ASP(Application Service Provider) 사용 기업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 공급사 특성에 관한 연구 (ASP Vendor Attributes that Affect ASP Client Satisfaction)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to investigate ASP (Application Service Provider) vendor attributes that affect ASP client satisfaction. From the relevant literature, ASP vendor attributes that might affect the ASP client satisfaction were derived from which the survey questions were formulated. The survey was conducted among the companies that have adopted ASP. Through the factor analysis of the survey results, the following vendor attributes - vendor's IT infra structure, service reliability, service flexibility, vendor stability, IS maturity, information sharing - were derived ; and the relationships between those attributes and ASP client satisfaction were explored. The result of this study revealed that IT infra, service flexibility, vendor stability are related to ASP client satisfaction. The customer satisfaction factors in the traditional outsourcing -- reliability, IS maturity, information sharing were proved to be not applied in ASP environment. This study provides ASP vendors with guidelines on how to improve their ASP strategies to satisfy clients. The results of this study can also be used by client companies as a decision basis for ASP vendor selection.

  • Real-world objects often have two or more significant attributes. For example, face images have attributes of persons, expressions, and so on. Even if we are interested in only one of those attributes, additional informations on auxiliary attributes can help recognition of the main one. In the present paper, the authors propose a method for pattern recognition with double attributes. A pair of classifiers are combined: each classifier makes a guess of its corresponding attribute, and it tells the guess to the other as a hint. Equilibrium point of this iteration can be calculated directly without iterative procedures.

Meeting Real Challenges in Eliciting Security Attributes for Mobile Application Development

  • There has been a rapid growth in the development of mobile application resulting from its wide usage for online transaction, data storage and exchange of information. However, an important issue that has been overlooked is the lack of emphasis on the security issues at the early stage of the development. In fact, security issues have been kept until the later stage of the implementation of mobile apps. Requirements engineers frequently ignore and incorrectly elicit security related requirements at the early stage of mobile application development. This scenario has led to the failure of developing secure and safe mobile application based on the needs of the users. As such, this paper intends to provide further understanding of the real challenges in extracting security attributes for mobile application faced by novice requirements engineers. For this purpose, two experiments on eliciting security attributes requirements of textual requirements scenario were conducted. The performance related to the correctness and time taken to elicit the security attributes were measured and recorded. It was found that the process of eliciting correct security attributes for mobile application requires effort, knowledge and skills. The findings indicate that an automated tool for correct elicitation security attributes requirement could help to overcome the challenges in eliciting security attributes requirements, especially among novice requirements engineers.

신도시 여성 소비자의 의류상점 선택행동에 관한 연구 (Apparel Store Patronage Behavior of Female Consumers in Satellite Cities)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the models of apparel store patronage behavior of various store types for each of two clothing categories in terms of lifestyle activities, information sources, shopping orientations and store attributes. The data were collected via a questionnaire from 326 adult females of ages over 20's living in satellite cities around Seoul and were analyzed by factor analysis, Multiple Regression analysis and path analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) There were significant relationships between lifestyle activities, information sources, shopping orientations and store attributes in both of formal wear and casual wear purchase. 2) Patronage behavior of department store in formal wear purchase was influenced by shopping activities, personal information sources, brand/store loyalty orientation. Regional store preference and store image attributes influenced the franchise store patronage behavior in formal wear purchase. Discount store patronage behavior in formal wear purchase was predicted by self-assurance/innovativeness and store image and service attributes. Information search of printed material/TV and store image and service attributes influenced off-price store patronage behavior for formal wear, while shopping activities and department store preference influenced off-price store patronage for casual wear. Traditional market patronage behavior for formal were was influenced only by brand/store loyalty, while traditional market patronage behavior for casual wear was influenced by sports activities, brand/store loyalty and price attributes.

  • Information technology is changing the business value chain and business systems. This situation is due to the business value chain and the value creation factors in business. Technology companies and researchers are developing new businesses, but many companies and researchers cannot find successful ways to analyze and develop a business in a specific way. In this paper, the following will be explored. First, the value creation motive in business is analyzed through a literary review. Second, business attributes are analyzed while considering the value creation motive and business factors in management. Finally, the business attributes of information technology are studied through a review of previous research that has been conducted on this topic.

