  • 유도모터의 벡터제어를 위해서는 회전자 자속에 대한 정확한 추정이 필요하다. 일반적으로 전압모델을 이용한 자속 추정기 구성하면 고속 구간에서 파라미터 오차에 대해 강인한 특성을 갖는다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 약계자 운전에서 부하가 증가할 경우 자속 추정에서 누설 자속에 의한 영향력이 커지게 되며, 심한 경우 누설 계속 오차로 인한 약계자 운전 불능을 야기시킨다. 따라서 본 논문은 유도모터의 누설계수 오차에 의한 벡터제어 성능 영향을 약계자 영역에 집중해서 분석하였다.

  • In modem wind power system of large capacity above 1MW, horizontal axis wind turbine(HAWT) is a common type. And, the optimum design of wind turbine to guarantee excellent power performance and its reliability in structure and longevity is a key technology in wind Industry. In this study, mathematical expressions based upon the conventional BEMT(blade element momentum theory) applying to basic 1MW wind turbine blade configuration design. Power coefficient and related flow parameters, such as Prandtl's tip loss coefficient, tangential and axial flow induction factors of the wind turbine analyzed systematically. X-FOIL was used to acquire lift and drag coefficients of the 2-D airfoils and we use Viterna-Corrigan formula to interpolate the aerodynamic characteristics in post-stall region. In order to predict the performance characteristics of the blade, a performance analysis carried out by BEMT method. As a results, axial and tangential flow factors, angle of attack, power coefficient investigated in this study.

고주파 진공유도로로 제작한 Fe-Si계 합금의 열전변환특성 (The Thermoelectric Properties of Fe-Si Alloys Prepared by RF Induction Furnace)

  • Thermoelectric conversion properties of commercial Fe-Si2 and Fe-Si alloy ingots prepared by RF inductive furnace were investigated. As sintering temperature increased, density of the specimen increased and the phase transformation from metallic phases ($\varepsilon$-FeSi, ${\alpha}$-Fe2Si5) to semiconducting phase (${\beta}$-FeSi2) occurred more effectively. The FeSi phase was detected even after 100hrs of annealing treatment. For the Fesi1.95∼FeSi2.05 specimens prepared by RF inductive furnace, the thermoelectric property improved as the composition of the specimen approached to stoichiometric composition FeSi2. Electrical conductivity of the specimen increased with increasing temperatures showing typical semiconducting behavior. From the electrical conductivity measurements, activation energy in the intrinsic region (above about 700 K) was calculated to be approximately 0.46 eV. In spite of non-doping, the Seebeck coefficient for every specimen exhibited p-type conduction due to Si deficiency. Its maximum value was located at about 475 K, and then decreased abruptly with increasing temperatures. The power factor was governed by the Seebeck coefficient of the specimen more significantly than by electrical conductivity.

  • 플라즈마 현상의 정량적 이해를 위해서는 원자나 분자기체가 가지고 있는 정확한 전자충돌단면적과 그 전자수송 계수의 값을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서 사용하고 있는 Kr과 Xe 원자기체는 PDP와 무전각램프 등 다양한 산업 응용분야에 이용되고 있다. 따라서 2항 근사 볼츠만 해석에 의해 기체압력 1[torr]의 조건에 $0.001{\sim}500$[Td]의 광범위한 E/N에서 순수 Kr과 Xe 원자기체의 전자이동속도 W, 종 횡축확산계수 $ND_L$$ND_T$, 전리계수 $\alpha$/N의 전자수송 계수를 계산하고 물성 해석하였다.

  • The aim of the current study is to compare the performance of large 2 MW and 3 MW wind turbines operating on existing onshore wind farms using Blade Element Momentum (BEM) theory and Angular Momentum (AM) theory and illustrate the performance characteristic curves of the turbines as a function of wind speed (U∞). To achieve this, the measurement data obtained from two different Wind Energy Power Plants (WEPPs) located in the Hatay region of Turkey was used. Two different horizontal-axis wind turbines with capacities of 2 MW and 3 MW were selected for evaluation and comparison. The hub-height wind speed (UD), turbine power output (P), atmospheric air temperature (Tatm) and turbine rotational speed (Ω) data were used in the evaluation of the turbine performance characteristics. Curves of turbine power output (P), axial flow induction factor (a), turbine rotational speed (Ω), turbine power coefficient (CP), blade tip speed ratio (λ), thrust force coefficient (CT) and thrust force (T) as a function of U∞ were obtained for the 2 MW and 3 MW wind turbines and these characteristic curves were compared. Results revealed that, for the same wind speed conditions, the higher-capacity wind turbine (3 MW) was operating at higher turbine power coefficient rates, while rotating at lower rotational speed ratios than the lower-capacity wind turbine (2 MW).

