There are three basic modes of operation of ships: liner, tramp and industrial operations. Industrial operations, where the owner of the cargo, i.e. the industrial carrier controls the ships, abound in the shipment of bulk commodities, such as oil, chemicals and ores. Industrial carriers strive to minimize the shipping cost of their cargoes. This paper is concerned with the operational optimization problem of a fleet owned by major international oil company. The major oil company is a holding corporation for a group of oil producing, transporting, refining, and marketing companies located in various countries throughout the world. The operational optimization problem of the fleet is divided into two-phases. The front end corresponds to the optimization of transporting crude oil, product mix, and the distribution of product oil to meet market demand. The back end tackles the operational optimization problem of the fleet to meet the transportation demand derived from the front end. A case study is carried out with the H major oil company problem composed by reflecting the practices of an international major oil company. The results are summarized and examined in the point of optimization for the total operation of the H major oil company and the operational optimization problem of the fleet. The paper concludes with the remark that the results of the study might be useful and applicable in practices of these related decision problems.

본 연구는 아이돌보미의 안전지식, 안전인식, 안전효능감과 안전행동실천과의 관계를 파악하기 위하여 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2019년 12월부터 2020년 1월까지 경상북도 소재 2개 시에서 아이돌보미 양성교육 과정을 이수하여 아이돌보미 자격을 갖춘 아이돌보미 199명을 대상으로 시행되었다. 자가 보고식 설문지를 사용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 25.0 Program을 이용하여 기술통계(빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차)를 실시하고, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 아이돌보미의 안전지식은 0.64(±0.09)점이었으며, 안전인식은 1.92(±0.37)점, 안전효능감은 4.18(±0.51)점, 안전행동실천은 2.55(±0.36)점이었다. 안전행동 실천은 안전지식(r=.14, p=.042), 안전효능감(r=.43, p<.001)과 안전효능감의 하위요인인 자기조절(r=.32, p<.001), 주위사람 도움(r=.40, p<.001), 주위환경 조절(r=.39, p<.001)과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 아이돌보미의 안전행동실천 영향요인으로 안전효능감의 하부요인인 주위사람 도움(β=.24, p=.009)과 주위환경 조절(β=.19, p=.039)이었으며, 이들 요인들의 안전행동 실천 설명력은 20.0%이었다. 이와 같은 결과에 따라 아이돌보미의 안전행동 실천을 높이기 위해서는 안전효능감을 증진시키는 방안을 마련할 필요가 있다.

The objective of this paper is to outline an integrated cellular manufacturing system (ICMS) which integrates process planning and scheduling in the cellular manufacturing environment. It combines design systems with manufacturing systems in batch production. Furthermore, it is developed to overcome the difficulties that exist in the current manufacturing practices.

This paper reports an empirical study on assessment of R&D best practices. The principles of quality management and their tools such as best practices or benchmarking have been so prevailing in the operational process that the R&D management recently consider extensive use of them for their innovation process. However, characteristics of the two processes may be different each other. Are the principles or the tools that were effective in the operational field still going to be effective in the innovative field? In order to answer the question, we statistically examine how R&D best practices contribute to the innovative performance. Upon literature review on technological innovation, we present a R&D process model whereby we set forth research hypotheses. Using data from 66 successful R&D efforts carried out among Korean firms mostly between 1999-2001, regression analyses reveal that best practices used in most stages throughout the R&D process are found not to significantly contribute to the innovative performance. Only those in technology strategy and prototyping stages are proven effective for technical and commercial performance respectively. Interestingly, efforts in a problem solving and improvement stage are counterproductive in the case of the innovation process. Discussions on our empirical observations are presented followed by some managerial implications.

Learning Organization is a learning based community to make the most important value in the era of Knowledge Economy, Creation. That's why people share, facilitate personal, individual's knowledge & experience systems each other and make good thoughts & ideas in the organization. This study measures the building practices having conducted the F team in Samsung electronics using DLOQ that indicates the activate degree of Learning Organization and the quantitative degrees of Learning Organization through comparing the cross-evaluation between the already measured companies in addition to analyzing the F team's success factors. Learning Organization requires sustainable and continuous activity, nor completes by changing many factors with human resources. The study will have the achievement if we measure the successful activity through global companies built a Learning Organization and facilitate the improvement activity sustainably.

In an industrial Era, OJT(On-the-Job Training) has been accepted as the field learning. But in a breaking up era, traditional field training needs to change and make an evolutionary model. Also, we need to make evolutionary model for various changing ways and means and need means to maximize the transformation of learning by operating learning organization. In knowledge based society, as people work and learn new knowledge in order to pass the experience knowledge and capabilities, they are not the traditional relationship between trainer and trainee but maximize work and learning, development and performance through several different ways. So, the study about new learning model is needed because the learning is creating the value and makes low cost and high efficiency about the elements of cost and time. We study the evolutionary model, OJF(On-the-Job Facilitating) - new learning methodology - through operating learning organization in S Electronics and its application practices.

The Purpose of this study is to investigate the father's role of childrearing appeared in Korean central daily newspapers. The method used for this study is the content analysis of the articles related with childrearing in Dong-a ilbo and Cho-seun ilbo from 1920's to 1970's. It is found that the articles dealt with childrearing were concerned on childrearing practices conformable with social change for industrial capitalization during twentieth century of Korea. These articles dealt with problems of practices in nurturing, teaching, diciplining and interfacing between home and institutional education of school. It is found that the father's role of childrearing were gender-nonspecipic.

The various research on Communities of practices (CoP) for propagation of softer type knowledge in new Knowledge Management (KM) strategy having been performed for past couple of years. CoP is one of effective process innovation tool for diffusion of knowledge. Based on CoP's voluntary and spontaneous characteristic, it performs a function of delivering softer type knowledge of workers to the other colleagues of organization. But one step further to CoP's function of propagation of internal knowledge, research on function of CoP's contribution in enterprise strategy are insufficient yet. This paper presents enterprise CoP should be managed and aligned to strategic objectives of enterprise, and also, suggests the methodology for CoPs to maintain a lifecycle as a tool to contribute in strategic goal attainment. Although CoPs are voluntary and spontaneous informal organization, it can display a contribution as tool for KM strategy when it is aligned to strategy properly and form efficient lifecycle.