Enhanced resource scheduling in Grid considering overload of different attributes

  • Most of scheduling methods in the Grid only consider one special attribute of the resource or one aspect of QoS (Quality of Service) of the job. In this paper, we focus on the problem that how to consider two aspects simultaneously. Based on the requirements of the jobs and the attributes of the resources, jobs are categorized into three kinds: CPU-overload, memory-overload, and bandwidth-overload jobs. One job may belong to different kinds according to different attributes. We schedule the jobs in different categories in different orders, and then propose a scheduling method-MTS (multiple attributes scheduling method) to schedule Grid resources. Based on the comparisons between our method, Min-min, ASJS (Adaptive Scoring Job Scheduling), and MRS (Multi-dimensional Scheduling) show: (1) MTS reduces the execution time more than 15% to other methods, (2) MTS improves the number of the finished jobs before the deadlines of the jobs, and (3) MTS enhances the file size of transmitted files (input files and output files) and improves the number of the instructions of the finished jobs.

리뷰어의 속성이 온라인 리뷰 유용성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Reviewer's Attributes on the Usefulness of Online Review)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of reviewer's attributes on review usefulness while exploring the variables that can moderate the relationship between reviewer's attributes and review usefulness through empirical analysis. Design/methodology/approach To understand the impact of online reviewer profiles on review usefulness and how these impacts change, this study collected more than 30,000 online reviews of restaurants through TripAdvisor.com, that is a representative OTA shares tourism information. We analyze the moderating effects of four variables such as review length, review equivocality, review uncertainty, and review readability. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, this study reveals that the reviewer's profile attribute can significantly improve the review usefulness of the reviewer, and confirmed the moderating effect of the review's attribute(Review length, Equivocality, Uncertainty, Readability).

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '정보의 즉각적 인지가 가능하면서 미적 문화적 특수성을 내재'하고 있는 STA(Short-term Attractive) 정보의 인지적 특성을 파악하고 그에 맞는 시각화 속성과 표현 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 정보디자인과 인지심리학을 바탕으로 STA 정보의 인지적 특성을 도출하고, 정보의 노출빈도와 인지도 관계에 따른 정보 속성에 관한 선행연구를 토대로 STA 정보의 시각화 속성 네 가지를 도출하였다. 정보 인지적 측면에서 STA 정보의 주요 시각화 속성인 '이해 할만한(Understandable)', '간결성(Conciseness)'에 대한 주요 표현 방법으로 은유, 환유, Indexical Image와 Context의 활용, 수사학, 기억보조장치(Mnemonic Device)를 제안하였다. 정보의 감성적 지각 측면에서는 주요 시각화 속성인 '타당성(Relevance)', '가치 있는(Valuable)'에 대한 주요 표현 방법으로 익살, 패러디, 특수성, 친근감, 키치, 조형적 아름다움, 새로움을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 향후 표현 방법들과 정보 적용 환경에 따른 인지도 관계 분석을 진행하고자 한다.

The Effect of Choice Attributes of Internet primary bank on Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention

  • In recent years, interest in internet primary bank has increased in South Korea, and marketing strategies for the success of the bank are needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of bank choice attributes on satisfaction and behavioral intention of Internet primary bank users. A convenience sampling was used and a structural equation of AMOS 20.0 was used for hypothesis testing. The results of the study are as follows. First, information, transaction, and communication of the choice attributes have positive effects on satisfaction. Second, information, transaction, and communication of the choice attributes have positive effects on behavioral intention. Third, satisfaction has a positive effect on behavioral intention. The theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the research are presented in the conclusion.

데이터기반 의사결정을 위한 정책 및 사업 속성 분류체계 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Policy Attributes Taxonomy for Data-based Decision Making)

  • Purpose Due to the complexity of policy environment in modern society, it is accepted as common basics of policy design to mix up a variety of policy instruments aiming the multiple functions. However, under the current situation of written-down policy specification, not only the public officers but also the policy researchers cannot easily grasp such frameworks as policy portfolio. The purpose of this study is to develop "Policy Attributes Taxonomy" identifying and classifying the public programs to help making decisions for allocative efficiency with effectiveness-based information. Design/methodology/approach To figure out the main scheme and classification criteria of Policy Attributes Taxonomy which represents characteristics of public policies, previous theories and researches on policy components were explored. In addition, to test taxonomic feasibility of certain information system, a set of "Feasibility Standards" was drawn from "requirements for well-organized criteria" of eminent taxonomy literatures. Finally, current government classification system in the area of social service was tested to visualize the application of Taxonomy and Standards. Findings Program Taxonomy Schemes were set including "policy goals", "policy targets", "policy tools", "logical relation" and "delivery system". Each program and project could be condensed into these attributes, making their design more easily distinguishable. Policy portfolio could be readily made out by extracting certain characteristics according to this scheme. Moreover, this taxonomy could be used for rearrangement of present "Program Budget System" or estimation of "Basic Income".
