Accurate simulation of free-surface wave flows around a ship is very important for better hull-form design. In this paper, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, termed SNUFOAM, which is based on the open source libraries, OpenFOAM, was developed to predict the wave patterns around a ship. Additional anti-diffusion source term for minimizing a numerical diffusion, which was caused by convection differencing scheme, was considered in the volume-fraction transport equation. The influence of the anti-diffusion source term was tested by applying it to free-surface wave flow around the Wigley model ship. In results, the band width of the volume fraction contours between 0.1 to 0.9 at the hull surface was narrowed by considering the anti-diffusion term.

This study is about user satisfaction of the Junior College Library based on its characteristics of space composition. For this, we studied characteristics of space composition targeting the libraries in colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. First, in case of study of characteristics of space composition for books and library data, student satisfaction for traditional and normal library areas was high. It means that the service based on library areas should start from normal library areas as well as there is a change about space as the type of data in libraries change to electric data and multimedia. Second, If we look at the space for a reader and a user, satisfaction for a normal reading room was high. we can also see that satisfaction for a computer room and a multimedia reading room was not higher but still high. Also, the reason why satisfaction for a multimedia reading room that provides various activities was high was that the complex of a library space is needed to provide users with various activities. Third, in case of space for programme function and meeting, satisfaction for the room of video information and the group study room was high. we can see that user satisfaction for the space got high basically when a user is satisfied with the proper information technology based on interaction Fourth, as a result of variance analysis of 3 spaces of Junior College Library and the services, the size of the space of service does not influence user satisfaction directly. Even the space is small, if it decorates variously like with a lighting for a user, a window seat to meet the nature of users and has specific factors such as space reservation using internet, user satisfaction is high. If we summarise the result of this study, to make user satisfaction for speace in a Junior College Library higher, not just we need to try to make it extend as a educational, a cultural place but we also need to accept the student's requirement that the space also needs to be extend as a complex cultural space.

본 연구는 정보 이용자와 참고사서 사이에서 일어나는 질의응답 내용을 분석하여 이용자의 정보만족 정도를 규명하고자 하였다. 이용자 질의에 대한 사서의 응답이 얼마나 정확한가에 대한 정보 만족도를 측정하고, 만족도에 영향을 미치는 저해 요인을 규명하며, 만족도와 저해 요인의 측정을 위한 변인들간의 영향력과 상관관계를 분석함으로써 봉사내용의 질 과 응답의 정확성을 높일 수 있는 개선방안을 모색하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관 사서의 전문성이 이용자의 도서관 경험과 그로 인한 도서관 인식을 어떻게 매개하는지 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 이론적 배경과 선행연구를 고찰한 후, 서울 및 경기지역의 공공도서관 6곳을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 문화 및 교육 활동은 사서 전문성 인식을 매개로 도서관 가치 및 만족도 인식에 영향을 미쳤다. 반면, 정보 활동은 유일하게 사서 전문성을 매개하지 않고 직접 도서관 인식에 영향을 미쳤다. 이에 따라 이용자가 도서관의 가치를 형성하는 영역과 사서의 전문성을 인식하는 영역이 일치하지 않는 점에 문제를 제기하고 시사점을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 전통적으로 사서직 내부적 특성으로 여겨진 사서의 전문성을 외부에서 바라봄으로써, 이용자의 서비스 경험과 사서 전문성, 도서관 성과를 통합하였다는 의의를 지닌다.

이 연구는 지식정보사회에서 정보기술의 발전과 인터넷의 확산에 따라서 교육 패러다임 자체를 변환시키고 있는 웹기반 교육이 정보활용능력 교육 분야에서 연구가 활성화되어야 함은 물론, 정보사회의 생존기술로 대두되고 있는 정보활용능력이 대학도서관의 교육영역으로 개발 및 운영되어져야 함에 연구의 필요성을 두었다. 이에 정보기술수용모형 이론의 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성, 수용의도, 웹 기반 교육의 연결성, 반응성, 도서관 조직의 직무관련성, 지원, 정보활용능력 교육의 ACRL 기준 영역, 효과성 등을 주요변수로 도출하여 이론적 연구모형을 개발하였다. 이 이론적 연구모형을 바탕으로 실증적 연구를 수행하여 대학도서관의 웹 기반 정보활용능력 교육 수용의 영향 요인을 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 대학 도서관들이 이용자들에게 제공하는 여러 가지 기능들을 조사하고 그 가치를 측정하였다. 이용자들의 판단을 중시하는 연구의 수행을 위해 구체적인 대학 도서관의 이용요인이나 기능이 될 수 있는 상황이나 조건들은 이용자들이 직접 설정하고 그 중요도 평가를 설문조사방법으로 수집하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 크게 세 단계로 나누어 시행하였다. 첫째, 측정변수들의 관련성 및 독특성, 그리고 통계적 중요도에 따른 요인을 영역별로 나누기 위해 요인분석을 실시하였다. 둘째, 연구모형을 도출하기 위해 이분 로지스틱 회귀분석(binary logistic regression)을 실시하여 판별력 향상을 검정하였다. 세 번째 분석에서는 연구모형의 독립변수들에 대해 집단간 평균차이 분석을 실시하여 집단별 변수값 등 부가적인 설명을 하였다. 분석결과, 이용자들이 대학 도서관을 활용하는 목적 뿐만 아니라 이용자들에게 끼치는 지식이나 정보 그리고 도서관 시설들을 설명하는 데에는 도서요인, 경쟁 및 효율요인, 그리고 지불(무료)요인 등이 있음이 밝혀졌다. 또한 본 연구에서는 전자도서관 기능과 지불요인과의 상관성도 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다.

