공급사슬 관점에서 기업 위험의 계량적 추정 (Quantitative Estimation of Firm's Risk from Supply Chain Perspective)

  • In this paper, we report computational testing result to examine the validity of firm's bankruptcy risk estimation through quantification of supply chain risk. Supply chain risk in this study refers to upstream supply risk and downstream demand risk, To assess the firm's risk affected by supply chain risk, we adopt unit of analysis as industry level. since supply and demand relationships of the firm could be generalized by the industry input-output table and the availability of various valid economic indicators which are chronologically calculated. The research model to estimate firm's risk level is the linear regression model to assess the industry bankruptcy risk estimation of the focal firm's industry with the independent variables which could quantitatively reflect demand and supply risk of the industry. The publicly announced macro economic indicators are selected as the candidate independent variables and validated through empirical testing. To validate our approach, in this paper, we confined our research scope to steel industry sector and its related industry sectors, and implemented the research model. The empirical testing results provide useful insights to further refine the research model as the valid forecasting mechanism to capture firm's future risk estimation more accurately by adopting supply chain industry risk aspect, in conjunction with firm's financial and other managerial factors.

신.재생에너지 인력수요전망 방법론 및 사례 연구 (Methods to Predict Demand for Workforce in New & Renewable Energy Industry)

  • Prediction of demand for workforce in new and renewable energy is precondition for sustainable growth of an industry. The purpose of this research is to review prediction methods and case studies of workforce in new and renewable energy industry. This research compares the three methods in the focused on possibility of applying in renewable energy industry; survey, input-output and labor function estimation methods. Also, three cases are reviewed in the focused on applied method; Korea, America and Australia. As a result, the survey method was wildly used in the new and renewable industry. Also the improvement rates of work force are difference depending on the methodology. This result can be applied to set up the policy of human resource development of renewable energy.

산업용지 수요예측 및 산업단지 입지선정에 관한 연구 - 안성시를 사례로 - (A Study on the Forecast of Industrial Land Demand and the Location Decision of Industrial Complexes - In Case of Anseong City)

  • This study aims to build a model dealing with the location decision of new manufacturing firms and their land demand. The model is composed with 1) the binary logit model structure identifying a future probability of manufacturing firms to locate in a city and their land demand; and 2) the land use suitability of the land demand. The model was empirically tested in the case of Anseong City. We used establishment-level data for the manufacturing industry from the Report on Mining and Manufacturing Survey. 48 industry groups were scrutinized to find the location probability in the city and their land demand via logit model with the dependent variables: number of employment, land capital, building capital, total products, and value-added for a new industry since 2001. It is forecasted that the future land areas (to 2025) for the manufacturing industries in the city are $5.94km^2$ and additional land demand for clustering the existing industries scattered over the city is $2.lkm^2$. Five industrial complex locations were identified through the land use suitability analysis.

  • The company was focusing on production which was partial mission rather than acquiring the information of customer in intensive process industry. The company accepted loss which is from over-production, losing of opportunity. After changing to Web environment, supply chain is more complicated and need of customer is more various. As a result the company hard works on controlling production rates, production quantities in production area and gathering exact information which is about available resource and available quantities. Cooperated demand planning have to get decreasing of inventory, improving of customer service in supply chain management. Specially demand planning that considers allocation of capacity is executed in Iron-Industry. Demand planning must be classified by customer, region and supply position level.

The Flexible Application of Real Options for Subcontractor in the Soft Drink Manufacturing Industry

  • In the soft drink industry, especially small and medium enterprises in Japan, there is a possibility of conversion from a labor-intensive industry to a capital-intensive. The demand for soft drinks may not be satisfied in the summer because the supply is too low to meet the demand. To address this situation, this paper proposes optimal investment that integrates demand uncertainty, based on real options approach (ROA) and seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average. Two alternative options are compared and evaluated. One is the Bermudan option: to employ additional workers to elevate efficiency in summer and laying off in winter, this attitude is repeated each year. The other is the American option: to replace equipment to increase machine ability throughout the year. Results in ROA show that the highest improvement is gained if the two options are in a symbiotic relationship. Soft drink producers should search for replacing equipment, using the employees repeatedly. A temporary decision is not equal to an infinite decision.

