Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explore the introduction and activation of smart training for the effective training of vocational ability development of companies in the 4th industrial revolution era, we analyze the present status of smart training introduction and related difficulties and propose concrete activation plan. Research design, data, and methodology - Through the online survey, we tried to confirm the recognition of corporate about smart training. Questionnaires include what are the benefits, expectations, and difficulties of smart training, etc. The survey was conducted from August 21, 2017 to September 4, 2017. A total of 69 companies participated in the questionnaire. The questionnaire results were analyzed through frequency analysis and contents analysis. Based on the results of the questionnaire, we found out the cause of inhibition of smart training activation and suggested activation strategies. Results - The main reason for the provision of smart training is the expectation of the training performance and the recognition that it is possible to provide training in a flexible manner. The effectiveness of smart training operation was evaluated as a high level of contribution to the development of creative training course and the capacity of training institute. As a result of checking factors that hinders the activation of smart training, the most important reason is that the time and cost burden of the training institutes is excessive. The lack of expertise in the design of smart training courses and the burden of employers and trainees. Conclusions - In order to activate smart training, it is necessary to find solutions to the obstacles at the internal or external level of training institutions. The internal barriers to the training organization are lack of internal competence for preparation and course management. In this regard, we need to consider providing consulting, best practices or guidance in the process of designing and operating smart training. On the other hand, as an external obstacle factor, it is necessary to provide incentives to participate in smart training. In addition, further research is needed on strategies that can lead to participation in smart training from the viewpoint of employers and learners.

Recently, Korea has undergone rapid social and economic development, and with that came various changes in living habits and disease patterns; the nation, accordingly, has been alerted to the associated risks of chronic ailments. As risk factors of metabolic syndrome commonly include causal factors of chronic diseases, prevention is important. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in Korean adults is 22.4%, which comprises a large portion of the whole disease (Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2013). This study aims to examine the elements of healthy living practices by analyzing the risk factors of metabolic syndrome and health behaviors, and provide basic materials to contribute to the activation of health promotion. Among 12,481 subjects of the source data from the 2014 community health survey, which was performed on adults aged 19 and over in Jeonlabuk-do, 12,185 people were analyzed in this study using SPSS 23.0. There were significant differences with respect to sex, smoking status, age, education level, and number of days of physical activity among the results of the difference of the risk factors of the metabolic syndrome according to the characteristics of the health behavior of the subjects. Of the risk factors for metabolic syndrome, this study emphasized the necessity of strategies to promote health programs regarding the management of drinking, smoking, physical activities, depression, subjective health condition and quality of life to the group of those with dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes.

Resident's attitude and evaluation about local or urban development policies is a major factor in the process of the regional and urban 1)tanning and its practices. Therefore there are numerous studies pointing to analysis about the evaluation of the urban development policies. The purpose of this paper is concerned on the residents'cognitions, attitudes and evaluation about of urban development policy of Sunchon City in South Korea. Research area, Suncgon city, has been served as a central place of eastern Chollanamdo since 1920 and now functions as economic and commercial leading city of Kwangyang-bay area. In addition, Sunchon city is fastly growned with the influence of national development policy including the establishment of major industrial estates and the construction of container port in Kwangyang-bay area. In the overall cognition and evaluation about the quality of life of Sunchon city, most people are satisfied with the quality of life of urban living comparing with near cities such as Kwangyang and Yosu city. In particular, the level of satisfaction about education, transportation, natural environment are relatively higher than economic condition and living facilities. Most of residents have positive attitude and evaluation about the image of future urban development, and prefer to culture and education city in urban function of Sunchon city. Therefore, in order to function as a central city of Kwangyang-bay area. Sunchon city have to adopt new urban development policy including such as reconstruction of urban spatial structure, strengthening of culture and education functions, and the related facilities, restructuring of regional industrial structure. and expansion of commercial and shopping facilities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the knowledge, attitudes, safety management behavior, and radiation anxiety of dental hygienists and to analyze affecting factors in order to improve the level of radiation safety management and reduce anxiety. The study period consisted of 280 dental hygienists working in Jeollabuk-do from September 10 to October 31, 2017 using the SPSS 12.0 program, frequency, descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. The average knowledge level of radiation quality control was 8.07, and the correct answer rate was 75.3%. The attitude level was 96.1%, and the radiation safety management behavior was 4.11 for the photographer and 4.58 for the 'always wear a TLD (personal dosimeter) during radiography'. Patient radiation safety management behavior was 3.86, and the highest was '4.69' to confirm pregnancy of the woman before radiography. Radiation-covered lining was 3.86, and was the highest at 4.13 for 'I am concerned about fetal health when I am pregnant'. Factors affecting radiation exposure anxiety were lower radiation safety management behaviors, lower age, lower radiographic experience, higher educational background, higher monthly income, and higher job title (p<0.05). Based on the above results, dental hygienists had strong knowledge, attitudes, and safety management practices for radiation quality control. However, since anxiety related to radiation exposure was high, it is possible to improve radiation safety management level and reduce radiation exposure anxiety.

This study was conducted to evaluate the moral distress, moral sensitivity, and the factors that influence moral distress and the experience of moral distress among nurse working in a long-term care hospital. Overall, 180 nurses working in long-term care hospital in G Province were evaluated. Date were collected from March 21 to April 8, 2016 and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The mean of moral distress among nurses was 3.57 and the moral sensitivity was 4.82, and these factors was significantly and positively correlated (r=0.494, p<0.001). Regression analysis revealed that the factors that significantly influenced moral distress were moral sensitivity and ethical dilemmas when conducting nursing practices. Situations that caused nurses to experience moral distress included inappropriate care behavior was not guaranteed the quality of nursing care, conditions related to unethical the human rights, conditions related to the lack of nursing staff and conditions related to the lack of support at the organizational and national level. Therefore, to reduce moral distress, nursing intervention programs that improve the moral sensitivity and ability to solve ethical-problems are needed for nurses working in long-term care facilities.

