A Study on PFC-Inverter Soft-Switching (소프트-스위칭 PFC-인버터에 대한 연구)

  • A new soft-switching PFC-Inverter for Induction Motor's operation with single phase or three phase medium size is proposed. In order to improve the power factor and the efficiency, in this paper, the ZVT topology in the conventional PFC-Inverter is adopted. So, the operation mode of the proposed ZVT PFC-inverter is analyzed and the optimum circuit is designed. At last, the PSPICE simulation and experiment results are presented in order to verify the validity of the proposed circuit.

  • To improve traction effort performance and stability for the Korean High-Speed Railway Train, practical re-adhesion controller including a novel anti-slip control scheme is proposed. The presented method is verified by train running simulation results based on induction motor vector control with PWM inverter.

  • In the case of long secondary (applied in long distance), as it is established horizontal, the defects of droop arises resulting damage of entire system. Actually, it is difficult to expect reasonable characteristics and desirable operating in that case. This paper is about numerical analysis of secondary droop, non-symmetric and position displacement problems. In the base of this paper, the correction of mechanical difficulties in practical manufacturing and optimal design of TLIM considering these aspects can be progressed successively.

  • Voltage Sags, different from electric outages, are important to industrial reliability because modern process controls are often sensitive to voltage sag, the designer and operator should recognize sag characteristics of the electric system not only to protect malfunction of equipment but also to make best choices between reliability and equipment cost. The voltage sags and compensation countermeasures of large md industrial distribution systems have been simulated using EMTDC. The causes of voltage sags occurred in the system are discussed in detail and several countermeasures including the transfer of large induction motor from normal power source to backup source are recommended in order to enhance the ride-through characteristics of equipments.

  • This paper considers the problem of eliminating harmonics in the inverter output waveforms. The approach is based on the minimization of the current harmonics in the induction motor by space vector modulation method. Reference voltage is compensated with injection of controlled current harmonics which are calculated to reduce current harmonics through sampled current harmonic analyzing algorithm. The theoretical analysis is carried out using computer simulation. It is verified that proposed SVM technique could reduce current harmonic component and improve THD.

  • A direct torque control(DTC) based sensorless speed control system which employs a new closed loop flux observer is proposed. The flux observer is an adaptive gain scheduling observer where motor speed is used as the scheduling variable. Adaptive nature comes from the fact that the estimates of stator resistance and speed are included as observer parameters. Simulation results show that the proposed flux observer gives better control and estimation results than conventional flux estimator specially in low speed region.

  • The use of HDL(Hardware Description Language) is now central to the ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit). HDL-based ASIC can simplify the process of development and has a competition in market because it reduce the consuming time for the design of IC(Integrated circuit) in system level. Therefore, the development of power electronics system on chip (SOC), to design microcontroller and switching logic as one chip, is required extremely for the purpose of having reliability and low cost in power electronics which is based on switching elements. The major application of SOC is variable converter, active filter inverter for induction motor. UPS and power supply with a view to reducing electro-magnetic pollution.

  • 본 연구는 스파이랄 벡터에 기초한 유도전동기 모델의 해석을 나타내고 이 해에 기초한 자계가속법(Field Acceleration Method)에 의해 순시 토크 제어와 회생전력 해석을 나타내었다. 전압지령형의 PWM제어에서 전압형 인버터에 의해 전동기가 동작할 때 전력회생이 수식으로 해석 되었다. 전압지령형의 전압 PWM 인버터에 의한 유도 전동기의 속도 서보시스템을 설계하고 이 속도제어 시스템을 이용해 가감속시의 소비(회생)전력을 측정하여 실제 시스템에서 전력 절약정도를 검토하였다. FAM법에 의한 실험을 행하고 유효성을 확인하였다. 고정자 저항의 측정오차나 변동은 여자전압에 맥동이 생겨 출력 토크에 영향이 나타는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • Nowdays, voltage stability is well recognized as an important problem. It is well known that voltage stability is influenced by the characteristics of load. Up to present,voltage stability researches were done by the static load modeling, but it is needed that the precise analysis by the view point of dynamic load modeling. In this paper, with induction motor as dynamic load, using modal performance measure, optimal value of tcsc is determined.

  • 유도전동기는 기동시 전류가 정격전류의 6배$\sim$8배에 이르기 때문에 경부하로 운전하는 경우에는 역률을 떨어뜨릴뿐만 아니라 과다한 기동전류로 인해 계통전원에 순간전압 강하를 유발시켜 선로의 전력품질(Power Quality) 저하가 심각하게 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PSCAD/EMTDC 패키지를 이용하여 IEEE에서 제시한 배전 계통 13버스 모형 모델 및 유도기 부하를 모델링하여 사고모의 및 DSTATCOM의 보상 효과를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보였다.
