기능분해와 TRIZ 이론을 이용한 철도 대차의 구성설계 (Configuration Design of a Train Bogie using Functional Decomposition and TRIZ Theory)

  • The configuration design of a mechanical product can be efficiently performed when it is based on the functional modeling. There are methodologies, which decompose function from the abstract level to the concrete level and match the functions to physical parts. But it is difficult to carry out an innovative design when the function is matched only to a pre-detined part. This paper describes the configuration design process of a mechanical product with a design expert system, which uses function taxonomy and TRIZ theory. The expert system can propose a functional modeling of a new part. which is not in the existing parts list. The abstraction levels of design knowledge are introduced, which describe the operation of mechanical product in the levels of abstraction. This is the theoretical background of using knowledge of function and TRIZ for configuration design. The expert system is adequate to control this design knowledge. which expresses knowledge of functional modeling, mapping rules between functions and parts, selection of parts, and TRIZ theory. The hierarchy of functions and machine parts are properly expressed by classes and objects in the expert system. A design expert system has been implemented for the configuration design of a train bogie, and a new brake system of the bogie is introduced with the aid of TRIZ's 30 function groups.

  • This paper analyses the tool switching problem in the dynamic environment, where parts to be processed on a flexible machine arrive randomly. As the total number of tools required to Process a set of parts on the machine is generally larger than the available magazine storage capacity, tool switches between parts are usually necessary. We assume that tool switching must be made just before the processing of the parts. Since the time required for tool switches can be significant relative to processing time and cause the processing of parts to be delayed, it is desirable to minimize the number of tool switches. Therefore, we present one heuristic algorithm to minimize the total number of tool switches and the t)reposed heuristic is compared with the KTNS (Keep Tool Needed Soonest) policy on randomly generated problems.

금형온도가 사출성형품의 웰드라인과 치수안정성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Effects of Mold Temperature on the Weldline and Dimensional Stability of Injection-molded Parts)

  • 본 논문은 금형의 온도 변화가 사출성형품의 미시구조에 미치는 영향에 관해 연구했다. 웰드라인의 폭과 길이는 금형온도가 증가함에 따라 모두 감소되었다 그리고 금형의 온도에 따른 결정성수지인 PP(Polypropylene)와 비결정성수지인 PS(Polystyrene)의 치수안정성에 관해 연구했다. PS성형품은 금형온도가 높을수록 수축률이 줄어들고, 두께 편차가 적어졌고, PP성형품의 경우에는 결정의 생성으로 인해 상반된 경향이 나타났다. 캐비티의 충전성과 전사성은 금형온도가 높을수록 향상되었다.

  • In parts assignment problem for FMS, both the parts and the tools required to process the parts are assigned to the machine tools for a specified planning period. This is an important decision-making problem for a short-term production planning of FMS. In this paper, parts assignment problem for FMS was analyzed to determine the optimal plan which has the adaptability to production fluctuation. A mathematical model was developed for determing the parts and the tools required for the machine tools which compose FMS, and the model was analyzed to obtain optimal solution. In addition, the vality and feasibility of the computational algorithm was examined by solving a numerical example.

  • This paper addresses the problem of determining the proper level of concurrent spare parts(CSP) for a system consisting of multi-item parts under an available budget constraint. Initial provisioning of spare parts plays a major role in the acquisition of a new equipment system. Therefore, the proper level of spare parts should be on hand to maintain the availability of the system. This paper proposes a new CSP model and solution procedure that determines the proper level of spare parts satisfying the item priority and simultaneously available budget constraint.

  • 본 연구에서는 드릴비트 내부 유로의 최적설계를 위하여 암분유동해석을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 암분과 기체의 다상유동해석이 가능한 전산유체역학 코드인 Star-CCM+을 사용하였다. 실제 천공시험으로부터 획득한 결과값을 기체 및 암분의 해석조건으로 적용하였다. 내부 유로 설계에 관련된 핵심인자를 3가지로 결정한 후, 다구찌 기법을 활용한 실험계획법으로부터 3가지 설계인자에 대한 최적값을 조사하였다.

  • This study was concerned about mobile web-service of a VMI in the SCM system. The VMI would be a main module part of the SCM and regarded as very important thing on supply chain. Therefore, it was essential to react in real time of materials production and situation of used auto-part in procurement company. We could find an affordable method to realize the VMI in a web service. The web service has made inter relevant enterprise easy to collaborate because of supporting most operating system and frame-work. Moreover, the use of a mobile tools was guaranteed a product recording and requirement of materials to real time in a rapid changing of production environments. The result of this research was very useful to apply the VMI system in medium and small sized auto parts company. This web service package has programmed the Visual Studio Dot Net 2003 and the MS SQL 2000 as database.

  • Remanufacturing is an industrial manufacturing process. The merits of manufacturing are to reuse old products to perform like a new product and to save energy, natural resources, landfill space and to reduce air pollution by less re-smelting. This paper proposes a systemic approach for activating the domestic remanufacturing industry. The approach is based on inside and outside regulations to apply remanufacturing companies. And, we analyzed the state and problems of remanufacturing industry for automobile parts.

수송류 항공기용 금속계 제동패드의 역설계 절차 (Reverse Engineering Procedure of Metal Brake Pad for Part 25 Aircraft)

  • 본 연구는 항공기용 부품 및 장비품 중 치명성 부품인 수송류 항공기용 금속계 제동패드의 부품등제작자증명 및 부가형식증명을 위한 원 부품 등과 개발품의 설계 동일성 입증을 위한 역설계 절차를 도출하였다. 역설계 절차에 대한 규정은 우리나라의 경우 부품등제작자증명 지침에 의해 규정되며, 미국의 경우 AC No; 21.303-4에 규정되어 있다. 제동패드의 역설계 절차는 각 구성품별 샘플 수량, 치수공차, 기계적 물성 측정, 자재, 무게 및 부피특성 등의 동일성 확인 항목을 선정하여 각각의 세부 절차를 정의하였다. 아울러 우리나라 및 미국의 연방항공규정을 분석한 결과, 우리나라의 경우 수송류 항공기용 제동장치의 기술표준품 표준서 및 비행시험과 관련된 규정의 제정이 필요하다.

독립적인 생산셀 설계를 위한 유전 알고리즘 (Genetic Algorithm for Designing Independent Manufacturing Cells)

  • The procedure of grouping the machines and parts to form cells is called manufacturing cell design. The manufacturing cell design is an important step in the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing systems. For the successful implementation of the manufacturing systems, identification of independent manufacturing cells, i.e., cells where parts are completely processed in the cell and no intercell movements, is necessary in the design phase. In this paper, we developed a mixed integer programming model and genetic algorithm based procedure to solve the independent manufacturing cells design problem considering the alternative process plans and machines duplication. Several manufacturing parameters such as, production volume, machine capacity, processing time, number of cells and cell size, are considered in the process. The model determines the process plan for parts, port families and machine cells simultaneously. The model has been verified with the numerical examples.