For decades, general services and accounting officers have been dominant forces in collection development activities in college and university libraries in Korea. The role of certified librarians has been rather peripheral. This has been allowed by the fact that library acquisitions departments had to be headed by non-librarian general administrative officers by the government regulation. The philosophy behind this regulation was that acquiring library materials was not any different from simple purchasing act of other useful goods in the marketplace. In affiliation with the element of general administrative officers, domestic book-sellers also had a great influence in collection building activities in college and university libraries in Korea. This has been made possible by the fact that no other people could su n.0, pply library materials, especially foreign library materials. It has been pointed out for years that the mechanism in which general administrative officers and domestic book-sellers had a greater say in library acquisitions activities was especially inefficient in acquiring wanted materials in wanted speed and in wanted price. In this mechanism, books and periodicals were mere goods. They were not perceived as intellectual property holding information and knowledge in them. Since the student movement to revolutionize the library system of the Pusan National University, September 1987 to December 1988, the creative and progressive elements in this university library have been making great efforts to change the acquisitions system in this library into a more efficient one by putting certified librarians at the center of the whole acquisitions process. These efforts have been successful to a certain degree. In this discursive study of the case of the Pusan National University Library, I have tried to achieve a social description of the library process in which progressively motivated librarians succeeded in alienating administrative officers and book-sellers and in grasping in their hands the hegemony in the collection building aspect of library activities. It has been discovered that this was possible only when the librarians were mature enough to have their kind of professionalism, i.e., professional ethics and craftsmanship.

본 연구는 학교도서관 활성화 사업 3년간의 추진 실적을 조사하여 그 효과를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교도서관 현황조사, 학교도서관 인식조사, 집단면담이 사용되었다. 연구는 앞으로 학교도서관이 학생들의 학업능력 향상에 영향을 미치기 위해서 필요하다고 보이는 4가지 요인, 즉 학교도서관 운영시간 프로그램, 장서, 이용률을 선정하여 조사, 분석하였다. 연구 결과 학교도서관 설치 혹은 리모델링으로 인하여 이용자들의 학교도서관 활용도 및 중요성에 대한 인식이 많이 향상되었으며 이는 우리나라 학교도서관이 미국의 학교도서관 연구에서 나타난 바와 같이 학생들의 학업능력 향상에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 결과로 발전해 갈 수 있다는 가능성을 보여주었다. 하지만 도서관장서와 전담 전문인력은 아직 매우 부족한 것으로 나타나고 있어서 이에 대한 더 많은 연구가 필요한 것으로 보인다.

본 연구의 목적은 아동 청소년에 대한 교육 정보 서비스가 증가하고 있는 공공도서관 사서의 자아상을 의미 변별법을 활용하여 측정하고 일반적인 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 분석 결과 공공도서관 사서들은 자신의 일에 보람을 느끼고 있으며 친절함, 공평함, 상냥함을 지녔다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자신의 역할이 영향력이 없고 무시당하고 있으며, 초라하고 답답하다는 부정적인 자아상도 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 공공도서관 사서들은 자신의 능력과 자질 그리고 활동에 대해서는 긍정적인 자아상을 가지고 있지만, 사서직의 역할에 대한 사회적 공감대와 긍정적인 평가에 대해서는 부정적인 자아상을 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 공공도서관 사서에 대한 고정관념을 극복하고 사서직에 대한 평가와 역할에 대한 긍정적인 자아상을 형성하기 위해서는 아동 청소년의 접근성 향상을 위한 도서관의 물리적 환경 구축 및 프로그램 운영, 선배 사서들의 리더십 발휘, 도서관과 사서직의 새로운 가치와 역할에 대한 홍보 그리고 교수자로서의 자질 함양을 위한 사서 재교육 활성화 등이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

본 연구는 서울특별시 J구 구립도서관을 중심으로 '한 도서관 한 책 읽기' 프로그램의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 서비스 품질 요인(프로그램 도서 및 내용, 프로그램 작가 및 인력, 프로그램 서비스 지원, 프로그램 시설 및 환경)과 만족도가 이용의도에 미치는 영향 관계를 통계적으로 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과 첫째, 프로그램 만족도에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 서비스 품질 요인에는 프로그램의 도서 및 내용과 프로그램의 작가 및 인력으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 프로그램의 만족도는 이용의도에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 향후 국내 공공도서관에서 실시될 '한 도서관 한 책 읽기' 프로그램 서비스의 질을 제고시키는데 유용한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
