실무공학교육을 위한 현장맞춤형교육과정 개발 사례 (Case Study of Field-Oriented Curriculum Development for Practical Engineering Education)

  • 대학의 고등직업교육 중심기관으로서 역할을 다하여 노동시장의 미스매치 현상과 이로 인한 기업의 신입사원에 대한 재 교육비 소요 등의 불만 요소를 해소하는 노력이 필요하다. 이러한 산업사회의 수요에 대응하는 인력개발요구 및 기계분야 산업현장 요구를 충족시키는 교육과정에 있어서 제안된 능력단위를 근거로 해서 실무형 교육과정을 개발하는 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 산업체 직무를 분석하여 영역별 요구 수준을 파악한 후, 새로운 교육과정을 개발하고, 이에 따라 전문기술인력으로 갖추어야 할 능력과 높은 성과를 창출할 수 있는 인력양성의 중요성이 증대되고, 이러한 현장중심의 교육과정 개발을 통하여 재학생들의 취업률 향상에도 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

에너지 절약기술 수요조사 현황 및 분석 (A Study and Analysis on the Demands of Energy Conservation Technologies)

  • This study is to provide information in the development of energy conservation technologies by means of technological demand survey covering energy market and industrial field among energy-related technologies. For this purpose, we check both the present state of energy technologies and trends of social change in Korea, and then combine social needs with major, bottleneck, and essential technologies required for the future. The range of this study covers the field of industry, kiln, furnace, metal, building, transport, and electricity. For case study, valid 120 companies among the 500 companies selected randomly in the energy data-base of Korea institute of energy research (KIER) are considered.

  • Recent earthquakes have shown that near-field earthquakes can produce spectral demands significantly larger than those considered in current design code. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has recently initiated a coordinated research program on safety significance of near-field earthquakes. The purpose of this program is to focus on the assessment of vulnerability of nuclear facility structures by using and adapting the best available engineering practices appropriate to evaluate the effects of near-field earthquakes. The objective of this paper is to evaluate of seismic responses of a shear building test specimen subjected to near-filed earthquakes. To achieve the objective, the seismic responses of the test specimen, evaluated by the Displacement Coefficient Method (DCM) and Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis (NDA), are compared with those by the experimental tests.

요일 요인을 고려한 하절기 전력수요 예측 (The Load Forecasting in Summer Considering Day Factor)

  • 이 논문에서는 여름철 일일 전력수요 총량을 예측하는 회귀모형을 개발한다. 경제적인 전력 생산계획을 수립하기위해 예측 오차율을 낮추는 것은 매우 중요하다. 전력수요가 크게 증가하는 여름철 전력수요를 예측하기위해 기존 연구에서는 외기온도 및 직전일 전력수요를 고려하였으나, 이 논문에서는 기존 연구에서 제시한 예측 오차율을 개선하기 위해 전력수요의 요일별 특성을 추가적으로 고려한 회귀모형을 개발한다. 이 논문에서는 여름철 전력수요의 요일별 패턴은 최고차항의 계수가 음수인 2차 함수 형태를 나타냄을 확인하였다. 즉, 2005년부터 2009년까지 5년간의 여름철 전력수요 패턴을 살펴본 결과 전력수요 총량은 일요일에 가장 낮고 월요일부터 증가하다가 수요일이나 목요일부터 다시 감소하는 패턴을 보인다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 여름철 전력수요 예측 회귀모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 2005년부터 2009년까지 실제 전력수요 데이터를 바탕으로 여름철 전력수요 총량을 예측한 결과, 평균 오차율(MAPE: Mean Absolute Percentage Error)과 최대 오차율(MPE: Maximum Percentage Error)이 각각 3.08%와 8.99%를 넘지 않는 수준임을 확인하였다. 또한 기존 연구에서 제시한 방법과 비교하여도 평균 오차율과 최대 오차율 모두 기존 연구에서 제시한 오차율보다 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • In modern mechatronics new concepts of machines and processes are found by using the collected knowledge of all disciplines and by offering functional solutions. Most of the problems in the field of mechatronics demand technical innovations on the field of actuators, sensors and control methods. It demands also high dynamic drives with power electronics, able to cope with the new requirements. The paper presents some trends and industrial experiences with power components for high dynamic drives.

코업(CO-OP) 교육을 통한 창업 활성화 방안 연구 : 현장실습연계형 대학 교육모델 개발을 중심으로 (A Study on the University Start-Up Activation Plan through CO-OP Education : Focused on Development of a University Education Model with linking Field Practices)

  • The cooperation between universities and industries is already one of the most important factors driving the national economy in the knowledge-based society of the 21st century represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Korean government has also been carrying out legal and institutional re-adjustments to promote industrial-university cooperation in line with demands for such changes in the times. However, despite this industry-academic cooperation system, there is still a significant mismatch between industrial demand and the university's workforce development system. By the way, there is a Cooperative Education(CO-OP) in Canada and the United States. It's an innovative link between the university and the industry. The reason is that the CO-OP program not only allows students to gain experience with their majors in the industrial field, but also plays a positive role in improving their specialty expertise. In particular, field information, ideas, and job insights that students acquire through CO-OP also serve as motivation for starting a business beyond employment after graduation. Furthermore, CO-OP experience is an important opportunity for future researchers to come up with commercialized research results that are not separated from the field sites The purpose of this study is to overcome the gap between industrial demand and the college manpower training system, and develop a Korean-style coaching program model as a growth engine for creative talent-building policies, represented by 'creation of start-ups and new industry.' In addition, this study suggested measures that can be applied in real universities. In addition, the study also highlighted that the introduction of CO-OP programs with field practices in Korea could also boost start-ups. Based on the Korean CO-OP program model, the curricula applicable to domestic universities consisted of two types : general and research-oriented university types.