This study examined the moral judgments and ethical decision-making and analyzed ethical dilemmas experienced in practice by nursing students. The data were collected using self-reported questionnaires and reports from 189 college students in their 2nd ~ 4th grades. Data collection period was from Nov 6th - 20th in 2012. Each grade's P(%) scores were 47.92, 43.74, and 43.75 respectively.. For stage 4 score, each grade's scores were 22.37, 22.98, and 19.74. This result shows that, compared to juniors, senior student's P(%) scores did not drop and stage 4 scores rather decreased, which is in line with the results of previous studies about the effects of ethics education. This finding could be attributed to the regular and voluntary case presentations and discussions required for the senior participants. Regarding ethical decision-making type, the most favored was type 3(35.45%). Among seven categories of the ethical dilemmas facing the students, the most commonly reported was the patient's rights and dignity, followed by practices based on nursing standards, arranging for dying patients. This study raises the need that the curriculum is revised to encourage student's participation in the analysis of ethical issues they confront in the field.

From foreign and/or domestic investors' perspectives, it may be interesting to find any financial attributes or profile of the firms headquartered in 'Chungcheong' province concerning profitability, given that this subject so far drew less attention in the previous literature. This study performed three hypothesis tests on the profitability indicator by utilizing the models such as the 'panel data' one and the 'logistic' regression one, applying a modified 'Dupont' system. With respect to the major findings, the results identified that the proxies measuring leverage across the book-value(BVLEV1) and the market-value(MVLEV1) bases, were statistically significant constituents determining profitability. Another explanatory variable, SIZE, with its positive and statistically significant relationship to the indicator, represented that the firms in the province were smaller than their counterparts in the other regional areas in Korea. DRELY applying a modified 'Dupont' system, found to be the only statistically significant discriminating factor between these comparison groups. As one of the primary contributions of this study, the outcomes may be used by the financial institutions operated across the regions including Seoul Metropolitan area, when implementing their lending practices to provide funds for potential borrowers such as the firms belonging to 'Chungcheong' province.

To examine the problem structure of balanced regional development policy and identify the causes of the gap between the capital and non-capital areas, this study examined the causal structure in terms of the concentration and distribution of functions in the metropolitan area and non-capital area and explored the policy leverage. As a research method, the causal map was drawn using System Dynamics techniques and policy leverage was derived through an exploration of the feedback structure. In particular, the causes of the problems in balanced regional development policies were approached by system accidents rather than by single-circuit accidents, and causality analysis was performed among the variables constituting balanced regional development policies based on system accidents. In particular, it singled out 31 variables, developed 13 feedback loops, and confirmed four major policy leverages, including relocation of the capital function, local decentralization policies, consistent development, and investment practices centered on the NonCapital Area. Subsequently, a follow-up study by computer simulation is needed by modeling the structure of the system to identify the ripple effect of the policies of the Capital Area on the NonCapital Area.
Collaborative systems allow users, who may be far removed from each other geographically, to do collaborative work such as 3D animation, computer game, and industrial design in a single virtual space. This paper describes our experience to develop a collaborative system framework that aims at expanding the some functions of a stand-alone visual modeling tool, called 3D Studio Max, into those of the distributed collaborative working environments. The paper mainly deals with design and implementation of a 3D shared-object Plug-In with respect to the 3D Studio Max Plug-In Software Development Kit in the distributed collaborative system developed by the authors. There are two major functions of the proposed scheme; one is to write 3D object-information to the shared memory after extracting it from the 3D Studio Max, the other is to create 3D objects after retrieving them from the shared memory. Also, the proposed scheme provides a simple way of storing 3D objects that have variable size, by means of shared memory which located in between the collaborative system clients and 3D studio Max. One of the remarkable virtures of the Plug-In is to reduce a considerable amount of shared object data which in consequence can mitigate the network overhead. This can be achieved by the fact that the system is able to extract a minimum amount of 3D objects that are required to transmit. Also, using the proposed scheme, user can facilitate 3D Studio Max into distributed collaborative working environments. This, in consequence give many benefits such as saving time as well as eliminating space constraints in the course of 3D modeling when we are under industrial design process.
The purpose of this study is to explore some directions and alternatives for reforming the school education system, which is one of the core policy agendas of the Korean society that has met the upcoming 4th industrial revolution era and intelligence information society. Korean school education is a supplier-oriented system that does not take into consideration student's individual needs and aptitudes, and maintains uniform educational and learning practices while strengthening the characteristics of factory school model of the early 20th century. Especially, according to the excessive follow-up of the college entrance examination of the people the de-contextualization of knowledge and the instrumentation and learning of the education has been deepened. For the reform of the education system, first, it should transform the curriculum delegation system from the current administrative to teacher-based system. Second, we need to dismantle the bureaucratic corps of teacher that erodes the autonomy of the teacher and should establish the professional teacher system. Third, we should overcome egoism of each curriculum territory and reform the teacher education system. Fourth, it is necessary to overhaul the system of education and administrative bureaucracy as well as to overhaul the system of educational law. Fifth, it is necessary for the school administration to provide more effective communication between learners and teachers.
