누가 '산업체 수요 조사'를 수요하는가? : 추격형 수요기반 공학교육의 역설 (Who demands the Survey of Industry Demand?: Paradox of Demand-Based Engineering Education Under Catch-up Paradigm)

  • In Korea, engineering education based on industry demand is highly emphasized; the survey of industry demand or company satisfaction is frequently conducted. Although engineering schools have often attempted and implemented the reform of engineering education, it was found that company satisfaction with college education was always low. In this context, this study aimed to find the cause of the low satisfaction. To this end, the social background for the active survey of industry demand and company satisfaction, and its progress were investigated. The findings of this study showed that the survey of industry demand in Korea has limitations in improving the quality of college education or developing its future demand, contrary to its intention. This industry demand based approach has its historical and social root in the Korea-specific model of the catching-up style industry development and technology innovation. Therefore, it is difficult to establish appropriate academy-industry relations and discover future vision based on this model. This study presents a new way to understand and develop the future-oriented industrial and social demand, not just arguing for the uselessness of the survey of industry demand in engineering education.

신.재생에너지 인력수요전망 방법론 및 사례 연구 (Methods to Predict Demand for Workforce in New & Renewable Energy Industry)

  • Prediction of demand for workforce in new and renewable energy is precondition for sustainable growth of an industry. The purpose of this research is to review prediction methods and case studies of workforce in new and renewable energy industry. This research compares the three methods in the focused on possibility of applying in renewable energy industry; survey, input-output and labor function estimation methods. Also, three cases are reviewed in the focused on applied method; Korea, America and Australia. As a result, the survey method was wildly used in the new and renewable industry. Also the improvement rates of work force are difference depending on the methodology. This result can be applied to set up the policy of human resource development of renewable energy.

  • 이러닝 (e-learning)산업통계는 이러닝산업 전반에 걸친 수요와 공급을 망라한 실태조사통계로 2004년 이후 정보통신산업진흥원에 의해 매년 발표되고 있다. 한국표준산업분류가 2008년 개정 (제9차)됨에 따라, 이러닝 수요부문의 사업체조사에 사용해온 표본설계 (종사자규모 산업분류별 층화추출)에 대한 개선이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문은 사업체조사의 목표모집단을 개정된 한국표준산업분류에 따라 종사자규모 산업분류별로 층화하고, 각 층에 부여된 목표변동계수값을 만족시키는 멱배분법의 승수를 모의실험으로 찾아서 층화별로 표본의 크기를 결정하였다. 이와 더불어 본 연구에서 고려한 표본가중치 계산, 그리고 가중치를 반영한 모수추정량과 추정오차는 기존의 조사에서 사용된 기술 통계적 분석을 벗어나 업종별과 종사자 규모별 추정과 추정의 정도에 대한 평가를 가능하게 하였다.

반도체 산업의 국가직무능력표준에 기반한 훈련수요 분석 (Training Demand Analysis based on National Competency Standards of the Semiconductor Industry)

  • 반도체 산업에 대한 국가직무능력표준에 관련한 개발연구는 부분적으로 수행되었으나 국가직무능력표준을 활용한 산업현장의 훈련수요에 대한 조사와 분석은 이뤄지지 못한 실정이다. 또한 기존의 직업훈련 수요연구는 과부족인원 중심으로 수행되어 직무능력요소에 대한 질적 불일치의 문제가 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구는 반도체 산업을 대상으로 훈련수요 조사를 실시하고 직종별 직무기술요소의 상대적 중요도와 격차를 이용한 시급성 분석을 통해서 해당직종이 갖는 직무능력요소에 대한 정성적 분석결과를 제시하고자 한다. 연구 수행방법으로는 문헌연구와 더불어 반도체 산업에 특화된 직무능력요소의 수요조사를 수행하고, 직종과 직무, 그리고 각 직무능력요소의 정성적 수요를 분석하여 6개의 직종과 28개 직무별 직무능력요소에 대해서 인력수준별로 분석하였다. 또한 기업의 직무기술의 확보 방법과 인력의 충원방법을 분석하고 지역의 대표적 교육과정과 연계를 예시함으로써 직업훈련 프로그램의 적정한 공급 방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