  • 전력선 전자유도 전압에 대한 어떤 시설물의 차폐계수를 산정하려면 그 시설물이 있는 장소에서의 유도전압과 없는 장소에서의 유도전압을 비교한다. 장소의 차이에 기인한 파리미터들을 동일한 환경에서의 것으로 정규화시켜 주어야 한다. 파라미터별로 정규화를 하는 요소별 보정 방식이 기본이지만 함수 관계의 미지성으로 어떠한 파라미터의 보정율 산정이 곤란하다면 유도전압 계산의 결과 값은 모든 파라미터의 영향이 이미 반영되어 있는 것이므로 계산된 유도전압의 기준값을 두고 보정하고자 하는 환경의 유도전압 계산값과의 비를 산정하면 전체 파라미터에 대한 보정이 내포적으로 이루어지는 통합보정 방식을 사용할 수 있다.

  • Sn-filled and Fe-doped $CoSb_3$ skutterudites were synthesized by encapsulated induction melting. Single ${\delta}$-phase was successfully obtained by subsequent annealing and confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Temperature dependences of Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity were examined from 300 K to 700 K. The positive Seebeck coefficient confirmed the p-type conduction. Electrical resistivity increased with increasing temperature, which shows that the $Sn_zCo_3FeSb_{12}$ skutterudite is highly degenerate. Thermal conductivity was reduced by Sn-filling because the filler atoms acted as phonon scattering centers in the skutterudite lattice. Thermoelectric figure of merit was enhanced by Sn filling and its optimum filling content was considered to be z=0.3 in the $Sn_zCo_3FeSb_{12}$ system.

  • The three-dimensional fluid motion through the intake port and cylinder of a single DOHC SI engine was investigated with a commercial computational fluid dynamics simulation program, STAR-CD. This domain includes the intake port, intake valves and combustion chamber. Steady induction port flows for various valve lifts have been simulated for an actual engine configuration. The geometry was obtained by direct interface with a three-dimensional CAD software for complicated port and valve shape. The computational grid was generated using the commercial preprocessor ICEM CFD/CAE. Detailed procedures were presented on the generation of the geometry and the block-structured mesh. A standard k-${\varepsilon}$ turbulent model was applied to consider the complexity of the geometry and the fluid motion. The global flow patterns and the distributions of various quantities, such as pressure, velocity magnitude around the valve seat etc., were examined. The computational results, such as mass flow rate, discharge coefficient etc., for various valve lifts were compard with the experimental results and the computational results were found in good agreement with the experiment.

유도용해법으로 제조된 Co1-xNbxSb3의 열전특성 (Thermoelectric Properties of Co1-xNbxSb3 Prepared by Induction Melting)

  • The induction melting was employed to prepare Nb-doped $CoSb_3$ skutterudites and their thermoelectric properties were investigated. Single phase $\delta-CoSb_3$ was successfully obtained by induction melting and subsequent annealing at $400^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs in vacuum. The positive signs of Seebeck coefficients for all the specimens revealed that Nb atoms acted as p-type dopants by substituting Co atoms. Electrical conductivity decreased and then increased with increasing temperature, indicating mixed conduction behavior. Electrical conductivity increased by Nb doping, and it was saturated at high temperature. Maximum value of the thermoelectric power factor was shifted to higher temperature with increasing the amount of Nb doping, mainly originated from the high Seebeck coefficient around mixed conduction temperature and high electrical conductivity.

  • 고 정밀도와 고 속응성의 물류 이송을 위한 자동피킹 시스템 (Automatic Picking System; APS) 구동용 선형 유도 모터 드라이브의 설계 및 강인한 위치 제어 기법이 제안된다. 모델 불확실성에 대한 강인한 위치 제어기 설계를 위해서 적분형 가변구조 제어 기법이 고려된다. APS의 외란추력, 질량 및 마찰계수 등의 기계적 파라미터 변화는 위치 제어 성능에 직접적 영향을 주며 이러한 불확실성 하에서도 강인한 위치 응답 성능을 보유하는 위치 제어기가 설계된다. 선형 유도 모터의 모델을 위한 Simulink 라이브러리가 상태방정식으로부터 개발되며 이를 활용한 Matlab - Simulink 기반의 비교 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 방식이 강인한 위치 응답 성능을 가지며 고 정밀도와 고 속응성을 요구하는 APS에 적합함이 입증된다.
