  • This study aims to analyze the convergence change of smart city industries in Korea. Industries of Smart city can be defined ICTs and Knowledge embedded construction industry. The input output model and structural path analysis have been done using the input output tables published by Bank of Korea in 1980 and 2014. GDP deflator was applied to the input output tables. 403 industries were reclassified into 27 industries and 8 industries categories: Agriculture and Mining(AM), Non-IT Manufacture(NITM), IT Manufacture(ITM), Energy Supply(EnS), Construction as smart city(C), IT Service(ITS), Knowledge Service(KS), Etc. Service(EtS). The results are as follows; First, the input output coefficient analysis showed that The information and communication service industry(ITS) and the energy supply industry(EnS) have increased input to the construction industry(C). On the other hands, knowledge service industry(KS) and etc. service industries(EtS) decreased. Second, the multiplier analysis revealed that construction industry(C) led by smart city had a great influence on ITS, EnS, ITM and NITM directly and indirectly. Furthermore, The IT industry had the biggest change from 1980 to 2014. Third, the smart city industry has created a new convergence of 117, and it has been leading to segmentation of the structure. Change of convergence has been proceeding mainly in the ITS and EnS, NITM, ITM industries.

  • In early 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, widespread changes occurred throughout society. COVID-19 also brought changes in consumers' consumption behaviors and preferences. This study aims to find out how the current status of the tourism industry and the coffee industry has changed since the end of COVID-19 by conducting big data analysis focusing on the search frequency of Naver, Google, and the following, which are representative social networks in Korea. Designating "Coffee Industry + Tourism Industry" as the representative keyword, January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, the time of each COVID-19 outbreak, was set before the COVID-19 type, and January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 was set after the end of COVID-19. Based on the analyzed search binder big data analysis within the period, we would like to find out how the current status of the tourism industry and the coffee industry has changed since the end of COVID-19. Finaly, the coffee and tourism industries are on the path of recovery and growth. In particular, the rise in coffee consumption, the recovery of the number of tourists, the emphasis on local tourism, and the strengthening of links with global markets are prominent.

  • In this era of convergence, which is characterized by the integration and combination of technology and industries, broadcasting and communications, offline and online, and devices and services, the content industry is also experiencing rapid changes including inter-genre exchange, the creation of new industries, and customized demand. Specifically, IT-based digital content industries such as the online game, e-book, mobile contents and web portal industries are no longer restricted to the boundaries of video, music and games but are being expanded into the realms of education, medicine, fashion and sports thanks to CT innovation of 3D, CG, AR/VR, VFX, etc. As such, various countries have come to recognize the convergent content industry as a new growth engine that will pick up where the IT industry left off, and are forming policies for its development accordingly. This research aims to optimize the system of content taxonomy which is currently genre-focused and unable to support technological development and convergence, and to discover and select star contents to be rigorously developed with governmental support. In this paper, 20 star contents in 8 areas were selected, and these are expected to create tremendous cultural and economic value through ongoing technological and industrial development.

  • This study seeks to measure inter-industry convergence systematically and quantitatively using structural holes theory. ICT industries were classified into ICT manufacturing and ICT service then efficiency and constraints were calculated using input-output tables. The results of the study revealed both ICT industries have very high information and control benefits in the process of industrial convergence, proving to be key industries with competitive advantage. Further implications were presented based on comparative analysis between ICT manufacturing and service and trend analysis over the past 15 years.

  • Big data has recently been used in various industries such as tourism, medical care, distribution, and marketing. And it is evolving to the stage of collecting real-time information or analyzing correlations and predicting the future. In the tourism industry, big data can be used to identify the size and shape of the tourism market, and by building and utilizing a large-capacity database, it is possible to establish an efficient marketing strategy and provide customized tourism services for tourists. This paper has begun with anticipation of the effects that would occur when big data is actively used in the tourism field. Because the method of use must have applicability and practicality, the spatial scope will be limited to Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, and research will be conducted. In this paper, to improve the quality of tourism courses by collecting and analyzing the number of mention data and sentiment index data on social media, which reflect the tourist's interest, preference and satisfaction. Therefore, it is used as basic data necessary for the development of new local tourism courses in the future. In addition, the development of tourism courses will be able to promote tourism growth and also revitalizing the local economy.

  • The development of the 4th industry has increased social media, and the rise of COVID-19 has stimulated non-face-to-face services. People's consumption patterns are also changing a lot due to non-face-to-face services. In this paper, food content keywords are derived through social network-based semantic network analysis, emotions are analyzed, and keywords applied to food recommendation platforms are input. We collected food, influencer, and corona keyword analysis data through Textom. A lot of research has been done through online reviews of existing influencer content. However, there is a lack of research on keyword sentiment analysis provided by influencers rather than consumers and research perspectives. This paper uploads language and topics derived through online reviews of existing publications and subscribers, and goes beyond the limits used in marketing methods. By analyzing keywords that influencers suggest when uploading content, you can apply data that applies them to food recommendation platforms and applications.

  • The field of synthetic biology has emerged in response to the ongoing progress in the life sciences. Advances have been made in medicine, farming, eating, making materials, and more. Synthetic biology is the exploration of using living organisms to create new organisms. By manipulating specific genes to express targeted proteins, proteins can be created that are both productive and cost-effective. Solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) are employed for protein separation during the production process involving microorganisms. This study centers on Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) to showcase its utility in the food industry and food management. SPE is predominantly utilized as a pretreatment method to eliminate impurities from samples. In comparison to LLE, this method presents benefits such as decreased time and labor requirements, streamlined solvent extraction, automation capabilities, and compatibility with various other analytical instruments. Anion exchange chromatography (AEC) utilizes a similar methodology. Pharmaceutical companies utilize these technologies to improve the purity of biopharmaceuticals, thereby guaranteeing their quality. Used in the food and beverage industry to test chemical properties of raw materials and finished products. This exemplifies the potential of these technologies to enhance industrial development and broaden the scope of applications in synthetic biology.

  • In this paper we investigate relation between participation and satisfaction of industry-university co-program with the view of evaluating performance of industry-university cooperation. The importance rank and satisfaction of university-industry co-programs have statistically positive correlation. In regression model, the number of participating co-programs affects the general satisfaction positively. These results implement that the companies have interest in 'industry-university cooperation forum' in initial stage of industry university cooperation, and take part in 'technology co-development program' and gradually enhance availability of other co-programs.

  • This paper investigates the performance consequence of strategic changes when firms move closer to or further away from other firms in the industry. The study suggests a theoretical framework and hypotheses on the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on performance, and tests hypotheses with firm-level longitudinal data on the U.S. food processing industry during the period of 1985-2000. The study shows that strategic divergence is negatively related to performance, and that organizational size and firm-specific uncertainty significantly influence the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on financial performance. Particularly, high uncertainty seems to be conducive to financial performance improvement for organizations undergoing significant strategic changes converging toward other competitors. On the other hand, big organizational size seems to be beneficial for finns implementing strategic changesdiverging from other competitors.
