열교환기용 BAS111합금 고주파유도용접관에서 인발조건이 기계적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Drawing Parameters on Mechanical Properties in High Frequency Induction Welded Tubes of BAS111 Alloy for Heat-exchangers)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the optimum drawing parameter for BAS111 welded tubes. The BAS111 aluminium alloy tubes with 25.4mm in external diameter and 1.5mm in thickness for heat-exchangers were manufactured by high frequency induction welding with the V shaped convergence angle 6.8$^{\circ}$ and power input 50㎾. With increasing the reduction of area (1.6, 5.8, 11.5, 14.2, 18.5, 22.5%) by drawing, tensile strength was increased and elongation was decreased. With increasing the reduction of area by drawing, hardness in weld metal increased rapidly, while that of base metal increased slowly. In the specimen with the outer diameter smaller than 22mm, hardness of weld metal was higher than that of base metal. The optimum drawing parameter of area reduction was estimated about 15% because of the work hardening of welds.

복합열처리(複合熱處理)한 연강(軟鋼)의 표면경화(表面硬化)에 관한 연구 (A Study on Surface Case Hardening of Blend Heat Treated Mild Steel)

  • It is investigated that Fe-C-N compound layer, defusion layer, and induction hardened layer produced by nitrocarburizing blend heat treatment in austenitic temperature with high frequency induction heating of mild steel specimen sprayed sursulf salt-bath. As the temperature of blend-heat treatment got increased, the thickness and hardness of compound layer and diffusion layer were increased. Compound layer(max. $35{\mu}m$), diffusion layer (max. 2.5mm) and induction hardened layer were gained in the shortest time 10 sec and in the case of $1000^{\circ}C$ total hardness depth of those was about 3.5mm. When the blend-heat treated specimen was reheated, maximum hardness of compound layer was dropped more than that of the reheated compound layer after sursulf treated, whereas hardness of diffusion layer was increased.

  • 단일 주파수로 유도가열에 의한 표면 경화 열처리 공정에서 생기는 설비의 이중 투자 문제 및 열처리 공정시간을 단축할 수 있도록 하기 위해 하나의 공정에서 두가지 공정을 동시에 처리할 수 있도록 해주는 동시 이중 주파수(Simultaneous dual frequency: SDF) 구동기법 기술에 대해 설명한다. 본 논문에서는 듀얼 방식의 인버터를 제안하여 이중 주파수(Dual frequency) 구동기법을 구현하였으며 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안된 인버터의 이중 주파수제어 및 전력제어를 검증하였다.

  • Induction heating is utilized in a large and ever-increasing number of application. The most prominent of these are billet heating heat treating, metals joining, and metal melting. In these day, heating roll, a kind of induction heating, is widely used in curing of coatings and fiber industry. In this paper, at first, treated that heating roll's characteristics equation. The second, analysis of magnetic flux and eddy currents distribution using FEM.

고주파 열처리된 SAE1055 강의 피로거동 및 이의 확률론적 평가 (Probabilistic Analysis of Fatigue Behavior of Induction Hardened Steel)

  • 본 논문에서는 고주파 열처리된 SAE1055 베어링강의 경도에 따른 피로 거동 및 이의 확률론적 평가를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 경도 수준에 따른 5 종류의 시험편(A : 원재료, B : HV390-전경화, C : HV510-전경화, D : HV700-전경화 및 E : HV-700 표면경화)를 준비하였다. 피로시험은 4 점 회전굽힘 피로시험기를 이용하여 응력비 R=-1 의 조건하에서 수행하였다. 그 결과, SAE1055 강의 피로 거동은 경도에 따라 크게 변화하였으나 HV510 수준이상에서는 피로한도의 증가는 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 피로 파손기구에 대한 경도의 영향을 평가하기 위하여 SEM(scanning electron microscope)을 이용한 파면 관찰을 수행하였다. 피로수명의 통계적 특성은 P-S-N(probabilistic S-N) 곡선을 이용하여 평가되었으며 이에 대한 경도의 영향은 잔류치 해석(residue analysis)을 통하여 수행하였다.

  • Ginger is an important monocotyledonous plant belonging to the family Zingiberaceae. The objective of this study was to investigate the regeneration potential of ginger using leaf base explants. Auxins such as 2, 4-D and NAA in combination with BA were used for initiation of callus. Different combinations of both ammonium ($NH^{4+}$) and nitrate ($NO^{3-}$) were also studied for efficient callus production. High frequency of white friable calli was observed on modified Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 2.0 mg/L 2, 4-D, 0.5 mg/L NAA and 0.5 mg/L BA. The highest shoot induction (92.33%), shootlets number ($7.33{\pm}0.33$) and length ($88.33{\pm}4.40$) mm were achieved on MS media containing 0.5 mg/L BA. Regenerated shoots were transferred to in vitro rooting media containing 1.0 mg/L IBA. Afterwards, plantlets with well-developed root and shoot system were subjected to a twostep hardening process. 71% of plantlets survived after secondary hardening without any abnormal morphology.

Prediction of temperature distribution in hardening silica fume-blended concrete

  • Silica fume is a by-product of induction arc furnaces and has long been used as a mineral admixture to produce high-strength, high-performance concrete. Due to the pozzolanic reaction between calcium hydroxide and silica fume, compared with that of Portland cement, the hydration of concrete containing silica fume is much more complex. In this paper, by considering the production of calcium hydroxide in cement hydration and its consumption in the pozzolanic reaction, a numerical model is proposed to simulate the hydration of concrete containing silica fume. The heat evolution rate of silica fume concrete is determined from the contribution of cement hydration and the pozzolanic reaction. Furthermore, the temperature distribution and temperature history in hardening blended concrete are evaluated based on the degree of hydration of the cement and the mineral admixtures. The proposed model is verified through experimental data on concrete with different water-to-cement ratios and mineral admixture substitution ratios.

  • 유도가열 기술은 담금질, 단조를 위한 예열, 용융 그리고 요리 등과 같은 산업 전반에 걸쳐서 아주 폭넓게 사용되는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 IH-JAR의 효과적인 설계를 위하여 자계 및 열 해석을 하였다. IH-lAR의 내부자계는 3차원 축대칭 유한요소법을 사용하여 해석하였으며, 열원은 IH-JAR 내부에서 유도된 와전류에 의하여 발생되고, 열은 열원과 열방정식을 사용하여 계산되어진다. 또한, IH-JAR의 온도분포를 시간과 투자율에 따라 제시하였다.

The Linear Oscillatory Actuator(LOA) has very few components and a highly simplified structure, and therefore promises to be simple and reliable. In this paper, LOA was designed and manufactured. before design and manufacture, characteristic of thrust was analyzed using FEA. LOA was manufactured according to design specification.