융합기술교육에 대한 산업체 수요조사 : 나노, 바이오, 로봇, 디자인 분야를 중심으로 (Industrial Needs Investigation on Technological Convergence Education: Focused on the Field of Nano-tech, Bio-tech, Robot, and Design)

  • This study aims to investigate industry needs for convergence education in the field of nano-technology, bio-technology, robot, and design. Firstly, the area of convergence technology in nano-tech, bio-tech, robot, and design fields was examined through the literature review and case study. The areas were validated by the experts review who consisted of four industry experts and four professors in the relevant fields. Second, a questionnaire was developed for investigating industry's needs on convergence education. The questionnaire consisted of three parts: 1) awareness of necessity for convergence education, 2) the needs for convergence new technology education from the perspective of industry, and 3) opinions on convergence education. The questionnaire was validated by three engineering education experts. Third, the survey was conducted in cooperation with the Sector Council of Industrial Resources. A total of 400 respondents responded to the questionnaires: 98 in the nano-technology field, 74 in the design field, 58 in the robotics field, and 170 in the bio-technology field. Fourth the industry needs for convergence education were analyzed and implications were suggested. The results of this study are expected to provide a guideline for developing convergence education programs in higher education.

공업지역 활성화 시범사업에 대한 입주기업 요구사항 분석: 부산 사상공업지역을 중심으로 (Corporate Demands Analyses of Pilot Projects for the Industrial Area Revitalization: Focused on Busan Sasang Industrial Area)

  • 이 연구는 부산광역시 사상공업지역에 입주한 기업의 지식산업혁신거점 조성에 대한 요구를 분석하여 공업지역 활성화를 위한 관련 제도의 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 부산 사상공업지역의 물리적 현황분석과 입주기업을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 이용하였다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업물류를 다루는 공업지역임에도 도로율이 낮고, 필지 규모가 작아 대부분의 입주기업이 영세성을 면치 못하고 있다. 둘째, 공업지역 활성화 시범사업의 인지도는 낮지만 공업지역 혁신과 시범사업 필요도, 기대효과는 상대적으로 높았다. 셋째, 시범사업의 혁신거점조성에 대한 기대가 높으며(90.3%), 핵심적 도입기능으로는 연구개발센터 입주를 강하게 희망하고 있다. 이러한 분석에 기초하여, 공업지역 활성화를 위한 법·제도의 시행에 따른 정비계획의 방향을 제안하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대상지 내 업종 간 연계성, 어떤 업종이 성장우위에 있는지 세부적인 기초조사를 통한 검토가 선행되어야 한다. 둘째, 산업혁신거점 조성은 주변 공업지역에 파급력이 있고 업종별 지원을 할 수 있는 센터로 운영될 수 있도록 조처해야 한다. 셋째, 공업지역의 혁신적인 변화는 주요 이해당사자가 협력하여 활성화 방안을 지속적으로 개발하고 연구함으로써 실행력을 높여야 한다.

공동주택의 현장관리 인력 산출모형 연구 (A Calculation Model of Site Management Manpower for Apartment Building Construction Project)

  • Construction companies find it increasingly necessary to reduce the cost as the construction market has been suffering from a depression and the industrial environment has been changing fast lately. The cost cut demands the productivity management of the field operations, which can be made feasible by assigning an appropriate number of managers on the construction site. However, previous studies are focused on the labor productivity and construction companies take into account only the revenue per worker in organizing the staff. The purpose of this study is to research the model for calculating the field management manpower in accordance with the characteristic of project and site conditions which are usually considered in the beginning of the construction project. The data about apartment building projects of domestic large constructors and factors related to them were statistically analyzed. The results of this study can be used to calculate the necessary field management manpower in accordance with the characteristic of project.

AI 교육을 위한 전공별 맞춤형(RAS) 교육과정 개발연구 (A Research on the Development of Customized Curriculum (RAS) for Each Major for AI Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to effectively implement the artificial intelligence education required in the digital transformation era. As we enter the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the demand for a great digital transformation in industry is essential, and the nurturing of manpower is presented as an indispensable relationship in the industrial field based on it. The integration of various new technologies that have emerged from the era of the 4th industrial revolution has the greatest purpose in realizing artificial intelligence technology. As the importance of digital competency in the top curriculum reorganization has been highlighted, artificial intelligence education is necessary even in the curriculum reorganization in 2022, and there is a demand in the educational field that it should be converted into a mandatory education in middle and high schools. Artificial intelligence education according to the demands of the times is to develop an artificial intelligence curriculum in universities by reestablishing systematic artificial intelligence education in universities, setting educational goals, and presenting the goals of artificial intelligence education by major. The main direction of this study is to present the relationship between artificial intelligence and each major in university education, develop a curriculum based on artificial intelligence for each major, and link artificial intelligence software for AI education customized for each major. We would like to present a process that can measure the learning outcomes of AI education.
