  • This paper deals with the productivity increment through construction of HT8 production system for automobile factory in China. HT8 production system start to build up several management indices. The important management indices consists of organization management, location management, management of order, management of defective item, management of delivery information, and warehouse management. This HT8 production system is expected to obtain the improvement for overall organization management and reduction by 50% in warehouse cost.

  • Today, many companies have introduced an ERP system - an enterprise resources planning - in order to improve corporate credibility through transparent management and for quick responses to market situations through quick decision making. After the construction of an ERP system, many companies are having difficulty in calculating the appropriate number of personnel required for running the system because of a lack of standard for doing so, as well as a lack of pertinent procedures. As a result, the companies are having to resort to a trial-and-error approach. Therefore this paper studied a model for calculating the appropriate number of personnel required for efficiently running an ERP system after its construction, as well as for constantly meeting its performance targets. The developed model was applied empirically to calculate an appropriate number of personnel required, and an organization was set up according to this. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to present an optimized model for calculating the number of personnel required for operating an ERP system, that which addresses problems of existing models, in order to help companies organize the operation personnel and its size, as well as to provide more objectivity to the calculated number of personnel required and to improve credibility.

  • Globalization of economy has a significant impact on the organization of economic Space. This paper examines the concepts of globalization and localization, major trends of the changes in the organization of economic space in the Pacific rim, and the major processes of the changes. Intra-regional trade and foreign direct investments have increased considerably in the Pacific region with the progress of globalization during the last decade. Due to the Progress of globalization of economy in the Pacific rim, some growth triangles have extended their agglomeration area beyond the national boundaries and several new industrial districts have developed. The reorganization of the economic space in the Pacific rim has been resulted from industrial restructuring of NIEs, spatial division of labor along the commodity chains, and the formation of industrial networks within the region. The ‘cooperative network strategy’has been suggested to minimize the negative effects of glocalization and for the sustainable development in the Pacific rim.

  • In This Study, we Analyze how the Market Orientation and Learning Orientation that can be Regarded as the Two core Factors of Small Business, Necessary for Companies to Grow Continuously Influence on Corporate Performance. This is an Empirical Study on the Influence of them. Small Companies have a Greater Impact on the Survival and Growth of Organization Commitment I Experienced that. In this Study, we Focused on the Mediating Effect of Organization Commitment when the Company's Market Orientation and Learning Orientation Influenced on the Corporate Performance as a Differentiated Element of Research. Research results have Revealed that Surprisingly, Small Companies Market Orientation and Influence on Corporate Performance. Research results have Revealed that Surprisingly, Small Companies Market Orientation and Learning Orientation had a Significant Influence on Corporate Performance. It was also Verified that Organization Commitment had Partially Mediated Effects. In Conclusion, as a Prerequisite for Small Enterprises to grow, we have to Create Market Oriented and Learning Oriented Organization and at the same time we should Strive to Ensure that all Organization Members have Attachment Relationships with their Organization. It is Understood that it must be. The Results of these Studies will be Helpful for not only Individuals who Prepare for Founding and Founded but also Start-up Related Officials.

  • Despite surging interests in analyzing business processes, there are few scientific approaches to analysis and redesign of organizational structures which can greatly affect the performance of business processes. This paper presents a method for deriving and analyzing organizational relations from process models using social network analysis techniques. Process models contain information on who performs which processes and activities, along with the assignment of organizational units such as departments and roles to related activities. To derive social relations between organizational units from process models, three types of metrics are formally defined: transfer of work metrics, subcontracting metrics, and cooperation metrics. By applying these metrics, various relations among organizational units can be derived and analyzed. To verify the proposed method and metrics, they are applied to standard process models of the semiconductor and electronic, and automotive industry in Korea. This paper presents a taxonomy for diagnosing organization structure based on the presented approach. The paper also discusses how to combine analyses in the taxonomy for redesign of organizational structures.

  • In this paper, we propose the organization of a sensor system and user's intent detection algorithm for walking assist rehabilitation robots. The main purpose of walking assist rehabilitation robots is assisting SCI patients to walk in normal environment. To use walking assist rehabilitation robot in normal environment, it is needed to consider various factors about user's safety and detection of user's intent and so on. For these purposes, we have analyzed the use case of rehabilitation robots and organized the system of sensors for walking assist rehabilitation robots and finally, we have developed the algorithm which is used to detect user's intent for those. We applied our proposal method in the rehabilitation robot, ROBIN, and verified their effectiveness by normal, not patient.