재직자교육을 위한 수요조사의 신뢰성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reliability of Demand Survey for Incumbent Training)

  • 직업교육 훈련의 효율과 참여도를 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 신뢰성 높은 수요조사 방법을 찾고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 정확한 수요조사는 훈련의 질을 높일 수 있는 가장 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 부정확한 수요조사에 의한 훈련은 낮은 참여도로 인해 비효율적인 훈련성과를 나타낼 수 밖에 없다. 수요조사는 크게 우편, 전화, 대면, 전자 수요조사 4가지 방법이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 목포대학교 국가인적자원개발 컨소시엄 사업, 지역 산업 맞춤형 인력양성 사업의 훈련을 위해 실시하였던 수요조사를 설명하였고 그 중 효과적인 수요조사 방법을 제안하였다.

서비스 R&D 수요분석 연구 (A Study on Service R&D Needs Analysis in Korea)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop a service R&D concept definition and finding service R&D demand in Korea. It is necessary to develop an effective service R&D model to improve the competitiveness of the service industry. A survey model for finding service R&D demands has been developed through extensive discussions with experts. A demand survey for 91 experts in service industry and academia has been conducted to find relative weights of each service R&D category. Several other aspects on service R&D has beed investigated to analyze the relative importance of service R&D subjects. And a benchmarking on previous service R&D research investment has been performed. Past and present service R&D topics are compared as a whole and by each individual domain. A service R&D framework and important funding areas has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for research fund allocation decisions for strengthening service industry competitiveness.

산업체 및 학습자 수요 간호 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구 : P 대학의 사례 (A Study on Industry and Learner's Demand-Based Curriculum Development on Nursing Education : A Case of P University)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the educational needs of industry which will hire learner and to develop curriculum to meet the demand. Methods. This study was a descriptive research based on survey results. In each questionnaire, the number of responses and ratios were measured to determine the priorities of the questionnaire items and the education demand was evaluated based on these priorities. Results. The core competency keywords for nurses in industry are knowledge, technology, and communication. In the industry needs for curriculum development, the importance of education to be strengthened for nurse training was found to be core basic nursing skills, nursing process application ability, communication ability, creative nursing problem solving ability, personality and foreign language ability. Conclusion. This study has laid the groundwork for the development of competency based curriculum based on environmental factors and reducing the problems of mis - matching between industry and education.

  • In this paper, we survey the current status of measurement labor in Korean Industry. At the same time we try to predit the demand and supply of measurement labor to suggest policy measures for equilibrium in measurement labor market. We use a general production function for the prediction which include a set of general homethetic production function.

교육 수요 조사를 통한 스마트 수산 양식 분야의 융합형 인재 양성 교육 프로그램 개발 방향 설정을 위한 탐색적 연구 (An exploratory study on establishment of a development direction on education training program for cultivating convergence human resources in smart aquaculture through a demand survey)

  • The objective of this study is to develop education programs for cultivating smart aquaculture experts through a education demand survey of industries, high school students, university (graduate) students and field workers. The industry demand analysis was conducted as an in-depth interview on representives from seven companies. Education demand surveys were conducted on 96 students and field workers in the Jeonnam region. Results on the demand survey were analyzed using frequency analysis and cross-analysis. The company representatives responded that they want to participated in internship and retraining programs to proactively secure manpowers with convergence capabilities about smart aquaculture. Seven companies preferred manpowers with basic competencies on ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) or aquaculture. The most respondents in the demand survey want to participate in the education program for experience on advanced technology, self-development and enhancement of work capability. On the other hand, some respondents said that the education is time-consuming and that the education program does not fit their level. Thus, the education program should be developed in a way to minimize the spatial and temporal limitations of education targets and to improve understanding of non-majors by reflecting the demands of human resources in the industrial field.
