A user influence discrimination scheme using big data from social networks is needed. In this thesis, we propose a user influence discrimination scheme considering reliability in social networks. The proposed scheme measures reliability scores through social activities and simplifies a social network by collecting only reliable users. It also derives user influence by considering direct and indirect influences that depends on network degree between users. As a result, the proposed scheme improves the expandability of the user influence. In order to show the superiority of the proposed scheme, we compare it with the existing scheme through performance evaluations in terms of reliability and user influence.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of discrimination abuser experiences and discrimination victim experiences on the human rights consciousness of children in community children, In order to understand the role of self-esteem as a mediating role between these two variables, And to find practical and policy implications. For this purpose, we selected 662 elementary school sixth graders who participated in the second panel of the community children's center, the third year (2016), as the sample and used the structural equation model validation method. As a result of this study: First, the experience of discrimination abuser against children in the community children's center has negative effects on self - esteem. Second, the self-esteem of children in the community children's center showed a statistically significant effect on human rights consciousness. Third, the experiences of child discrimination abuse and discrimination of local children's centers showed significant influence on children's consciousness of human rights through self - esteem. In conclusion, we proposed practical use measures to promote positive emotional development and human rights consciousness of children in community children's centers.

This study aims to highlight the social aspects of genetic discrimination as another shadow that biotechnology can influence on social life. To do so, the definition of "genetic discrimination" and three perspectives (exceptionalism, expressivism, and human right discourse) were reviewed. In addition, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) of the United States and the Bioethics and Safety Act of Korea were analyzed. Several social implications for establishing the research and policies of genetic discrimination based on the existing research results of perceived genetic discrimination (the experiences, fears, and coping strategies of genetic discrimination) were suggested. These included public consensus on the definition of genetic discrimination and emphasis on a human rights approach against genetic discrimination; concerns regarding genetic discrimination in both the personal and public domains; raising the consciousness of both health care providers and the public regarding genetic discrimination; and developing psycho-social coping strategies for decreasing the fear of discrimination of asymptomatic people (hereditary carriers).

Career development of Korean Immigrant Adolescents is important element for their Korea social adjustment and reduction of social exclusion. Especially, vocational identity is considered significantly for their career development. This study investigated the relationships and levels of discrimination, depression, self-esteem on vocational identity by comparing Korean immigrant adolescents and non-Immigrant adolescents(Korean parents family: non poor family or poor family). The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the depression level of immigrant adolescents is higher than non poor family adolescents and their self-esteem level is lower than non poor family adolescents by means analysis. second, The path analysis and multi group analysis showed that the degree of discrimination by perceived immigrant adolescents had direct influence on vocational identity and also mediated depression, self-esteem as indirect influence. But non poor family adolescents and poor family adolescents showed that their degree of discrimination had only indirect influence on vocational identity as mediation of depression, self-esteem. The result of analysis were used to discuss theoretical, practical implication for career development of Korea immigrant adolescents.

This study was conducted to identify the influence of the discrimination experienced in daily life and social isolation on depression among older adults living in the community. This study was a secondary analysis of the data of 2017 Living Profiles of Older Adults Survey. The participants was a representative sample among the older adults 65 years and older. Data from 10,041 older adults were analyzed for this study. Hierarchical logistic regression analyses were used. When the discrimination experiences was added in model 1, the likelihood of being depressed was 1.95(1.60-2.36) times higher for those who experienced discrimination comparing with those who didn't experienced discrimination. When the social isolation was added in model 2, the likelihood of being depressed was 1.89(1.55-2.30) times higher in those who experienced discrimination. In addition, as the number of close friends, neighbors, and acquaintances decreased by one, the likelihood of being depressed increased by 1.14 times. Those who were isolated from family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances were 3.90 times more likely to be depressed. Therefore, social efforts are needed to reduce the experience of discrimination. Maintaining a social network or creating a new network will contribute to lowering the level of depression in older adults who have experienced discrimination.

The purpose of this study is to classify the degree of change of job discrimination of the disabled according to time and to identify factors affecting life satisfaction according to each type. For this study, data from the 3rd to 8th year of the employment panel for the disabled were used and 1,227 data were used. The longitudinal profile of the disabled person's discrimination was classified through latent profile growth analysis(LPGA), and then influential factors were verified through binomial logistic regression analysis. First, the types of change of the job discrimination of the disabled were represented as the decrease group and the increase group. The factors influencing the job discrimination were the degree of disability, chronic diseases, gross income, and life satisfaction. Second, the factors of predicting the life satisfaction according to the types of job discrimination of the disabled are as follows: job discrimination, decrease and increase group have higher life satisfaction as the self - esteem and socioeconomic status are higher. Based on these results, this study suggested the implications of this study to cope with the discrimination of the workplace with the disabled.

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the multiple mediating effect of mental health, which is composed of depression, disability acceptance, social-economic position, life satisfaction, on the relationship between disability discrimination and job satisfaction against wage earners with disabilities. A data of 992 wage earners with disabilities which derived from the fourth wave panel data provided at Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were utilized. SPSS 20.0 and SPSS Indirect macro was conducted, and the results were verified by SPSS 20.0 and SPSS Indirect macro. The results were as follows : (1) Depression influenced between disability discrimination and job satisfaction directly or indirectly. (2) Disability acceptance mediated between disability discrimination and job satisfaction. (3) Social-economic position mediated between disability discrimination and job satisfaction. (4) Life satisfaction mediated between disability discrimination and job satisfaction. Based on the results, Based on the results, it suggested some methods of ascent of job satisfaction for wage earners with disabilities.

The objective of this study is to understand the influence of discrimination experience on life satisfaction of the employed hearing-impaired, and also to verify the mediating effects of self-esteem on relations between discrimination experience and life satisfaction. To achieve this objective, the data of the 8th Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled was used, and then the extracted data of 234 employed hearing-impaired persons was used for analysis. The results of this study are like below. First, discrimination experience showed negative(-) relations with self-esteem and life satisfaction while self-esteem showed positive(+) relations with life satisfaction. Second, when the perception of discrimination experience was low, the life satisfaction was high. Third, the mediating effects of self-esteem were verified on relations between discrimination experience and life satisfaction. Marital status, health, social-economical position has effected on life satisfaction. Based on such results of the study, suggestions were made to increase life satisfaction of the hearing-impaired.

The most important requirement for the controller of a prosthetic arm is that it has a high fidelity discriminator where the motion control may be performed open loop using EMG signals as a control source. Therefore, it is very effective method to reduce the influence of misclassification of classifier for the total system performance. This paper presents the new function discrimination method which combines MLP classifier and frizzy filter by stages for the requirement. The major advantage of MLP is a consistent learning capability for the easy adaptation to environments. The fuzzy filter uses all informations of MLP outputs and prior EMG activity informations which increase as the experience increases. That property is superior to one which uses maximum output of MLP in view of information amounts and quality. Simulation result shows that proposed method is superior to the probabilistic model, MLP model and the combined model of both in the respect of discrimination quaity.

We investigate the influence of observations on a test of additional information about discrimination using the influence function and the derivative influence measures. the influence function for the test statistic is derived and this sample versions are used for influence analysis. The derivative influence measures for the test statistic under a perturbation scheme are derived. It will be seen that the influence function method and the derivative influence measures yield the same result. Furthermore, we will derive the relationships between the influence function and the derivative influence measures when the sample size is large. an illustrative example is given and we will compare the results provided by the influence function method and the derivative influence measures.
