Decision Support for Selecting Workflow Software Products

  • 최근 많은 기업들이 비즈니스 프로세스 자동화를 위한 새로운 정보기술로 워크플로우를 도입하고 있다. 워크플로우 소프트웨어는 여러 벤더 제품과 고려해야할 선정기준이 많다는 점 때문에 도입 기업은 복잡한 의사결정 문제에 직면하게 된다 벤더들로부터 제공되는 제품은 서로 다른 특징들을 가지고 있어 충분한 경험과 전문지식이 없는 경우 어려움을 겪기 마련이다 본 연구에서는 워크플로우 소프트웨어 제품 평가와 선정을 위한 의사결정 방법으로 계층적분석과정(Analytic Hierarchy Process: AHP)을 제시한다. 우리는 AHP 구현도구인 Expert Choice를 사용하여 워크플로우 유형 및 상업용 제품의 중요도를 도출한다.

AHP를 이용한 폐수정화공정의 막기술 선정에 관한 연구 (An Application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process to the Selection of the Membrane Systems of Waste Water Treatment)

  • Recently, due to the primary emphasis of environmental problem, the proper selection of the membrane systems necessary for waste water treatment has been one of the critical issues in the industrial sector. This paper shows how an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model can be used for assessing the performance of selected membrane systems: ultrafiltration, microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and electrodialysis essential for waste water treatments. The final results show that ultrafiltration is the most attractive membrane system to use in a water recycling system, followed by microfiltration, reverse osmosis and electrodialysis. This is consistent with the information that we found with respect to the elements that were taken into consideration. Sensitivity analysis is also provided here.

  • Priority rules or sequencing heuristics conventionally used to determine resource allocation is to maximize the earned value on time and cost. This study provides a effective strategy-oriented approach for the program resource management problem with limited same resource, which systematically connects individual project objectives to the overall organizational goal, by introducing financial values as well as priority rules in a broader context. It deals with the resource allocation problem as the decision making problem in the strategic management paradigm to meet business objective and solves it using the analytic hierarchy process, and explains the method of application and usefulness through some simulation cases.

  • 최근 기업들은 글로벌 경쟁과 국내외 경영환경의 빠른 변화로 인해 과거와 같은 경영방식과 생산수단으로써는 경쟁에서 이겨나가기가 어려워지고 있다. 이와 함께 정보와 지식의 효과적인 활용을 통한 기업 경쟁력을 향상하려는 지식경영에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 지식경영의 성공요인들을 계층분석과정(AHP)을 통해서 찾아내고 성공요인들 간의 상대적인 중요도를 파악하여 지식경영을 도입하려는 기업들에게 성공적인 도입을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

콘도르 정보 검색 시스템 (Information Retrieval System : Condor)

  • 본 연구는 다중어 질의어를 제공하는 대용량 정보검색 시스템, 콘도르에 대한 고찰이다. 이 시스템은 전북대학교, (주)서치라인, 그리고 카네기멜론 대학교가 컨소시엄 형태로 개발하였다. 이 시스템의 질의처리는 확률 모델을 기반하고 있으며 최근 정보검색 시스템에서 제공하는 문서 클러스터링 기능을 제공하고 있다. 특히 시스템의 특징은 다중어 질의어를 처리하고 질의를 중심으로 온라인으로 문서를 클러스터링하고 요약하는 것이다. 본 시스템은 이미 국내의 3,000만개 웹페이지에 대한 테스트를 마쳤으며 그 안정성을 확보하고 있다.

계층분석과정을 이용한 다이옥신 방지기술시스템의 선정에 관한 연구 (The Selection of Prevention Technology Systems for Dioxin Treatment: The Analytic Hierarchy Process Approach)

  • Recently, due to the primary emphasis of environmental problem, the proper selection of the prevention technology systems necessary for Dioxin treatment has been one of the critical issues in the industrial sector. This paper shows how an Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) model can be used for assessing the performance of selected prevention technology systems: SDA/BF-SCR, SNCR-SDA/BF, SDA/BF, EP-WS-SCR, ED-WS, and EP-SCR-WS essential for Dioxin treatments. The final results show that SNCR-SDA/BF is the most attractive prevention technology system to use in an incinerator system, followed by SDA/BF-SCR, SDA/BF and EP-WS-SCR. This is consistent with the information that we found with respect to the elements that were taken into consideration. Sensitivity analysis is also provided here.

Using DEA and AHP for Hierarchical Structures of Data

  • In this paper, we propose an integrated data envelopment analysis (DEA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology in which the information about the hierarchical structures of input-output data can be reflected in the performance assessment of decision making units (DMUs). Firstly, this can be implemented by extending a traditional DEA model to a three-level DEA model. Secondly, weight bounds, using AHP, can be incorporated in the three-level DEA model. Finally, the effects of incorporating weight bounds can be analyzed by developing a parametric distance model. Increasing the value of a parameter in a domain of efficiency loss, we explore the various systems of weights. This may lead to various ranking positions for each DMU in comparison to the other DMUs. An illustrative example of road safety performance for a set of 19 European countries highlights the usefulness of the proposed approach.

  • The importance of intellectual property is increasing in the knowledge and information era. An organization that embraces technology and strategy is faced with promising opportunities and managerial difficulties. Forecasting the performance of technology and the underlying costs to achieve such performance is even more difficult than before. Those organizations that employ technology as part of their strategic arsenal know that they are running serious risks, which clearly increases the uncertainty of organizational performance. Therefore forecasting the performance of technology is a difficult task since technology has been characterized by intangible and tacit factors and traded in a supplier's market. The decision makers usually face a complex system of interrelated components, such as resources, desired outcomes or objectives. This study intends to evaluate the contribution of technology in intangible assets by the Analytic Hierarchy Process.

AHP를 활용한 안전한 제품을 공급하기 위한 기업의 전략적 실행방안 (Strategic Action Plan for Companies to Supply Safe Products Using AHP Technology)

  • Purpose: In this study, the detailed implementation plan for product safety evaluation and management suggested by KS A ISO 10377 to reduce the risk of harm to consumers and users is presented so that companies can strategically implement it. Methods: In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the upper elements and detailed execution plans shown in KS A 10377 are classified into hierarchies and set as a decision hierarchy. A pairwise comparison is performed to derive it. Results: Among the top factors, 'design safety (D)' was the most important factor, with 0.314. Therefore, ensuring safety in the design stage that can prevent defects in advance is the most important action plan for companies to supply safe products. Conclusion: The results of this study, it is intended to help companies and related organizations more easily understand and continuously apply KS A ISO 10377.

Technology Planning-Based Management for the Dissemination of R&D Outcome of Government Supported Research Institutes

  • This study deals with technology planning-based management for Basic R&D Programs of government supported research institutes (GRIs). The Korean Research Council for Industrial Science and Technology which consists of major GRIs needs to implement new government policies which focus on the dissemination of R&D outcome, collaborative research, and performance-oriented R&D investment. The major characteristics of technology planning-based management include the hierarchy of market-oriented technology plans and the valuation of core technologies. We also suggest technology classifications and project network diagrams.
