과정의 체계성, 선택의 자율성이 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 다섯째, 공감성에는 경쟁성, 행정규제, 합리문화, 과정의 체계성, 선택의 자율성이 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다.

오픈소스 하드웨어를 이용한 유아의 자유선택활동 관찰시스템의 설계 및 개발 연구 (The Study on the Design and Development of Childre's free choice activities Monitoring System Based on Open Source Hardware)

  • 정보통신기술의 발전으로 교육분야에서도 시간, 장소 및 기기의 제약없이 학습이 가능한 스마트 교육이 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 주로 콘텐츠 기반의 교육 솔루션들이 제공되고 있고 학습자의 개별 특성을 파악하여 개별화된 학습을 제공하는 시스템 구축은 상대적으로 저조하다. 유아교육에서 자유선택활동은 중요한 놀이 활동이지만 교사들의 임상적 관찰에 의존함으로써 효율적으로 시행되지 못하고 있다. 최근 대두되고 있는 초연결성에 기반을 둔 사물인터넷 기술을 자유선택활동에 적용한다면 객관적이고 정형화된 데이터를 축적할 수 있고 이러한 데이터는 유아들의 개별화된 활동 유형과 놀이 형태 분석에 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 오픈소스 하드웨어 기반으로 사물인터넷 환경을 구축하여 유아들의 자유선택활동을 관찰하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 제안된 시스템은 유아들의 활동정보를 축적하여 분석 자료로 제공함으로써 교사들의 업무 경감과 개별 유아들에 대한 맞춤 교육 자료로 활용될 것이다.