  • As the uncertainty of demand in B2B electronics market has increased, firms need a strong method to estimate the market demand. An accurate prediction on the market demand is crucial for a firm not to overproduce or underproduce its goods, which would influence the performance of the firm. However, it is complicated to estimate the demand in a B2B market, particularly for the private sector, because firms are very diverse in terms of size, industry, and types of business. This study proposes both qualitative and quantitative demand forecasting approaches for B2B PC products. Four different measures for predicting PC products in B2B market with consideration of the different PC uses-personal work, common work, promotion, and welfare-are developed as the qualitative model's input variables. These measures are verified by survey data collected from experts in 139 firms, and can be applied when individual firms estimate the demand of PC goods in a B2B market. As the quantitative approach, the multiple regression model is proposed and it includes variables of region, type of industry, and size of the firm. The regression model can be applied when the aggregated demand for overall domestic PC market needs to be estimated.

After development, According to the Demand Control, An electricity enterprisers will expect enlargement of equipment coefficient, elevation of back up load factor and reduction effect of equipment investment. On Customer side, They will expect reduction of electric fee, saving energy and variety of service choice.

서비스 R&D 수요분석 연구 (A Study on Service R&D Needs Analysis in Korea)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop a service R&D concept definition and finding service R&D demand in Korea. It is necessary to develop an effective service R&D model to improve the competitiveness of the service industry. A survey model for finding service R&D demands has been developed through extensive discussions with experts. A demand survey for 91 experts in service industry and academia has been conducted to find relative weights of each service R&D category. Several other aspects on service R&D has beed investigated to analyze the relative importance of service R&D subjects. And a benchmarking on previous service R&D research investment has been performed. Past and present service R&D topics are compared as a whole and by each individual domain. A service R&D framework and important funding areas has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for research fund allocation decisions for strengthening service industry competitiveness.

  • 이 연구는 지역 기반 산업의 인력 수요와 SWOT 분석을 통한 특성화 고등학교 개편에 관한 사례연구로서 경기 지역의 주요 기반 산업인 전기 전자 통신 산업의 인력 수요 분석과 SWOT 기법에 의한 학교현황 분석을 통하여 중등직업교육기관으로서의 특성화고등학교의 본래 기능인 취업률 향상을 위한 학교 개편 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수원${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$여자고등학교는 전기 전자 통신관련 산업체가 밀집되어 있는 경기지역에 위치하고 있어, 관련 산업분야로의 취업에 유리한 입지 조건을 갖추고 있으므로, 지역에서 요구하는 산업 인력을 양성하는 육성 전략이 필요하다. 둘째, 지역 산업의 요구에 부응하는 인력 양성을 위한 특성화고등학교 운영체제를 유지하면서, 전기 전자 통신 산업의 흐름에 맞는 교육과정 개발 방향을 다음과 같이 두 가지로 생각해 볼 수 있다. 하나는 기업과 공조하여 기업에서 요구하는 능력에 맞춤형으로 교육함으로써 취업이 보장되는 '기업 연계 맞춤형' 교육과정으로의 개편이다. 현실적으로 기업과 연계하는 것이 용이하지 않고, 불안정한 경제 속에서 위험부담이 있다는 단점이 있으나, 교육과정 운영이 특정 기업에 얽매이거나 왜곡되지 않으면서 장기적인 안목을 갖고 기업과 공조하여 취업률을 높일 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 다른 하나는 '산업 연계 맞춤형' 교육과정으로의 개편이다. 이는 특정 기업에 초점을 맞추는 '기업 연계 맞춤형' 보다 선택의 폭이 넓고, 취업의 기회가 다양화되므로 안정적인 인력 수요 공급이 가능하며, 특화된 기술 수준의 교육과정을 지속적으로 유지할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

외국인 고용허가제 도입에 따른 효율적 노동인력 수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Work Force Supply-Demand According to the Employment Permit System for Foreigners)

  • The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.
